The modules are well constructed. The Test is difficult. It helps do divide the test in parts. for each module one test. Is's a lot of information for people are unfamiliar with research.

Great content of the course. The only thing that made the experience a little bit harder than necessary, was the time it took to read and study the content. It took at least twice as long as the estimated time.

Quite expensive for a program with that many flaws
Yesterday I completed the WMO/GCP re-certification course. I have done the main training three years ago and many of the points I'll mention apply to that one as well.
While the basis of the courses could be considered quite good, there are many flaws that make the GCP trainings a very frustrating and cumbersome experience. There are plenty of questions in the knowledge quiz/exam, but also throughout the training modules that are frustratingly confusing to the point that answer options are severely overlapping and literally both options are mentioned in the GCP manual and could be considered correct. For other questions, two distinct answer options are literally the same. Again for others, the answer key was apparently implemented wrongly, as a correct answer was considered as wrong or vice versa. Some of the questions in modules are being reused in later modules of the same training. Or the paragraphs in the texts have been copied in twice, not to mention include spelling and grammar mistakes. One question in the exam was supposed to give 2 characteristics of a study, then asking which law/directive the study falls under. However, both of the presented characteristics were the same, making it a very confusing task to try to answer.
Each of these things could be considered as nitpicky, however the multitude of these issues does get overbearing for a course that costs quite a significant amount of money.
Other examples were that the re-certification training was only available in Dutch (which is fine, it's for the Dutch certification after all), however there was just a random module that was completely in English. Furthermore, while the modules are set up in a diverse fashion, with different types of questions, polls, videos, emails, documents to download, the implementation of this is more than sloppy. I was not able to download about half the documents of the re-certification. The site would just refresh, but nothing else would happen. Additionally, there are plenty of questions in the modules and the test that were not answered either in the training texts not the documents (barring that I couldn't download so many of them). Of course the actual exam is technically open book, meaning I can use the GCP manual for guidance. But that makes me wonder why I pay for the training, if I need to look up so much information anyway.
On the upside, the interactions I have had with the sales and customer service department were pleasant and helpful.
So while there is a foundation for a program that could be intriguing and efficient, the abysmal implementation elicits more anger and frustration, rather than making this a learning experience. Please get somebody to proofread your course/trainings.

Can not recommend
The quality of the course is ok. There are a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, which is quite annoying when reading through the modules. Furthermore, my training modules did not end with a test. So basically, I paid a lot of money to read through the information and automatically received a certificate that does not even have some kind of seal on it. So I don't know if it is even acknowledged in the industry and provides any advantage for me.

However, you did not receive your certificate entirely automatically: you actively went through the interactive course material and by answering all the questions you were able to test your knowledge and learn from the feedback. We regret, that for you, a final test is missing with which you could have explicitly tested your knowledge again as a kind of wrap-up. We will discuss internally whether it's a good idea to add a knowledge test (although not every participant will thank us if we do this).
All course material you have gone through now, is required for a TransCelerate acknowledgement so your certificate is acknowledged.

GCP Essentials training
This week Marieke Meulemans, CEO of GCP Central, provided an GCP Essentials training at Leyden Labs. The GCP experience of the audience ranged from very experienced to beginners. The training was very easy for everyone to follow, due to the extensive knowledge and experience of the trainer and the enthusiastic way of presenting. All questions were answered competently. We learned a lot from it.

Very helpfull and interesting
The training Marieke gave us was very interesting and helpfull, she gave us practical tips and tools we could use. She also gave us tips for beging more confident in going against the CRAs, when they expect certain things that are not required in the GCP guidelines. it gave me more confidence to be critical in the requirements from sponsors and to be more involved in the protocol/ICF documents.

Ruimte voor verbetering
Mooi opgebouwde cursus, wel komen onderwerpen versnipperd aan bod en de informatie is (daardoor) niet altijd eenduidig. De kennisvragen zijn regelmatig wat onduidelijk en je moet bedacht zijn op instinkers - dat is jammer.
Wel handige downloads van overzichten b.v. welke wet- en regelgeving van toepassing is op verschillende types onderzoek.

Dank je wel voor je feedback en uiteraard gefeliciteerd met het behalen van je certificaat. Fijn dat je de downloads nuttig vindt. Hopelijk komen die weer snel van pas in de dagelijkse werkpraktijk. Inhoudelijk staan we altijd open voor feedback, dus mocht het nog te achterhalen zijn welke vragen je onduidelijk vond en waar je samenhang mist door versnippering, dan stellen we het op prijs als je die op de mail naar klantenservice@gcpcentral.com wilt zetten. Een groot deel van de informatie is…
Een groot deel van de informatie is voor mij als niet-medicus niet relevant. Bijvoorbeeld als het gaat om de medische trials/ medicatie onderzoeken.
De training zit wel mooi in elkaar en is afwisselend (vragen, filmpje, interview etc).

We vinden het jammer te lezen dat een groot deel van de informatie niet relevant is voor jou. Bij het ontwikkelen van het trainingsmateriaal zijn we gebonden aan de eindtermen (EMWO) die je minimaal moet weten om mee te mogen werken aan klinisch onderzoek.

Pluspunt: Overzichtelijk, goede opbouw/structuur
Minpunt: bij beantwoorden van vragen is het soms niet duidelijk wat het juiste antwoord is (bij nakijken) omdat je verschillende kleuren (wit en geel) verwarrend zijn

Wat fijn dat de Online WMO GCP training als overzichtelijk ervaren hebt.
Bij de vragen zijn alle antwoorden wit, wat jij kiest wordt geel. Na het controleren van de antwoorden veranderen sommige kleuren. De heldere kleuren (wit/geel) zijn de juiste antwoorden, grijs (grijs-wit en grijs-geel) zijn de onjuiste antwoorden. Hopelijk geeft dit wat verheldering.

Dank je wel voor je feedback en uiteraard gefeliciteerd met het behalen van je WMO GCP herregistratie.
We zien je opmerking over de uitgebreide inhoud en begrijpen deze. Maar, de WMO GCP Herregistratie training is inhoudelijk opgebouwd conform de herregistratie-eisen, die zijn gebaseerd op Eind- en Toetstermen (ETT). Deze ETT zijn opgesteld door de GCP-WMO commissie, waarin verschillende beroepsgroepen zijn vertegenwoordigd die werkzaam zijn binnen het medisch wetenschappelijk onderzoek.

Heel fijn om 4 sterren te ontvangen voor de WMO GCP Herregistratie training!
Vervelend om te horen dat sommige video's niet werkten. We hebben de ervaring dat dit kan gebeuren als je de training open laat staan en even andere dingen doet tussendoor, dan krijg je een sessie-time-out. Even opnieuw inloggen is dan het devies.
Je meldt dat je een aantal dingen zag die niet kloppen. En omdat we altijd bezig zijn om onze trainingen te verbeteren, zouden het erg op prijs stellen om te weten waar je deze inhoudelijk inconsistenties zag. Als het lukt om deze te mailen naar klantenservice@gcpcentral.com, dan gaan wij daar onmiddellijk mee aan de slag!

Gemakkelijk te lezen. De combinatie tussen platte tekst, vragen, filmpjes en interviews bijvoorbeeld vond ik prettig. Dat maakte de training prettig om te doen.
