I used GetSetResumes for a complete resume writing package, including cover letter and LinkedIn profile. While the team seems competent and the final resume draft was decent, the overall experience was frustrating due to delays and poor communication.

All interactions were through email, and replies typically took 1–2 days. They offered scheduled calls, but even those were available only after 2–3 days. After receiving the first draft, I expected a call to discuss feedback, but there was none. When I called customer care, I was again told to schedule a call—only to find the next available slot was two days later. Unfortunately, I missed the call due to a conflict, and no one followed up. I had to chase them just to provide basic feedback.

This lack of real-time communication made the process slow and inefficient. Eventually, due to the delays, I had to compromise on several points and accept the draft as-is just so the process could move forward to the cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I couldn’t afford to wait any longer, as I needed to start applying for jobs—and every passing day added to my frustration.

While I believe the writers are skilled, they appear to be overloaded and unable to give clients the time and attention they deserve. The service feels transactional—more focused on delivering a draft than ensuring it truly reflects the client’s input and goals.

There’s potential here, but unless they seriously improve their responsiveness and client engagement, I can’t recommend the service based on my experience.
