Terrible experience with Global Gate. I worked with them for almost two years, and it was the same issue the entire time: they don’t respond, and when they finally do, they’ve already switched you to a different advisor. Every new person asks for the same documents all over again, like they’ve never worked on your case before.

In the end, they completely lost track of my information. In my case, they didn’t even know what had been done anymore. They went as far as filing my 2023 and 2024 tax returns without my authorization, even though those returns had already been properly filed by another preparer. Because of their disorganization, I now have problems with the IRS and have to go in person to fix a situation they created.

They never take responsibility, never admit mistakes, and their responses are unprofessional. It honestly feels like dealing with people who have no control over what they’re doing.

If you hire them, be prepared to lose your money. They are not an honest company and will not solve your problem.

Honestly, stay away and find another option.

Global Gate is the worst and here's why. The very beginning I believed that the experiences with Yessenia who is with Global Gates’ CPA was going well because they started asking for documents right away. Little did I know 2 years later I was still waiting for an Offer in Compromise to be done. I owe even more money to IRS because of penalties and interest that Global Gate caused. They couldn't even stop the levy's from my husband's retirement check. Of course they were still expecting to get their monthly payment. When they did our Tax Returns it was like IRS was doing it themselves. The deductions we knew we had and gave Global Gate they didn't even claim. So since they have done nothing to help us but pay more taxes in 2 years and 2 months we fired them. All Global Gate did was cause us more debt and kept changing employees. Ended up with James Johnson, EA and Davonte, his Assistant We have been forced to file Bankruptcy because of Global Gate. I am seeking out my legal rights to keep Global Gate from doing this to someone else. I will also post this in Google Reviews and Better Business Bureau.
