Absolutely terrible company.

Had our flights cancelled. They wouldn’t refund me or even help: they told me they couldn’t help me as I hadn’t paid a premium package. Wouldn’t reply to emails etc. In the end had to go through my credit card company for a refund!

Avoid at all costs. After booking our flights were cancelled so applied for refund - that was two months ago and heard nothing. You can't phone them and they don't respond to any emails. Owed thousands of pounds so now going via credit card company to get our money back. Be warned Section 75 credit card protection doesn't apply to intermediaries so you're not covered if something goes wrong.

booked trip London - Manila June 2022. Received e-ticket and confirmation. However went on to Malaysia Airlines to check. Would not recognise the booking ID or Booking reference nor my surname. Now i am worried

Awful company to deal with . You can only contact them via an email form ,no phone contact is possible and they are not interested in helping or sorting your issue. They wont reissue tickets if your flight is changed, they tell you to sort it out with the airline yourself. avoid using this company at all costs. If I could give a minus star rating I would . Dreadful service and quite frankly should be shut down

Same as most reviews here... booked flight, cancelled it, have gotten the runaround for almost two months regarding my refund. Please avoid.

Contrary to many experiences I would like to say that I found the Company very efficient. While it is not possible to speak directly to customer services they responded to emails very quickly. I had to make a change to my booking that was my own fault in the first place and they made the changes very quickly without hassle. E.Tickets were forwarded promptly and overall I found that the price of flights was one of the best around!!

Flight got cancelled 25th September. Still no refund. Only contact is by email and then you have to complete a form before they respond. Customer Service is awful and they deduct £50 for the pleasure of giving you your money back!! Have checked with the airline they have done the refund. Every experience with a 3rd party travel company has been a disaster

Very Bad experience with this company, the customer Service is not existing. It is not possible to reach them and change our flights, there is no number to call them, only emails, and they only answer to every second email without giving me a solution. It has been 3 weeks that I am trying to communicate with them. Unfortunately, we will need to involve a lawyer, otherwise we are just losing a big amount of money with this company.

So I see there are a number of terrible reviews but tbh they have not been that bad. Yes the customer service is non existent, shocking infact and the the site badly designed and needs a major upheaval but ....We booked a return flight for 2 to greece, they cancelled one flight but we were able to book another 2 flights easily direct with an airline (jet2 who were brilliant bytheway). They refunded immediately the cancelled flight. Dont be frightened off, they do what they say which is provide cheap flights but its actually down to the airlines to refund in most cases not gate1.

I booked a flight for Dubai and the flight was cancelled. Gate1.co.uk NEVER contacted me to inform me of the situation. On requesting for refund, they simply REFUSED to refund. I advised you to NEVER TRAVEL Gate1.co.uk. it is a BIG SCAM

Booked flight, got money taken, they cancelled.

Trip ID 6360368, booked a flight had a confirmation, had an invoice, money taken, I made all the arrangements, next thing they cancel my ticket and refunds will be given in 10 days, the flights has the availability.

Worst company ever 11 months trying to speak to someone booked flights with them and they didn't contact the airlines supposed to be flying in 6 days time still no contact with them even though I know the flights are cancelled with the airline corendon.definatly not recommended to book anything with them got to now go through the bank to get money back for a 3 flights

CONFIRMED BOOKING WITH BDO DEBIT CARD DEBITED P189,529.00, CANCELLED DUE TO ALLEGED UNVERIFIED PAYMENT

I booked a flight for Amb Ghazi Tamiz Udd in Khan from Istanbul to Manila for July 31, 2021, on July 25, 2021. I paid thru BDO debit card and my card was debited the amount of P189,529.00 equivalent to 2,655.79 pounds. Thru email, I received confirmation of booking Trip ID 6308982, 9:45 pm, and ticket to be sent by email not later than July 29, 2021. At 10:30 pm July 25, 2021, I received another email, sending me Invoice. On July 26, 2021, I received email, cancelling booking automatically for reason payment cannot be verified, I checked if my card has been debited. Found out card has been debited the amount of P189,529.00.

Our flights were with virgin Atlantic too the us, Virgin have suspended the flights and the US are not accepting none US passport holder into the country. So what do gate1 do? They rescheduled my flight to go via Paris to the US, when I wrote to them to say I did not want that and the US are not letting UK people into their country they said it’s in their terms and conditions to reschedule flights with different airlines and that their policy is not to give a refund. A total disgrace! £2,700! So I’ve asked the credit card company to try and help recover the money Also you can’t get through to them as they never pick up the phone ! A truly awful awful company, I feel totally scammed by them!

This is a terrible agency. There is no number to call. We have paid £2500 for BA Business Class flights and Cyprus has just put UK on red list. I need to cancel my flights and get a voucher but no one is responding to our emails. STAY AWAY!!!

Follow up- if they are refusing to give you a refund please contact your bank if you paid using a credit card. Explain the lack of correspondence and no refund.
I managed a refund this way and of course gate1 were quick to then contact me . Please do take action as they need to be more accountable .

They cancelled our flight booking for an unknown reason. Nobody to contact. Their FAQ says you get a phone number with the booking confirmation (that was a lie) and now I yet to hear from them for over 3 days. I'm getting anxious that they have taken the money and run.

Avoid these guys at all costs.
