This is a VERY new IUL company about 5-6 years old… They recently (within the last two years) secured funding to mass market and bring in new policies. The problem is they write policies that seem great and affordable in the beginning but overtime (when you need it most) the policies will not perform well due to how it’s structured. Unfortunately most or all of the people who have given good reviews are still in the honeymoon phase. Their (most) opinions will be different in years to come. My recommendation is to shop other more experienced IUL companies to make sure you are getting the RIGHT policy that will suit your needs now AND in the future. If during the shopping phase you find Amplify’s policy’s fits your needs go for it! But just be sure to do your Due Diligence and DO NOT take the word of the advisors/sales people, their jobs are HEAVILY dependent on how many policies are sold not quality. As long as the client keeps the policy for 1 year the carrier pays Amplify full commission, no matter what happens to the policy after that time. Also, National Life (Amplify’s premier carrier) is known for doing business with IUL brokers who write poor policies for years then go belly up. That fact can be verified by the BBB or search National Life law suites involvement.

Any promises that were made that are not specifically in the policy contract, make sure to get it in writing even if in the form of an email. That way at least you can report it to the insurance bureau and collect damages if it’s not honored down the line, unless Amplify goes belly up before then (note… National Life does NOT honor anything that is NOT in their policy contract). This is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in life. It’s meant to provide security to you and your family. Don’t rush the process TAKE YOUR TIME and research research research then make the best decision for your financial future. Don’t let the relentless calling and texting from Amplify pressure you. If you cancel within the 1st few years YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. So be sure this is exactly what you want prior to securing with your banking information which you should NEVER give until you’ve agreed to the actual approval terms. IUL’s are great as long as they are structured right.

Do NOT buy an IUL with this company unless you want your policy to blow up with fees or barely have any cash values after 10 years. The policies they write are one size fits all. They are truly the McDonalds- production line IUL company. They don’t tell you that after age 65 you’re responsible for changing the policy to Level… If NOT done you WILL be screwed. Their response was… well by that time it’s no longer our problem. If you do choose to entertain their quotes MAKE SURE to get a second opinion from another IUL company! Amplify ONLY quotes National Life because of the kickbacks and their own in-house insurer that they just launched this year 2025… but say they “shopped” your application through several carriers. But don’t take my word for it ASK to see the quotes they “claim” they ran with different carriers. Amplify’s advisors are trained SALES people not experienced agents. Make sure to go over the contract with a fine tooth comb! And DO NOT give them your banking info! They will ask for it prior to even being approved, then you’ll have to jump through hoops to get your money back if you decline the approval! And you only have 30 days to do so once approved… BEWARE of this company.
