Useless site. You cannot leave honest negative criticism as they protect the big companies, they are all in it together.

A TJX store manager told a malicious complaint on me because he was racist towards black people and the complaint got me dismissed. Racism is high in that specific store TKMAXX in Worcester with the store manager Kris Manning black people avoid shopping there and spend your hard earned cash with these racist people

Tried to look up a company and informed that in order to view reviews on Glassdoor, one must register an account. Okay. Done. Tried to view reviews only to be told I have to first leave a review. This information was not given when informed I had to make an account or I would not have done so, passing on personal information.
Be aware of this should you want to look up a company without having an account.

The website started with good intentions and has turned into a place to anonymously moan, defile and incite negativity! I would be more inclined to AVOID companies who have good ratings on Glassdoor. Glassdoor you have completely lost your way and frankly I don't know how you all sleep at night. When you make contact with them, they don't reply.

⭐️ 1 STAR — WORST REVIEW SITE EVER

Absolutely terrible experience. The site constantly fails to load content, and once something goes wrong, there's no way to go back or re-submit your review. Even worse, they clearly don’t fact-check anything — false or misleading reviews are left up without question, damaging reputations with zero accountability. Unprofessional, unreliable, and a complete waste of time. Avoid at all costs.

This is an employer review. Their platform is built on utter incompetence and indifference to UK GDPR laws.

After 1 week of complaints, I was unable to create a corporate profile. I only saw job seeker menus, or system errors.

They sold/shared my data with 3rd parties without permission. Fortunately, I had signed up with a temporary corporate email, with numbers, which is easily disposable, but that is hardly the point.

When confronted about GDPR violations they try to excuse their behaviour as relying on California Privacy Laws. This is irrelevant. All firms selling into the UK or EU must abide by UK laws.

We had planned to post jobs there. We will use a UK platform instead.

My review attempts keep getting immediately and automatically removed without rationale even after accepting it months before. This has been going on for nearly a year. Once i finally DO get a response from customer service, it’s from a bot telling me my content is not appropriate due to me leaving more than one review?! Completely incorrect. I can see i am not alone in this. What a pointless website.

After submitting so much personal data just to deal with combative bots, I have deleted my account so they no longer access my information.

Crap service, I already left a review of where i worked but every time I go back onto it I have to do another. Absolute rubbish.

Would give minus stars if I could! Terrible organization who allow anyone to access your information and make unsolicited calls to you from unknown mobile numbers … even at the weekends!!! I Reluctantly signed up to Glassdoor as they force you to in order to access any information that may be of use. Within 2 days of signing up I was being called and messaged from mobile numbers which had automated voices telling me to add their number to WhatsApp so they could discuss job opportunities - considering the platform does not even know what work I do … I can’t imagine what these job offers could be! - totally regret signing-up … avoid these Scammers who pass on your information to other scammers!

Why am I getting text messages from a mobile number requesting option in working one hour/day for between £50<£300 processing data. This is obviously a scam - keep away from this BS

I was asked by my new employer to review them on Glassdoor. Like a fool I did! Despite telling Glassdoor I didn't want to receive emails from them I received marketing emails. Their communication is via a web form which doesn't work. They are SPAMMERS.

Useless. I've given them the type of job I want, distance I'm willing to travel, all the usual info that you give agencies but they constantly send me rubbish like jobs abroad etc which I'm not even qualified to do. I will be unsubscribing.

remove negative reviews. most reviews they keep are the fake ones or the ones that are not too negative

They remove reviews, used to be trustworthy now it’s not. Absolutely a joke.

Do not trust anything you read on there. Remove 1/5 reviews but leave the fake 5/5 ones from people who don’t exist and never worked at places. It seems money got too tempting for them and they gave up on truth and honesty.

Forced sign-up?

Absolutely not...

I was forced to sign up simply to read the reviews of an employer. Within days I was receiving unsolicited texts from agencies offering jobs. I am employed and only signed up to read reviews. You need to review both your policy for requiring sign up and how client data is used.

They try to force you leave reviews in order to access the site, no wonder there so many fakes

All the reviews are fake. I've had every negative review removed. Reword it so it's bland as hell. But put 1 star, removed. I'm assuming the company can remove reviews? But then what's the point? The star system and reviews aren't worth anything.

Terrible terrible website, you have to add so much information to actually use the service, don’t waste your time with it

Impossible to leave negative reviews for employers and companies as they are always removed by the company despite what glassdoor claims. Instead many fake positive reviews written from the company themselves are the only ones showing. Despite reporting these reviews as fake they are never removed - glassdoor is very biased towards company’s who have a paid account with them, no surprise there at all.
I’ve left several negative reviews as a previous employee and surprisingly none are showing on this site.
Job search alerts are also useless- the headline on alerts shows it’s in my location and expertise but when reading the job posting it’s actually hundreds of miles away and completely unsuitable.
