Goldlinecars in Leytonstone A Disgrace. AVOID!
Goldlinecars in Leytonstone is an absolute disgrace.
I ordered an ordinary car from Tesco today and was told I had too much shopping for a standard car and the driver Farooq (who was incredibly rude) said that I needed a bigger car.
He drove off.
I called again for a standard car, it came and my shopping went in with no troubles, in fact there was room to spare in that standard car.
Terrible company who try to charge the extra £3.50, when it is obviously not needed.
If anyone sees Farooq in a brown Galaxy car AVOID AT ALL COST. Never seen anyone that rude before.
I told a manager there how rude he was and they weren't interested.
Today was the last day they got my family and friends business.

Airport pick up
Previously I had ok experience with Goldline except today's booking. If you book them to collect you from the airport be aware that they charge if they wait for 45 min after plane landed not the time you booked them for! My flight landed at 7.10 am and I booked taxi for 8 am. Because of long waiting at immigration I met the driver at 8.45. Driver charged £15 for waiting even it was within 45 min free waiting time. This is rip off and I will never booked them for pick up from airport.
As I don't have option to reply to Goldmine cars email I decided to add this to my review. I never received any email from them. I sent my email of complain on 29th! Avoid this company

Dear Dana,
We are extremely surprised that you have decided to post a negative review on Trust Pilot considering that our control room team responded to your query on the very same day by return email.
The duty controller explained within his email that your flight landed at 7:10 am and in accordance with your instructions the driver was due to collect you 50 minutes after landing, which should have been 8:00 am. However, our driver was kept waiting until 8.51am and therefore waiting time charges were applied at our standard rate of .25 pence per minute, plus there were additional car parking charges to pay, which took the total additional charges to £15.00. Any delays experienced at passport control were beyond our control and had you managed to come out into the arrivals hall 50 minutes after your landing time there would have been no additional costs incurred. Please kindly note, that it is also specified on our website that waiting time charges do apply under the airport collection sections.
I do hope that this now further clarifies the reason why there were additional waiting and car park charges, should you still feel the need to speak to a member of the management team, please call 020 8555 5555 or alternatively email info@goldlinecars.com.
Can you trust this Company
Can you trust this Company ? ...proceed with caution.They accept and confirm your booking and then cancel when they say they don't have the resources to honour the booking.
Booked a pick up on Sunday morning from the Albert Hall for 22.15 yesterday(28/11).They confirmed that they would text to say the transport
was on its way and car and reg description.
Instead a voicemail an hour and a half before pick up to say they don't have any vehicles in the area....
It ruined our evening and meant we had to leave the concert early to get any chance of obtaining alternative transport before the entire Albert Hall emptied out.
Really unimpressed and can't stress enough that you should be really careful before making a booking with this Company.

Terrible Service & Communication
This company has an automated line at ASDA in Leyton, called them at 19:12 and they said the Cab would be 5 minutes. Waited for 10 minutes outside and no driver turned up.
Called back at 19:23 and they claimed the driver had turned up and called out for me but İ had not replied, totally untrue as İ was waiting in the cold at the pick up, however the office said they would send a driver within 10 minutes again.
Waited 20 minutes for the second cab and again, no driver turned up! At this point i became very frustrated and decided to call again and ask where my cab was. The office claimed the driver was less than 2 minutes away 'around the corner'. So i decided to wait another 10 minutes, but guess what, again nobody turned up!
İ then decided to call a cab from another nearby office.
Terrible service, customer service skills and would absolutley advise no one to call them. İ will be making a complaint to ASDA also so that they can reconsider having an automated line directly to this cab office.
