Service work

Just been back to Sheffield for some brake pads and badge changing on my X6 always amazing customer service and competitive prices thank you once again to Brett and the team for looking after my vehicle I wouldn’t trust it with anyone else.

Unprofessional Customer Service

Enquired about a vehicle I was interested in. Suggested two different days when I was available to view. Also gave details of my vehicle with a view to part exchange and was told someone would be back in touch.

Despite my chasing up via email the company have totally ignored me.
When I raised the issues via WhatsApp I was told my vehicle's part exchange value was too low and of no use to them.

So, instead of suggesting I sell private (with the reasons why) and arrange a viewing date, the company simply decided to ignore me. I have today received an arrogant WhatsApp messages explaining why I was no longer of use to them.

Great customer service

They are so helpful and friendly and I was sat waiting and they kept going to check on the cars progress to give me an update. They went through all the future needs of my car and answered any questions I had. Customer service is great and I won't go to another garage now

Do not follow the law

Purchased a car online with the assurance that as per distance selling law we have 14 days to return. Car was delivered by a driver which we paid for, once here many faults were spotted but we were told as he was just an independent driver he had to leave to get the train. After numerous phone calls and emails. I have now received an email saying we 'accepted ' the car when delivered so 14 day return does not apply. Spoke to citizens advice and Sheffield trading standards who advised they have to accept the return. Emailed many times with evidence etc. No reply 'Wade' who sent the email can not be reached and only he 'can authorise. Be aware of this company all about the sales and then refuse to follow the law. So disappointing with other good reviews but as always this seems false. AVOID

Rattling noise from son mini

Rattling noise from son mini, these guys diagnosed immediately costed the repair and when we got the car back it sounds like it’s brand new and drives great.

Bought a 2022 Q2 from here today and the service from Rob and the team were unparalleled to anywhere else ive ever purchased a car.
From start to finish the process was smooth and easy, Rob was extremely helpful and dealt with everything for me just told me where and what to sign, he turned the car around in an extremely short time frame for me so I was able to pick up when I needed it and drive away completely happy.

Many thanks to Rob and the guys, highly reccomend 10/10

🚘🤩 Simply the Best 🤩🚘

Brett, Gary and the whole team consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. They always take the time to clearly explain the work needed in advance, stick to their promised timelines, and keep me updated throughout. I recently had my MOT done here and, as always, nothing was too much trouble.

It’s excellent value for money, and if you need to stay mobile, you can book a courtesy car in advance – super convenient. The customer area is friendly and welcoming too – I sometimes bring my laptop and get some work done while I wait if it’s a quick job. Great coffee and Biscoffs are a lovely touch!

I wouldn’t go anywhere else – top-notch service from start to finish.

My Mercedes had Fault lights on.

Also Annual service and MOT at the same time.Easy to book a date, dropped the car off, very professional, Phoned me with Diagnostics result and process to repair. Completed along with the Service and MOT same day.

Amazing !

Really pleased! Easy to book online and amend if needed. Receptionist was amazing when I arrived to drop the car and pick it up. Service great ! Price very reasonable. Will definitely return for my service and MOT next year 🤩

Brilliant customer service

I bought a car from German Autocentre last week and I could not be happier. The whole process went so smoothly and everyone I dealt with was so helpful, friendly and efficient. Amazing Service, and great people to deal with

I can absolutely see why German Auto Centre has thousands of great reviews. I was referred by Mr Din at Apollo Prestige to get my Land Rover Range Rover serviced and checked over. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. I dealt with Abbie, Brett, and Steve — all of whom went above and beyond to get everything sorted and kept me fully informed about any issues they found during the health check.

The place is spotless, the team is professional, and they actually take the time to explain things clearly, which I really appreciated. Pricing was, in my opinion, more than fair for the quality of service and peace of mind they deliver.

From now on, I’ll be bringing all my cars here. It's one less stress knowing I’ve found a garage I can genuinely trust. Great work, team!

