Flower dome gift
Most flower companies will advertise a delay in delivery. This one doesnt. When contacting them their response is its in the fine print.i dont believe in taking peoples money for a products or service with out being transparent about it. I ordered a gift for a friend in hospital to cheer them up and the delivery came 8 days later. To be fair 4 of those days were a public holiday and weekend but still no mention was made about not delivering over this period. So my conclusion, this is not a good company for overnight or a day or two gift. In the future ill stick to reputable flower companies and systems for gifts.

My review is not to be unfair but of my experience so dont be offended all reviews should be seen as constructive to a business along with all your customers should be valued. A simple apology for the delay and misunderstanding would have taken the review away.

Hi Rachael, you made this order on the Saturday during Easter weekend, which was the 8th April. You had messaged us after you had ordered, and we explained that there is no courier pick ups during the weekends or on Public Holidays, (which is standard with couriers). We dispatched this first thing on Tuesday morning, (which was the next business day 11th April) and it was received by you on the 14th April. We are based in Christchurch and this was shipped to Auckland. All our shipping policies are displayed on our website clearly. We are not a flower delivery company, we are a giftbox company and we do ship our orders via courier as soon as possible. Unfortunately this was delayed because of Easter, but we feel this 2-star review is a bit unfair as Weekends and Public Holidays are out of our control. We also do not advertise that we deliver overnight, or a day or two to Auckland.

The whole experience was both professional and stress free and I'd definitely use Gift Genie again.
