GermanShop24 is a family owned business and was founded in 2007 by Stefan Kuehnert - originally as a hobby. We started selling over the internet in September 2007 after setting up the very first version of our online shop. The assortment back then was just about 250 products, but still we got in the first order just 2 days after the initial launch. During the following months, orders slightly increased to 5-6 orders per week and there was not much progress in 2008. In 2009 Katrin Kuehnert joined the team and we started to expand our assortment. At the end of 2009 we offered about 2000 different items - all available to be ordered. Orders also went up in 2009 to about 30 per week. In the years between 2010 and 2015 we nearly doubled our revenue each year and we now have a yearly sales volume of about $1.5 Million making us one of the leading online shops for German food world wide, even though we are specialized in shipping to the US. In 2015 we expended our business and now serving wholesalers in different countries including the US and China. We offer air and sea freight service for wholesalers and take care about fulfilling all legal requirements for the destination countries.

Honesty and great service

The new problems with US Customs have made it impossible to get my order from Germany. I was told that I would get a refund but to be patient. After a while I was worried and asked about my refund again, thinking that I will not get it. But the very next day a refund was issued and it was credited back to my card within 2 days. I was very grateful and I am impressed with the honest service I have received. I will continue ordering, albeit from the new store. Thank you very much

I am encouraged!

I am hopeful that this company will soon achieve its former glory as a reliable supplier of German food specialties. The supply chain disruptions resulted from trade issues that were out of this company's control. Unfortunately, my order had to be cancelled, but (true to their word) I was issued a full refund upon my request. Here's to a brighter future.

Disappointed

I have been a loyal customer of GermanShop24 for years and always loved your selection. However, since the move to the U.S., I've noticed that many of the items I used to enjoy are no longer available. The current selection feels much more limited, and a lot of the products I'd typically buy are missing. It's honestly disappointing, as your shop used to be my go-to. I hope you'll consider bringing back more of the original items.

thank you for your review. Yes, some items that we used to carry are not available at our new location, but we are actively working on adding more things to our inventory and re-stocking on all the popular items. We also just added some items that we previously were not able to offer, such as sausages, and more to come. So yes, our range of products will be slightly smaller moving forward, but not necessarily worse ;)

Order not received due to custom issues which I can understand due to the circumstances but there is no other way to contact the company than calling a service hotline where no one ever responds. It comes as no surprise that after 3 months, I have also not received my order or a refund. Communication is key but they are making it impossible to even get in contact with them.

No order. No refunds. Scam

ordered end of january, never received it. was told it didn't pass customs, then they were moving to a warehouse. I asked for a refund,they said bc of volume it would the refund would be delayed, almost another month later and I still don't have my refund. File a report with the BBB and the FTC.
5/2/26 I still don't have a refund! in addition to reporting them to the bbb and ftc, I recommend also reporting to the FBI financial crimes
(ic3.gov) and making public social media post so no one else gets scammed. (make sure to tag him and his company :))
In my opinion based on the reply below , it seems like Germanshop24.com did not manage their cash flow properly and doesn't have the money to refund all of their customers. Don't expect you money anytime soon.
5/6/26 after several social media posts, reports made to agencies and filing a charge back I finally have my refund pending in my account.

Three monts no product, no refund.

It has been three months since they have received my order. I have been told that first the delay was due to customs, later I was told that it was a warehouse issue. I was told that a refund was due but delayed because of a volume issue. Promises, more written promises but no products and no refund. Deeply disappointed.

We are sorry for the issue with your order and we understand the frustration. As we explained in other replies on this page, as well as in several emails to you personally, we unfortunately experienced very significant shipping problems and lost over 800 packages to US customs, which we had already shipped and paid for.

This was due to a series of unfortunate events and in now way out of bad intent, dishonesty or, as you claim, fraudulent activity. We are a small, family operated company that has successfully and reliably been importing German products to thousands of satisfied customers for almost 20 years now.

Unfortunately, over the last 9 months, importing rules and customs practices have become a lot more difficult and intransparent, culminating in the affore-mentioned unexpected destruction of several pallets worth of goods. We have since been doing everything in our power to refund all of our customers, and will continue to do so. We expect to have everything resolved within the next few weeks.
We apologize again for the inconvenience and hope for your understanding.

