wrong item sent late - and no refund given to date

ordered a personalised hoodie for a Christmas present. The order arrived late and when opened, the hoodie was a different colour to what had been ordered. I got sent a selection box by way of an apology? I have since tried to return the item for a full refund as promised, but they have now lost my return and no money has made it back to my account. Avoid at all costs

The flip phonecase half broke away from…

The flip phonecase half broke away from the hard back within a few weeks of use. Price paid $40.
Reached out to customer service and they offered me a 20% discount to buy another one. There is a 30 day refund policy but delivery to Australia took 2 weeks, I was just outside warranty period. There is a further 6 month UK product warranty for replacement for not meeting satifactory quality and Funcases.com is not following through with this.
Poor customer service. Don't waste your money with this company.
It was a Christmas present for my grandaughter. Very disappointing.

Dreadful experience with this company

Dreadful experience with this company. Ordered daughter a case before Christmas, was sent the wrong one. Advised could exchange if not happy. Had to pay to return for exchange. Now customer services ignoring my emails and WhatsApp messages. Very disappointing and left hugely out of pocket. Avoid!!

I love my phone case

I love my phone case. I had an issue with the delivery which wasn’t there fault but they send me a new case for free and gave me a gift voucher.

Awful

Awful - i ordered a personalised photo collage case but all the photos were cropped terribly (like chopped in half). I contacted customer service for a refund but zero response. Avoid!!!!!!

I am so sorry to see that your photo case arrived with the images cropped incorrectly. When you order a personalised collage, you expect those memories to be displayed perfectly, and it is clear we failed to meet that standard on this occasion.

I also want to apologise for the delay in our communication. We are currently working through a backlog which has meant our reply times are around 4 working days, and I realise that feels like a very long time when you are waiting for a resolution.

My case is really nicely printed

My case is really nicely printed. I designed and customised the case myself. The only issue I had was it took me 2 weeks for my case to arrive. According to customer service this is due to backlog from Christmas- I don't blame them but would have recommended signage on the website somewhere to advise of the delay. I ordered a screen protector and it wouldn't even let me use my biometrics or stick down properly. Otherwise, I will be using this company again

Will never recommend this company

Will never recommend this company, I ordered a phone case on the 02-01 and it never arrived at MY door, contacted fun cases after a huge delay they said it was on its way, tracking was useless untill it was delivered, contacted them again to find out where it was delivered too but have not heard back from Helen, no replacement or refund offered just silence,
Fun cases if you see this get in touch I sent you photos of where it should have been delivered a bright red door with my name in big black letters, why ignore me.

I am so sorry to hear that your case hasn't arrived. I can see how frustrating it is to have a clear delivery point like a red door with your name on it, only for the parcel to seemingly vanish. That is incredibly disappointing.

I have searched our system for your review name but I haven't been able to locate your specific order details yet. Please be assured that we are not ignoring you; we have been experiencing a very high volume of enquiries lately, and it sounds like your messages haven't quite reached the top of Helen's queue yet.

We actually recently changed our shipping policy to send every single UK order via a fully tracked service at our own expense, specifically to prevent situations like this where the tracking data is "useless." This company needs to specify that…

This company needs to specify that their shipments can take weeks. Family company? OK. All hand printed? OK. I get that, but tell your customer it can take weeks for an order. As for made in GB! Your tracking number doesn't suggest that, unless of course it's a fake tracking number. Won't be using this company again.

Customer service and missing part

I ordered a phone case and it arrived very quickly however after looking at it the shock absorbent upgrade I had paid extra for wasn’t there there wasn’t even a lining round the camera lens part ok the case. I then contacted them about it and got put through to customer service and was told to send a photo which I did the following morning. It has now been a week and they have not taken any action. I have email multiple other times to try get confirmation but they haven’t responded

Love the phone case

Love the phone case, lovely design, and I like how it goes around the sides of the phone. Only thing is that Google pay doesn't work unless I take the case off.

