I came across Vypr through a Facebook ad. I had completed over 60% of the 10000 points (a question generally awards 10 points), only to receive an email that my account was immediately closed due to "quality and consistency of responses". As far as I knew I was answering everything as expected (I was asked about which packaged cheese ready meals I'd buy but I said I wouldn't buy any of them).

Disappointed to say the least as I was checking the app daily. When I clicked on the terms and conditions link in my account deletion email, the website was unreachable.

My verdict: avoid.

I spent nearly a year on Vypr just to cash out 10,000 points for £5 — and the whole process was a mess.

They sent my payout to the wrong PayPal account, even though I provided the correct one.

It was wrongly processed as a business transaction under Goods & Services, causing PayPal to freeze the money.

They also deducted a £0.45 fee without ever mentioning this beforehand.

After all that time and effort, I was left with hidden fees, locked funds, and zero transparency. Other survey apps manage payouts correctly — Vypr clearly doesn’t.

Not worth the hassle.