I placed an order in February and they…

I placed an order in February and they were unable to deliver due to customs issues. They stated they would refund but even 6 weeks after placing the order I had not received a refund. They stated that they now had a US shipping location and they offered for me to get a stare credit to order from that location. They however did not mention that the US location had less than 1/3 of the items I ordered initially. Once I identified this I asked for a refund and they never replied. As such, this is a fraudulent company that cannot be trusted - giving excuses for a refund to take 6 weeks is unacceptable in the first place (no other company takes this long if they cannot deliver), and then stating I could use a store credit to order from the US store even though they knew exactly that most of the items that I had initially ordered were not available there is definite fraud.

Not delivering the order and are not refunding the money.

I placed an order at the end of 2025, but a month later they wrote to say there were issues with the warehouse. They still haven't refunded my money. Three months have passed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Never received my order

Never received my order, asked for a refund, got a response acknowledging delays. I asked to cancel but never heard back and never saw the ~$130 again. I placed the order almost two months ago. Order at your own risk.

Shipment never arrived and no refund

I've been waiting for a month for my order to arrive, nothing arrived happened. I asked for a refund got a confirmation, but still don't have any money and it's been a week :(

we apologize for the issue with your order. Your package was already shipped, but unfortunately a very large number of our packages was intercepted by US customs, for unclear reasons. Yours included. We have been doing everything in our power to get all failed orders refunded, and we expect to have everything resolved within the next few weeks.

We understand your frustration, but we can assure you that there was no bad intent or dishonest business practice on our end. We ran into a serious of very unfortunate, and events that led to the loss of over 800 orders that we had already shipped and paid for.

For future notice, we have now successfully relocated to within the United States, so that similar problems cannot occur anymore. We are a small family-operated business that has successfully and honestly been delivering authentic German products for almost 20 years and we are happy to announce that will keep doing just that.

Prompt shipping and delivery. Package arrived in great condition

Can't say enough! Could not find the potato dumpling mix here in the USA.
Ordered from Germanshop24 and received them within about a week to 10 days. So happy.
Everything was packaged nicely and I received it in good condition.
Our family will be able to enjoy a long standing tradition of Sourbraten for Christmas just like Omi used to make

As no one has replied to my order…

As no one has replied to my order number, I am doing a review with the information again. In hope that someone will reply to my disappointing order due to unexpected high cost.
5 packets Super Dickmans had a shipping cost of $30.99 US (43.20 Canadian), than on top of that there was a Custom Cost of $24.65 Canadian. So the product itself plus the shipping delivery cost $105.97.
order 115540 I have receipts of shipping and custom charges. In case the Germanshop24 misplaced me as a customer.

I can highly recommend GermanShop24

I can highly recommend GermanShop24. Fast delivery, well packed, and even some extra goody included. I always order enough so I don't have to pay the shipping cost. For sure my website to order my items from Germany to make me and my family happy. I love that I can buy German Magazines to keep up with my German reading and new recipes to try out.

4 out of 7 milka chocolate bars expired…

4 out of 7 milka chocolate bars expired in 8 days. We notified seller, he asked to send pics n gave us his mobile number. We did immed. It's a week now n NOTHING! NO REFUND OR APOLOGIES. NEVER again, we also told our family n friends to shop else where or throw their hard earned monies away!!

Zufrieden und gute Erfahrung!

Dieses mal wollte ich ein paar Produkte, was ich immer haben möchte, bestellen. Hier in Japan kann ich nicht viele deutsche Sachen finden und kaufen, besonders Lebensmittel, was man in Deuschland irgendwo immer finden kann. Die Liefereung war ca. 10 Tage mit FedEx Economy, ziemlich billiger als anderen. Und alle Produkte find ich nicht so teuer. also wie normalen oder ähnlichen Preis in Deustchland. Überhaupt habe ich mich sehr gefreut und war zufrieden. Eine gute Erfahrung!
Wie andere Review, es ist hier zur Zeit zu heiß zu lieferen. Trotzdem war alles gut verpackt, dann haben sie gar nicht geschändet!
Ich kann diesen Shop alle empfehlen und schon die nächsten Bestellung überlegen :)(in Japan)

Some of the best customer service I've had online

I've been using this site for years to get Haribo gummies, without all the suspect ingredients they put in them for the United States formulations. I've never had anything but positive interactions with their customer service team, their product selection, or their shipping. Just an all around excellent experience. This is probably my tenth time ordering from them, and still no complaints.
