Terrible response and no service

Terrible response - slow to respond, ask for a ton of information, and then blame the retailer for their poor quality product. I had a similar issue with a brand new pair of clear canal heels that turned cloudy after being worn once. I was not even asking for a refund - simply a solution to cleaning the shoes. What they offered did not work and they offer no solution and take no responsibility. I will never buy anything from this company. They do not stand by their products.

Disgraceful sales experience

I recently purchased some black vamp heels through Farfetch but sourced directly from Gianvito Rossi - they were reduced I would like to add. When they arrived I tried them on in my carpeted bedroom. Firstly any shoes I would try on on a carpeted surface not just expensive ones. I found they had little grip on the sole which worried me as I thought on a night out I might slip in them. I chose to put back in box and return. They were covered in the soft tissue inside the box and sent to DHL. Then after chasing Farfetch for my return money they came back to me with a reply from Gianvito Rossi saying I hadn’t put them back in the shoe bag (I only tried one shoe on) and they had marked in transit. They were then returned to me. From my understanding Farfetch had tried to argue my case as they too could not believe the attitude given from the customer service team there. When I received the shoes back the mark is so insignificant I can barely see it. Also these were sale shoes so who knows if this mark wasn’t already there from a previous return. The whole experience has completely put me off buying anything from Gianvito Rossi

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!

I bought the Swarovski crystal pumps for €2355,- with the worst quality. The fabric and swarovski came loose after wearing it once. I contact Gianvito customer service directly and I had to pay 100 euro to repair this. I think it’s nuts to pay 100 euro extra for a shoe that cost me €2355,- and it’s already damaged after wearing it once. I paid the costs to repair them and no answer. It’s disgusting how they handle situations like this. I am emailing with them since 14 December and still they did not repair anything!

I would like to address an issue regarding the purchase of your shoes. Unfortunately, after wearing them only once, there was a noticeable deterioration in their appearance, leading to my dissatisfaction with the shoe's quality. Upon contacting your support, I was initially advised to clean the shoes with an ammonia-free glass cleaner, which I promptly did, but with no success.
Subsequently, I was instructed to send the shoes directly to Gianvito Rossi for on-site cleaning, utilizing the label provided in the box. Regrettably, I received no response and was later informed that the shoes were allegedly sent incorrectly, using the wrong label. These discrepancies contribute to my current disappointment.
As a customer who has invested €640 in regular-priced shoes, I expect a customer-oriented service. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a satisfactory solution to my concern. Therefore, I kindly request you to revisit my issue and work towards a suitable resolution.

Terrible quality shoes sold at this website

Terrible experience, purchased Ribbon ankle boots, they turned out to be defected: one of the shoes is matt another is glossy. True, I did not contact them right away but when I contacted them later, they asked me to send the shows in at my expense and that they wouldn't guarantee that the shoes will be fixed. They did not propose to exchange the shoes or give me a rund. I understand if the shoes were worn out or damaged in a different kind of way, but if the leather turns matt on one shoe and remains normal glossy leather on the other one, it is clearly a manufacturing defect. I am starting to think this websites sells Gianvito Rossi shoes that did not pass the quality test to be sold in official shops. This is highly disappointing as other high end brands provide professional customer support, refurbishing if necessary, returns, refunds.

Good quality and very positive experience

I received my order (a pair of shoes) very quick. The shoes were of very good quality and exactly as on the pictures. Unfortunately they didn't fit. I had to send an e-mail to customer care to send them back. Response came within a day. Returning was very easy and within 5 days I had my refund back! I would definitely order again at Gianvito Rossi. Because I read some negative reviews I wanted to post my experience, because mine is only positive!

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Apparently, the shoe quality isn't much better. I have a pair of sandal heels I wore once and the left heel is now on an inward incline, with the right positioned as it should. I've worn heels for many years, inexpensive and designer, and never had I had to send in supporting images (and video) to customer service only to be told, their HEAD OF PRODUCTION says there is not TECHNICAL ISSUE and that's how the heel is SUPPOSED TO BE! Insanity! Not only that, but they are saying that no repairs will be done or offered. This sandal retails for well over $1000. Never again will I buy from this despicable brand.

Terrible customer support

They have great shoes but terrible customer service. I have made single order with 2 items and they have dispatched as 2 shipments from 2 different warehouses ( their issue,fault not mine ) by DHL which forced me to pay 2x DHL fees locally ( 27 euros per parcel ) as DHL have to submit doccs for custom in my country.

I spent days in giving them proofs that it is their problem not mine. I did pay but they did not want to refund me. Someone from customer service told me that I should not pay twice but last few days someone else is sending emails and it is so stubborn person. Her name is Lucia. You know that feeling when you call bank and it seems like you are not talking to human but AI. This is the case. No reason behind replies, just keep repeating same sentences. Such a shame for huge company. Will never order anything online again from them. They should watch how Brunello Cucinelli is taking care of loyal customers.

BUYER'S BE AWARE!
DO NOT PURCHASE SHOES FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE! I purchased a pair of sandals from GionvitoRossi.com and after I wore them out once the heel broke off (at no fault of mine, the company agreed this must have not been glued properly.) I contacted the company right away and did not hear anything back for 2 weeks. I asked if I could get the shoes fixed on my own and if they would offer a discount, they said no. I asked for an exchange, they said no. I asked to take it to a place they trust and they said no. And of course they said no to a refund. Their idea of helping me was almost 2 months of back and forth e-mails (where weeks would go by with out any answers from their Italy team) for me to send the shoes back to Italy for a repair where it would take 6-8 weeks for the shoes to come back to me. I purchased the sandals back in July to wear in NY for the summer. I now wont see the sandals back until late October- November maybe. This company policy is not aligned to American customer service standards. I paid over $500 for a sandal I have not been able to wear. Their response time would take weeks and they are not willing to anything for the customer, only what would be beneficial to them even when their product was defective and poorly made. If I had paid $20 at a sandal at Target and this happened they would have refunded me my money. For an expensive sandal like this I have been forced to wait over 4 months for a resolution. It's ABSURD! This brand will never see a penny of money again!

Very bad company.

Very bad company.
They ripped me off.
The shop manager convinced me to buy shoes as very durable as i was looking for shoes for work. After not even few weeks of wearing them in a carpeted office, the shoes were damaged. After one month very damaged as when i rubbed the shoes together the leather peeled off.
The company refused to do anything and said that this is the quality they are selling. They dared to stick into the box when giving back my shoes a paper saying that they are ultra sensitive leather and to be used with special care.
I was robbed £575.
They dont even do these plexi nude leather because they know the quality was rubbish but they never replaced my shoes nor refunded me. What a rip off. Shame on your company.
You are better off buying zara shoes trust me. At least they will last.

Ok it’s now nearly 2 weeks since I returned the shoes bought on their website.
Still no refund.
No reply from customer services to my emails.
In desperation I contacted Gianvito Rossi boutique in London -who have been extremely helpful. Even calling me to ask how things are progressing.
Cannot believe this is a high end retailer operating this way.
Only because I copied the boutique into the email did customer services reply.
Then I was told due to the ferragosto catholic crlebrations everything is on shut down this week? !! Hey?
Cannot believe what I am hearing.
This is totally unacceptable.
There was no delay in them taking my money but a huge delay in refunding it.
Never again.
Will keep you updated on my refund status......
