We looked at several options for our new kitchen, including kitchen showrooms local to us, but decided to see if we could get the kitchen designed remotely by Josh and his team. We were delighted with the design, the quality of the kitchen and the service. We even had samples couriered down to us to check.

I'd definitely recommend them.

These guys went well out of their way with the specification and quotation for my kitchen. Josh answered every single question in detail (I had a lot!). I was looking for a particular kitchen, colour, and design, and I approached several German kitchen specialists and Josh was the only one that responded in a timely manner. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending to others and if I was looking for a kitchen again, I wouldn’t bother looking elsewhere… so if you’re reading this, take note. Thanks again Josh

After a lot of research and deliberation my wife and I chose to order our kitchen from the team at German Kitchen Specialists. In part due to the fantastic service and great value provided by our designer Paul. His product knowledge is second to none and unlike the other dealerships we contacted he was always easy to reach and quick to respond to all of our queries. The new kitchen is now installed and we couldnt be happier. All in all a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use German Kitchen specialists again.

Josh was so helpful nothing was ever too much trouble and he designed our kitchen just how we imagined it.
The design and the quality of the kitchen is excellent and it exceeded all of our expectations.

Fantastic, detail-orientated, honest kitchen planning service and advice by Josh and follow through by Josh and Paul.
I did ALOT of research into kitchens before buying and came to the conclusion that Nobilia kitchens offered far superior quality and flexibility at a very reasonable price point compared to more expensive UK brands and big kitchen companies such as Wren, Magnet, Howdens. Don’t touch these! From past and present experience of buying, getting fitted and using several kitchens now, I would go for Nobilia every time. It is far superior for design, flexibility, quality and importantly price point.
I went with German Kitchen Specialists to supply Nobilia due to their excellent service and extremely competitive price.
Josh was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and helpful.
The whole planning, buying, delivery and after sales support was seamless both on the part of Nobilia and German Kitchen Specialists.
German Kitchen Specialists are an excellent company which I have highly recommended to several of my friends who have been looking for kitchens and they have been equally impressed and decided to purchase from them as well.
If I need another kitchen in the future I will definitely use them again!

Without hesitation I would thoroughly recommend working with GKS. Josh was a genuinely great person to work with throughout my kitchen refurbishment. He was consistently available & responsive throughout the design & order process, and his knowledge of the Nobilia range & costs of the units meant I was able to be smart with the budget.

The Nobilia factory originally sent an incorrectly sized door for an integrated dishwasher, but this was swiftly rectified, despite the Brexit related import delays (GKS had the door resized in the UK instead of in Germany).

Overall I am very happy with the experience and would absolutely plan to use GKS again in the future. Their prices were competitive vs. the high-street shops and to be honest it was easier to contact the GKS team too - e.g. I was able to book a design session one evening over Zoom instead of needing to make an appointment in the day and take time-off work.

We can not recommend this company enough. Helpful, friendly communication was brilliant and always responding quickly.

The quality is excellent and exactly what we had been looking for. It looks amazing in our new home, so many comments.

From Start to Finish, Josh has been more than excellent. We worked together on a kitchen for a family member and it couldn't have been easier!!

I made the mistake of going to reputable high street store for my own kitchen and truly wish I hadn't.

Not only was Josh much better, but the finished result was far more cost effective and easier to get too!!

He worked with us to ensure we got exactly what we wanted, giving advice when needed and providing a fabulous design, that not only looks amazing but works so well too. I came across GKS whilst browsing online and I was a little apprehensive about not doing this in person. However as soon as I spoke to Josh Penny on the phone I knew I was making the best decision regarding our plans for the kitchen, his knowledge is second to none and he is a very well mannered intelligent man.
We told him exactly what we wanted and he worked with us all the way. We weren’t the best customers to work with because our timescale went on a lot longer than expected but GKS remained patient.
The kitchen is quality, the courier was professional and helpful getting the kitchen into the property. Overall we had a very good experience. We will hopefully be coming back if we ever buy another house :-) thanks for everything Josh

Having been quoted by a local franchise for the Nobilia kitchen I wanted I had now resigned myself to it being out of reach financially.

Somehow, I stumbled on German Kitchen Specialist and Josh Penney online. Josh came back with a quote that was within my budget for the kitchen I wanted. I was however, very nervous doing it online but every email or call was answered immediately with meticulous detail and eased my nerves. Josh came up with innovative ideas to make full use of the room and create different areas and by June, the kitchen was delivered and fitted by a local fitter.

The quality of the kitchen was more than I wished for, I'm beyond happy with it. Considering there was little room for changing the kitchen around, Josh added so many exciting parts to it. He didn't disappear after delivery, he was there all the way along - he knew my order inside out.

I cannot thank Josh enough for all his time, effort and expert knowledge. He's created a fabulous space, with ideas that I would never have thought of which work incredibly.. he was always at the end of the phone with detailed responses. His vast knowledge in his field is so valuable.

I could not have got a better kitchen, better service and better customer service from beginning to end anywhere.

Josh was extremely helpful and responded quickly and nothing was too much trouble. I researched many kitchen companies and GKS was by far the best in every way. We bought our kitchen remotely and even despite the distance the service was perfect. Josh was available for any questions the kitchen fitter had and the process was very straightforward.

I would not hesitate to recommend GKS and already have done so to my colleague who also purchased his kitchen with Josh.

Josh was very easy to work with from the start. I was apprehensive about ordering from an online company but a little research goes a long way. Firstly I checked on Companies House to see that it was a legitimate company, I was open and honest in my questions to Josh about my concern with parting with a large amount of money but he was able to answer any question I had.

The process of planning your own kitchen and shouldering some of the responsibility I was comfortable with and I can say having got a quote for the same Nobilia kitchen from a local independent company I was blown away by the difference.

Everything arrived on time, was as expected and the quality was far better than I could have afforded if I had of gone with a big supplier.

Josh was really responsive to emails and always got back if I left a message or voicemail.

Would I use GKS again, yes.

I am extremely happy with my new kitchen purchase. Josh, the designer, was really helpful, patient, knowledgable and courteous and went 1000 extra miles for me above and beyond the normal good service you would expect. I have never met him in person, but we spent hours on the phone discussing details of the design. This has happened at the end of 2020 during lockdown when all shops were closed. I have been sent samples which really helped me to choose the finish I wanted. The delivery was smooth and the kitchen has been installed by my own installer - no hiccups. The end result is stunning. I have modern “designer” kitchen incorporating all the modern elements one would expect from German designer kitchen. I went with Nobilia and the price I paid was honest. The kitchen looks high end and more expensive. Also, we have designed for visually stunning effect ( the kitchen serves the purpose of entertaining) as well as we have given a lot of thoughts to the ergonomics and the internal practicalities. As a result the kitchen is loaded with features. I am hugely satisfied and look forward to using the kitchen for years to come. I would highly recommend the company and the team who run it for your new kitchen project. P.S. I went on to order custom designed dining table with sitting bench around it as well as custom made furniture for the TV / fireplace wall in the living room space. All this is in the open space with same materials used as in kitchen ( wood and concrete) has provided timeless clean uncomplicated modern industrial finish. I got the ideas from Nobilia’s living catalogue. I have received so many compliments and I love living with this new furniture so much.
