I’ve used Garden of Life probiotics for a number of years and used to love the product. I bought it in health food stores and sometimes online. It’s pricy. However, in recent weeks and months I developed terrible life changing gastric problems. I decided to stop taking the Garden of Life probiotics and the problems stopped! I believe the company was sold (to Nestle?) and the formula may have changed? Whatever happened I would no longer recommend going near this product. The online outlet also closed down. I don’t think the company stand behind their product anymore. I’m disgusted as I bought in bulk and have been left with a quantity I will no longer touch!

These pro biotics have helped me immensly, they are great at keeping your gut bacteria in check. I have been using this produxt and other suppliments from this site for over 2 years.

Skadelige indholdsstoffer.
De kan ikke fremvise dokumentation iform af 3 parts test pr. batch for eksempelvis skadelige indholdsstoffer som bly.
En forbrugertest fra norske Consumer Reports (oktober 2025) har påvist markante overskridelser af skadelige indholdsstoffer.
Garden of Life påstår, at de kvalitetstester alle batch for skadelige stoffer. Derfor bad jeg selskabet fremvise dokumentation for den konkrete batch, som jeg havde bestilt. Det kunne/ville de ikke.
Den norske test påviste at grænseværdierne for sundhedsskaddelige stoffer var overskredet med 600%. Så hvis selskabet taler sandt, og således tester alle batch, så har de også været vidende om, at de har sendt et produkt af så lav kvalitet på markedet.

What happened?
I have ordered probiotics from Garden of Life for years. Always great. Recent order got sent an empty envelope!
Emailed the company and automatically given a refund. I would have preferred being sent the probiotics I paid for. Having looked at recent reviews this seems to be a more common occurrence.
I hope the customer service side of shipments can be improved as rate the products.

Into my first month of trying these microbiome tablets.
I decided to take them for better gut health, in particular for ease of my endometriosis symptoms... I bleed all the time and experience chronic pain. Anyhow, I took a chance.....
I can report that my endometriosis bleeding is not all the time now, I've had two weeks of no bleeding (maybe one day I can experience a 28 day cycle!! 😆 )
The pain is there, I know, I have endometriosis so I'm not expecting miracles.
But, if you have what I have, just try it. Take one in the morning... and see.

I’m a bit disappointed that the microbiome products now contain fewer CFUs (reduced from 50bn to 30bn) while the number of capsules remains the same, yet the price hasn’t dropped significantly. Additionally, it seems that the Raw Vitamin Zinc is no longer available for direct purchase in their UK shop—what a shame! I really loved those products.
As for the probiotics, I would have preferred the Mood or Women’s formula, but given the lower CFU count, they feel quite expensive now. Unfortunately, I’ll have to look for alternatives elsewhere

I ordered the Microbiome Once Daily from the Garden of Life for my husband and I last month upon the recommendation of my nutritionist. I have just placed an order for another tub of each, but because I added them both separately and not through the bundle link I was charged £67 instead of £62.99..
I feel the website should add this discount for customers automatically, regardless of whether they go through the bundles link or not.
It’s a shame because all other aspects of service have been great. It’s not a huge difference in price, but we are currently taking various supplements to help aid our fertility journey and this just feels very frustrating and disappointing.

I have used Garden of life for years and I never had an issue until recently.
I have ordered zinc on their website on December 1, 2024, and today is January 10, 2025 and I still have not received my order. Their customer service is terrible. I wrote to them on numerous occasions regarding my order. They have advised me that the product is out of stock and they don't know when it will be back and can't give a date. They refused to acknowledge the issue. This truly angers me.
Update: worst service, they have returned money to my account without letting me know nor us agreeing for the product to be cancelled. So disappointing.

I’ve been a loyal customer of their products for years, but lately their service has deteriorated. I placed an order on December 3rd, and to this day, I haven’t received the products.
Customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive. Don’t waste your money—this is no longer a reliable service.

I am continually getting water infections and was told to get your remedy. I have ordered two more months worth. The only thing on your site it does not explain what the remedies actually do. i.e. I am looking for something to help my insomnia, but would like to know if the mood remedies would help.

Terrible customer service. I haven't received my order but was charged. When I contacted them to ask if there was any delay, I received an automated email confirming a refund - no one bothered to ask if I would like to be resent products and at least to say sorry for the situation.

Loyal customer here. A few months ago they changed the formula of a product without(!) changing their product page. Even currently the text & pictures still show the old product.. Yet, they ship a majorly changed product (completely altered taste, far less vitamins/minerals, different amino values,...).
You simply get a product which you did not order.
So, you'd expect the responsible thing, which is them offering a hassle-free return because they are shipping products which do NOT match what you ordered (anymore). But no, not even that...
The helpdesk spins around the issue by promising quality controls for the taste. No help there.
Disputing it on Paypal I obviously win the claim. But Garden Of Life provides an incomplete return address, needing another PayPal intervention.
This ongoing experience has been insanely awful. It reveals their terrible and inexcusable lack of minimum service.
They leave you with a product you did not order, make a hassle out of a return, and even have the audacity to make you pay shipping for their faults.
Beyond disappointing & inexcusable.

I contacted Garden of Life to request a return as the probiotics I ordered arrived in a poor condition. I was advised that I would have to cover the cost of the return & that Garden of Life could look at reimbursing the cost of the return postage. It cost me £5.15 to return the order. On Tuesday 12/11 I emailed Garden of Life requesting consideration of refunding the return postage cost, I also attached a copy of my receipt. Suddenly there was silence, I didn't receive a response. I decided to contact Garden of Life via my online account and explained the situation to them. The staff member said that they were unable to see the previous communication I had had with Garden of Life but they were happy to assist. I sent my proof of postage receipt and was advised by 2 staff members that I would receive the refund for the postage within 3-5 working days.
It has been nearly 3 weeks and I still haven't received the refund! Very disappointed by all of this. I have been a long time customer and on this occasion where the probiotics I received were in poor condition, I expected this to be resolved as I was told it would be not having to chase them for money I shouldn't have had to pay in the first place!
Update*
Garden of Life advised that they could issue my refund via PayPal or as credit to my account. I opted for a refund via Paypal and provided my email address. I waited 3-5 working days as advised, no refund has been received. I won't bother buying from you again. Why is it so hard for a company of this scale to resolve this? It is shocking. I'd hate to place another order that arrives in substandard condition which I then have to pay to return. It is not fair. You really should look into providing prepaid returns labels when customers need to return faulty/damaged items. It isn't fair at all.
