As good as can be expected

D D hammock arrived and is great. Though there was a small hole in the mosquito net it was at a pressure point in the seem and nothing some back k-tape did not fix.

Jetboil plunger

First used plunger attachment for my jetboil on the multi day Tongariro Northern Circuit. It worked perfectly, was light and stored within the jetboil itself so was very compact.

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. LOOK ELSEWHERE

After placing the order Monday last week and hearing nothing I called the Gearshop offices after 5 working days. I was informed that the order couldn’t be fulfilled because they didn’t have the same colour dry bags I had ordered. This is not an issue as the colour is immaterial but the wait is as I am going traveling at the end of this week. The order was then sorted by the staff and I received a notification that it was on its way. Two days later I received an email saying that due to a stock error the sleeping mat I had ordered was not actually available. Nothing was mentioned about the sleeping mat when I called which was the most fundamental item of the order.
This is the 3rd order I have placed with the Gearshop and two have been very late on arriving.
This is the last time I will buy anything from this company as their entire system is a shambles. Macpac Nz have always delivered on time so I am transferring my business to them.

This is extremely disappointing as I now have a few days to scramble for the equipment required for my expedition.
EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

Thanks for your review, sorry that in this occasion your order wasn’t able to be completed in full.
I have reviewed the email chain and the order history and I have to say that your review seems a bit harsh.

Both your previous orders were dispatched promptly and delivered within fair time frames, in fact one was dispatched the same day you ordered it and delivery within a couple of days.

This most recent order has had a couple of errors
occur and you have had some positive correspondence back and fourth and a refund was provided promptly.
I also see that you have already secured an alternate mat, and had it delivered, so the suggested scramble to find a replacement isn’t actually the case.
Your suggestion that our entire system is a shambles is based on what exactly? One set of events with one order. I think this accusation is misleading and unfounded.
We handle an extremely high volume of orders a day, mostly without incident. With 95% dispatched within 48 hours.
