Goated operates like a platform constantly testing ideas without fully considering the impact on the people backing it. After repeated attempts to resolve issues privately through the proper channels, nothing changed; which is why I’m writing this.
I joined Goated in September 2024 and was genuinely impressed. The UI, theme, original games, and management gave the impression of a serious contender in the crypto space. I believed in it enough to build an affiliate operation centered primarily around Goated. I invested tens of thousands of dollars of my own money; developing a website, building a Telegram group, incentivizing players, and supporting chat morale. All to drive traffic and growth to the platform.
Management initially supported this effort with a wager-based leaderboard. I built my infrastructure around that system. A few months later, they reversed course and removed it. I absorbed that loss and continued supporting the platform.
Then came the Airdrop. I wagered millions and lost tens of thousands accumulating points. Those points were earned fairly. Later, Goated allowed players to “wager their airdrop points.” I managed mine responsibly. After many players lost theirs and complained, Goated introduced a lottery structure that heavily advantaged those same players; effectively diluting the system before it even began. Shortly after, the Goated Token price dropped significantly.
Public criticism of these decisions often results in muting or bans. At that point, I chose to self-exclude. I no longer want to support a platform that frequently changes direction without regard for the partners who invest real capital and credibility into it.
This brings me to their Terms of Service, which clearly states:
“4.10. If your Goated Account has been closed, locked, blocked or excluded and you wish to recover funds held in it, please contact Goated via in-platform chat support.”
After self-excluding, I contacted support to recover the funds in my account; specifically the affiliate commission earned from referred players. Goated refused to release it. Previously, one of the founders allowed me to claim commission under similar circumstances when I was actively promoting the platform. That standard appears to have changed, further showcasing their repeated wishy-washy ways.
No other platform I’ve worked with withholds legitimately earned affiliate commission due to self-exclusion. Basically they only want you claiming commission while your account is opened to gamble it back. The inconsistency in policy, combined with reactive decision-making and poor communication, has significantly eroded trust.
I had high hopes for Goated. I believe the intentions may be good, but the execution, instability, and lack of strategic consistency make it difficult to see long-term credibility in the crypto gambling space.

Regarding the Airdrop and the Goated Token, token price movements are influenced by a wide range of external market conditions, sentiment, liquidity factors, and broader crypto volatility. These dynamics are not controlled solely by platform decisions. Adjustments to reward structures were implemented in response to community-wide participation trends and fairness considerations, not to dilute specific users.
On the topic of chat moderation: public criticism in itself does not result in bans or mutes. However, moderation actions may occur when discussions violate on-site communication guidelines. In many cases, mutes are requested directly by users themselves. We remain open to constructive feedback, but certain discussions must stay within platform rules.
Regarding affiliate commission and account closure:
As outlined in our Terms of Service (Section 4.10), recoverable funds refer to available balances. Bonuses and affiliate commissions are categorized as pending rewards and are not considered withdrawable balances while an account is self-excluded. The instance you referenced previously was granted as a one-time exception.
Additionally, under our self-exclusion policy, rewards and bonuses can only be claimed within the first 24 hours of exclusion activation. After this period, account access and reward claims are restricted for the remainder of the exclusion term. This policy is in place to preserve the integrity of responsible gaming measures.
We understand that strategic shifts can be frustrating, particularly for affiliates who invest time and capital into promotion. However, platform decisions are made based on long-term operational sustainability, regulatory considerations, and ecosystem health.

You guys may notice suddenly there has been a barrage of positive reviews, purely cause they lured users to review for tips.. which they again scammed..
While the casino is not a scam but they are super shady, I speak as someone who has wagered 5 million on this website, initially they encouraged us and were completely fine with users having multiple accounts infact the co founder even confirmed that it’s alright but as it got closer to the release of the airdrop they restricted those accounts so the person can’t slim his hard worked tokens..
Side note : they also liquidity pulled their own token to profit after its pre release rugging their own customers..
Anyway coming back to their practices, a few weeks before the airdrop they let people gamble their goated points and indicates that those who lost all their points would still get something once the airdrop was dropped but once again after the airdrop happened, received nothing instead got a response that I hadn’t deposited and wagered, why would a person deposit and wager if he had points to play with and points upto 4 million.. that part I can easily say if not scammy it was definitely sleazy and worth highlighting..
As mentioned prior after wagering 5 million for their tokens getting nothing in return speaks of the casino and their character, these recent reviews are paid for and not to be trusted..
