Awful experience

Absolutely horrible experience. I was not given any sympathy, advice or education from Dr Tezcan. The ultrasound was done with no explanation and the results were given in a blunt and unhelpful way. I felt unheard and invalidated. The blood test was very unprofessional and painful and took multiple attempts to work with the nurse trying in 3 different veins. I would not recommend this practice.

I had a very positive experience at the…

I had a very positive experience at the clinic. Thr staff was professional, kind and made me comfortable throughout my visit. The doctor was thorough, took time to answer my questions and explained everything clearly. The clinic was clean and modern. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking good, reliable women's healthcare.

Inhumane treatment

I am extremely shaken by my recent experience. During my visit, I had an ultrasound that I believed I had prepaid for, as I had done with other treatments there. Before receiving my results, during the checkout process, I was unable to pay immediately and requested an invoice, which they were clearly unhappy about. I promised to pay within 24 hours—this was all before receiving my results. I kept that promise promptly, cc’ing them in an email with my account information to make the payment which was made by 2pm.

However, despite my full cooperation in establishing a payment plan, they called my phone several times the next day (before 2 PM) while I was at work. They then proceeded to call my emergency contact/next of kin listed on my form—my aunt Miriam—upsetting and scaring her by telling her I had been in for a procedure and that they needed to get hold of me.

I felt treated like a criminal, which was deeply distressing, especially considering the sensitive nature of my visit and my status as a returning customer. This experience has only heightened my anxiety and frustration, which I had hoped to alleviate through your services.

Moreover, sharing my medical information with a family member was a serious breach of confidentiality. My aunt is willing to provide a detailed account of that conversation, which not only caused unnecessary worry for my family but also demonstrated a significant lack of respect for my privacy as a patient.

After trying to explain to the staff why this was wrong, I received no empathy, kindness, or acknowledgment of wrongdoing. I have never been treated in such a passive-aggressive manner. I felt harassed and hounded by them, and ultimately gaslighted.

When I sent my concerns, I eventually received my results, but they were simply forwarded to me without any explanation. The results were alarming, confirming that I needed to go for a mammogram, yet there was no duty of care provided in this situation. I would like a direct response regarding my medical results and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Please Read Before You Visit

I came for a scan with Dr. Tezcan, who delivered bad news in a blunt and insensitive manner. She pressured me into booking an IVF consultation on the spot, which I had not considered or discussed with my partner. I paid for the scan and a £250 consultation that she insisted I needed immediately to avoid never getting pregnant. She also said I would likely miscarry, as there's a 50% chance of success with each IVF attempt.

At home, my partner and I decided to cancel the consultation to think things over. Upon calling to cancel, I was told the fee was non-refundable despite not scheduling an appointment. After much back and forth, I sent Dr. Tezcan her own cancellation policy from the website, and she agreed to refund me.

Later, I received a call stating the scan and consultation fees were refunded as a goodwill gesture. Dr. Tezcan then called, raised her voice, and accused me of refusing to return mistakenly refunded money, insulting me until I hung up. The refund had not yet appeared in my bank, but I started receiving calls from a debt collection agency. Once I received the refund, I repaid for the scan, yet the calls continued for two weeks, every few hours, with texts and emails demanding the money.

I researched Dr. Tezcan and found that Grosvenor Gardens Healthcare has no governing body or ombudsman. Dr. Tezcan is the Director and owner, and her other business is a property development company.

Stay away. Guys, Georges and Kings College hospitals have your best interests at heart. I went to see Dr. Tarek El-Toukhy, who was amazing.