Recently bought a Kia Sportage from here. I felt welcomed as soon as i walked in to reception. The car was exactly as described re condition, service history etc. I noticed two or three things that needed reassurance (cosmetic really eg, a few scratches). "We'll sort it" they assured me. They did, and they delivered the car when promised. Cannot fault them, special mention goes to Mel in reception and Rob?Trev. First Class!

Great service, lovely staff

Took our car for a problem with the injectors, it was dropped at 8am and ready to pick up again at 3.30pm, excellent service, and great price, very efficient & all staff, particularly Matt, extremely helpful, great company to deal with

Just brilliant and so professional.

I bought my VW Sharan from German Autocentres a few months ago. I was really pleased with the openness and  honesty of the sales staff. They were a million miles from the "del boy used car salesman " type .  The whole operation was extremely polished and professional. Just when it was going so well I got the car home and was disappointed that a few features I expected to be present were missing. I took this up with the dealer expecting some sort of fob off and turning it into a fault on my part. How wrong was I. The Director, Wade, was brilliant. It transpired VW were at fault. Wade has bent over backwards to correct these issues, and done so out of his own pocket. What more can you ask for.  This organisation and the people within it are excellent and I can't recommend them highly enough.  Buy from them with confidence.

First class service of my Porsche Panamera for a fraction of the dealer quote. Courtesy car waiting although I didn’t request one, job completed sooner than I requested, all with a friendly and helpful service throughout.

EML on dash

Just come back from German Autocentre today for my EML on dash. They were really honest the current fault was the mass air flow sensor because due to a loose hose and clip. They fixed the hose clip and reset the values of the car hopefully this fixed the problem.

After requesting German auto Centre Sheffield discs…

After requesting a quotation for discs and brake pads from a German auto centre, the quote arrived a day later without issue. However, upon reviewing the pricing, it turned out to be only marginally better than what the local Mercedes dealer was offering. When discussing the matter with the dealer, they pointed out a compelling benefit: Mercedes Sheffield includes 12 months of free roadside assistance with any repair, regardless of the cost.

This highlights a significant advantage in favor of the main dealer. Not only do you get the assurance of genuine parts and the expertise of a trusted service provider, but you also receive added value at no extra cost. In this case, the combination of competitive pricing and complimentary roadside assistance makes the dealer's offer a far superior choice overall. I tried them a year ago but there was no reply perhaps that would have been better in this case.

Thank you for your response. I’m disappointed to see that you feel my feedback is unjustified, especially since I’ve made an effort to express my concerns honestly. I understand running a business is difficult, but as a customer, I also expect to be treated fairly and with respect when voicing my experience.

I did indeed leave a review based on my perception of the value offered, and I stand by my opinion. I do not believe I’ve been malicious or petty, but rather that I was giving constructive feedback based on my experience with your service. My goal was never to target your business specifically but to share my genuine perspective.

As for the comparison with other garages, I would expect each business to offer competitive pricing and value based on its own merits. My decision not to return to your garage wasn’t intended as a personal attack; it was simply a reflection of what I felt was the best option for my needs.

I respect your request not to contact your garage for future work, and I will, of course, respect that boundary. I would hope that in the future, all feedback—positive or negative—is met with an open mind, as it can help improve services for everyone.

As you can imagine running any business is challenging, so we do take feedback really seriously and will act where we feel our standards haven’t met our customers’ requirements. In this instance we feel your feedback is completely unjustified and unfair. You left us a negative review several months ago. We explained the reasoning behind our business policy at that time. We are more than surprised that you have contacted us again and have now left us another negative review. The most recent review is because, in your opinion, we didnt offer best value. I would like to ask if you contacted other garages in the area for similar quotes and left them negative reviews if they didn’t beat the offer you got from Mercedes, or are you just focusing negative feedback on our garage? It does appear to be a malicious and petty approach. It appears that you have found a service provider for your car and we would ask that, to avoid similar occurrences in the future, you did not contact our garage for any further work.
