Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service from start to finish (and I’m confident I can contact them again if I need to in the future). I cannot fault the Professionalism and care of the staff towards us. I was very nervous about choosing a WAV but the whole experience was stress-free and smooth - despite Covid! I’d highly recommend them.

Fabulous service

Fabulous service, Simon and team were very helpful. I am so happy with my new car and can fit all my disabled equipment into it easily. This company are nice to deal with and you are in good/safe hands.

Buyer Beware!

We took delivery of our vehicle at 10am on 8/9.
We noticed several large scratches on the paint work which we didn’t notice when we were in Newton Abbot on 1/9. Subsequent conversation with Roy proceeded along the line of its us a second hand vehicle!
We were buying from a reputable dealer/adapter not an iffy forecourt salesperson. In fact Roy said he hadn’t noticed the scratches and grudgingly agreed that I could find a paint shop and send him the estimate. Lesson to learn from that is check minutely before you purchase! Then recheck when the vehicle arrives.

However that incident paled into insignificance when this afternoon (11/9) 48 hours after it was delivered to us, the vehicle was being driven down the M20 when a warning sign indicating a gear box problem, it’s an automatic.

It was nursed home, at times refusing to move up from first gear. A call to GM Coachworks at 4.50pm resulted in my being transferred to the service division where one employee suggested locating one of the service engineers and getting them to come to look at the vehicle.
Her colleague then told me there wasn’t any point doing that as they weren’t Peugeot engineers!

He told me to contact the RAC as the vehicle came with Buysure and a 12 month warranty. I rang them - nearly 2 hours later I finally managed courtesy of the Motability arm of the RAC ( we own our vehicle, it is not part of the Motability scheme) to actually get a call out.
Why that length of time? Because GM Coachworks had failed to alert the RAC that the policy should now be in my name - as I type that, I wonder if the greater omission was not removing it from the mobility scheme.

Because of this I have fielded 3 calls from RAC control, suggesting recovery to Bilston( we live in Kent), another telling me that the Paul would be 15 minutes which he was, another saying how come he was coming to our address in Kent when the car was registered to Bilston. Between GM Coach works and the RAC (admittedly because of GM’s lax administration) this is a Friday evening I do not want to repeat. Ever!

It’s now 8.25. Paul is out with my husband testing the vehicle and we still don’t know if we have a safe vehicle

This is not the first vehicle we have had from them. After this utter fiasco it will undoubtedly be the last.

What’s so bad is that we have potentially been left in a situation where my profoundly disabled stepson may not have transport in which we can take him back to his Care home.

Gm coach works , very good customer service over the phone and at there office in Devon and excellent information when showing Demo vehicle all explained very well And to make sure the vehicle was suitable
