Lovely place, £40 a night is perhaps a little bit steep considering on Tar farm complex accessing the showers didn’t seem possible and no running water on tar farm complex. But the venue itself is beautiful and will only get better as the surroundings mature.
Turned up to be told lake shut nothing on website or social media pages then after 1 day of being there ,they said sorryit is open so I had to move very poor lack of communication
Nice setting but fishing was pretty poor, possibly due to an easterly wind. Only 1 fish caught by numerous fishermen all day.
Tar Farm is a beautiful new complex and a wonderful place to spend some time. Book a swim and know you’ve got somewhere great to look forward to.
Fished hunts corner. Lovely lake. Speed bumps on way down to is are a bit of a joke though. Car bottomed out a few times. Other than that awesome Fishery

Best fishery by far ,tar lakes complex is brilliant, total enjoyment clean and well kept

As always the site and amenities at Linear are exemplary, however the only problem in this case is the cost of the lakes booked through the Catch App. Compared to the other Day ticket lakes on site and Day ticket fishing in general, £42 for 23hrs fishing for 20lb fish is just over the top. I had no choice but to book as all the rest of the site was full or closed for group bookings. Fishing used to be affordable for all, not anymore.

Stunning surroundings, can see a lot of thought and hard work gone into providing us anglers with excellent fishing.
The biggest downfall is the pre book swim not being able to move with weather on short sessions if one becomes free
Great venue clean tidy spacious pegs great fish plenty of toilets (very clean) shower facilities can’t wait to book on again
What a fantastic place this is. Loved fishing at hunts corner, and had a bonus of a 25lb 7oz mirror for a personal best.
Had a great 3 days catching 6 fish topped with a 36lb mirror

Manor Farm lake need visit of member of staff. On free swim was noisy family probably without booking for 2 h. The lake looks like nobody care what is going there.
Me and my boy love going to linear it's a great place and my boy fishes for free. The valiffs are always helpful. It's our favourite place to go
Although we blanked the weekend and rain was horrid and swims did flood.we still had a great time and im sure another day would have bought alot more fish in.will definatly be back as theres some quality fish to be caught.bailiffs were friendly has a well stocked shop.
Fantastic venue. Every time I go I meet new friends. Grounds are clean.. as mentioned would be great if there was a take away service to the swims. I know many who would take that option
