What an absolutely magical day we had at Glow Up Photo Studio!

I cannot recommend this experience highly enough for children and teens. From the moment we arrived, the team made my two girls feel so welcomed and special. They started their day with lovely refreshments before heading into their one-to-one makeover with the most fabulous hair and makeup artist. The looks were beautifully tailored to each of them, highlighting their personalities and giving them such a boost. They both left the chair glowing with confidence!

The photoshoot that followed was nothing short of incredible. The girls were guided through a variety of stunning scene set-ups — from a whimsical swing to a festive Christmas backdrop and even a catwalk moment. The photographer was truly exceptional; my girls couldn’t stop talking on the way home about how relaxed and comfortable she made them feel. She brought so much fun and ease to the session, and it really shows in the photos.

Glow Up is an experience I will treasure forever, and one my girls are still buzzing about.

My daughter had a photo shoot today she loved every minute of it all the ladies were lovely with her she loved having her hair and make-up done the photographer made her feel comfortable and at ease and the pictures are stunning

We won a shoot for my daughter via Instagram for a free shoot. Our appointment was booked 1pm, we arrived 20 minutes early and waited for a bit, which we were fine with. About 1.15pm she got her hair and makeup. They were kind enough to curl mine and my mum's hair too so we could have a nice photo with her (this was lovely but notice would've been nice to sort better clothes to wear!). The woman who did the hair and makeup was absolutely lovely, as was the lady who welcomed uas. Once hair and make up were done, we waited about 20 minutes to half an hour to go into the studio. My daughter had a fabulous time in the studio and we got some amazing photos! We were in there about 45 minutes total, we didn't feel rushed at all, and my daughter had the privacy to change etc. it's left her feeling super confident which is lovely!!

Once the shooto was completed we waited over an hour to view the photos which was a tad frustrating and difficult for my daughter. Some people who were there since 1.30pm still had not gone in for photos. Once in the viewing room the photos were lovely. However, some insight to prices prior to going in would have helped, and given chance for discussions etc. Photo packages range from £395 to upwards of £2000. There was flexibility to payment of packages, deposits and monthly payments with no interest etc which is good.

It was a really lovely day and staff were lovely. The only issue was the long wait times. Other than that it was a lovely experience, and my daughter was made to feel like a proper super model!!

I entered a competition for my daughter to win a makeover and photo shoot. We were told she was a runner up, which meant she could get a free photo and there was the option to put down a small deposit towards a package, with no obligation to buy. I decided to go along as I thought the hair, makeup, and photoshoot experience would be a lovely confidence boost for my daughter before going back to school.

On the day, the staff were genuinely welcoming and professional. They offered us refreshments, made us feel really comfortable, and even suggested some family photos and had me (Mum) in hair and make up too which was lovely. A little heads up about this being an option could have been good as we could have planned out outfits better but luckily we hadnt thrown our slacks on!

My daughter absolutely loved being pampered – she really came out of her shell, had fun in front of the camera, and was thrilled to leave with a little goody bag at the end. It was lovely to see how confident and happy she felt.

Although my original plan was to just take the free photo, the quality of the pictures was excellent and we ended up purchasing a package. The packages are advertised at very high prices, and while they can be reduced, I do think it would be better if the pricing was more transparent. That said, I never felt pressured or pushed into buying, which I really appreciated.

I think if you go in with the mindset that you only want the free photo, that’s absolutely fine and the experience itself is fantastic and the pictures exceeded my expectations. But if, like us, you need updated family pictures for around the house or have another use for the photos, then buying more is a bonus! The team really do provide a worthy service either way.

Overall, the hospitality, the makeover, and the way my daughter was made to feel special all made it a really positive experience. We left with some lovely photos and, more importantly, a big boost in confidence for my daughter.

My daughter Rhea had an amazing time from start to finish. She is a very sassy and confident little lady, but it was her first time doing anything like this. She loved having her makeup done, and staff were all really friendly and encouraging. Rhea especially loved getting to strut her stuff on the runway, and pose in the different studio settings in her new outfits.
It was a pleasure to watch my little girl shine and enjoy the experience. We even got to join in on a couple of the photos with her. We can’t wait to see the finished photos.

Daughter had the most magical day, the team made her feel welcome from the moment she walked in.
She loved every minute and wants to do it again.

My daughter really enjoyed her time at the studios today, the girls made her feel very welcome and took time to chat with her, the photos were all lovely and we had a tough choice to pick out our favourites.

All staff were really welcoming and engaging. My 8 year old absolutely loved having her hair and make up done. The photoshoot was an amazing combination of outfits and poses in different places and backgrounds. We were all made to feel comfortable and had people checking in with us throughout the experience.

We did the Glow up kids experience and won the runner up prize. My daughter absolutely loved every minute. From the moment she walked in the staff were fantastic making her feel so welcome.

Edit- As much as this was a great experience I feel I was pushed into buying more photos they were great but I feel like they are a bit on the pricey side. I don’t feel like I had a chance to properly decide on weather or not I could afford the pictures and dont get the opportunity to go away and think about it you are expected to make a decision there and then. I think they need more transparency on pricing and packages they offer. Now I know what to expect we will definitely be back as it’s all my daughter can talk about

Wonderful experience! All 3 of my children enjoyed their morning, getting glammed up to theirs (and mine), comfort levels to then go onto experience a professional studio session, with a brilliant and professional photographer who empowered their confidence and self belief, whilst having fun! Plenty of smiles all round. X

What a fabulous experience! All the staff were really friendly, the makeover treatment really did make my girls feel special!! Now just waiting to make the difficult decision of picking a favourite eeek!

My daughter Lilly absolutely loved every minute of her experience at glow up kids she had so much fun and they were really great with her I would highly recommend and i will be back again in the future with my other kids

By far one of the best photo studios in England. I’ve been to various different studios in London/manchester/Birmingham and without a doubt the experience from this one was unmatched. The hospitality upon arrival and throughout was amazing and I couldn’t of felt more looked after, the children had time in the makeover chair and were made to feel so special, the set up was great with a little runway to really help them get the full experience and the photographer was so kind and patient and produced some beautiful photos, even the viewing experience afterwards was spot on I couldn’t fault them on anything it was just purely a perfect experience. Wish I had found them sooner and will definitely be going there in future for our yearly family photos.