Extremely disappointed, basically a scam

I’d ordered a MagSafe phone case on the 11th and heard nothing for 5 days after my order was confirmed. I then received an email saying that the MagSafe components for the case were out of stock and that they would be happy to refund that part of the order and send me a regular case. I emailed back to request a refund and had to send several more emails just to get it confirmed and it’s taken 4 days to get my refund because by the time I’d been informed that the case I had ordered was not available my money had already been taken from my account. If you do not have the item in stock, do not put it on your website for sale and then email the customer AFTER YOU HAVE THEIR MONEY saying you don’t have it. Never even got to test the quality of their cases as I was a first time customer but I can say for certainty I will never be using FunCases ever again and I recommend that anyone who is reading this to do the same

I am so sorry for the frustration this has caused. I completely understand how disappointing it is to order something, only to be told days later that it isn't available, especially as a first-time customer.

To explain how this happened, we offer our designs across thousands of different phone models, and because each case is printed to order, syncing live stock levels for every specific component can be incredibly complex. We clearly missed the mark here, and I am sorry that it took several emails to get your refund sorted. Our system unfortunately moves a ticket to the back of the queue each time a new message is added, which I realise only added to your frustration while you were waiting for a human response.

Bit sneaky and scammy

Be careful ordering from this company. After I ordered I heard nothing for days and got in touch with customer service. They advised my order was marked as 'unfulfilled', and they could not give me an estimate on when that might change. They did say that being closed over Christmas meant there was a delay- however I was contacting them on the 17th January.

I requested my order be cancelled and refunded, which they declined, but said I should return it when/if I receive it- knowing full well, you can't return personalised items. This back and forth between customer service meant I had to go through PayPal to get a refund.
The cases are cheap and there's a lot of options but the customer service was dishonest and a bit sneaky, and the process is not streamlined enough for them to be able to make a valid offer to customers- if your Christmas closing hours means it takes months for some people to receive their orders, a lot needs reevaluating.

We did experience a significant backlog following our Christmas closure, but by mid January, you rightly expected more clarity on your order status. I also want to address the advice you were given regarding returns. Suggesting you return a personalised item was a mistake on our part and I can see why that felt "sneaky" to you. It was likely a result of our customer service team being overwhelmed and providing a scripted response rather than looking at the specifics of your order.

I take your comments about our processes very seriously. We are currently putting new infrastructure in place to ensure that these holiday delays do not happen again and that our communication is much more streamlined. Fantastic company

Fantastic company, I had a problem with the case I ordered and it was dealt with in a prompt efficient manner. Great customer service, friendly staff and very happy with the outcome . Would definitely purchase from them again in the future !

Late and completely broken due to no packages

They did not process the order for the two weeks pre Xmas and did not mention at time of order. Also the delivery had non existent , the mug I ordered was broken but the piece was missing in the box. Which means it was placed in box broken

I am sorry to hear that your experience hasn't lived up to your expectations and that your mug arrived damaged.

I would like to clarify the timeline, as we certainly want to be transparent about our holiday hours. We had notices across our website and at the checkout stating that our workshop would be closed between Christmas and New Year, with dispatches resuming from the 5th of January. As your order was placed on the 28th of December, it was processed as soon as our team returned to the office.

Regarding the broken mug, I can assure you that we would never intentionally ship a damaged item. Aside from wanting you to have a perfect product, it simply wouldn't make sense for us to send something we would then have to pay to replace and reship. It is very likely that the item suffered a heavy impact during transit.

We haven't yet received an email from you regarding this, but we would love to get it sorted immediately. Please could you send a photo of the damaged mug to hello@funcases.com? As soon as we have that, we can arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you right away.

Over a month and order not arrived

UPDATE:Despite not replying to my customer service email they did resend the order after seeing my trust pilot review which given it was a postage issue was very kind. Ultimately though I ordered on the 1st or 2nd Dec and didn’t get items in time to give as gifts. When they did arrive the quality of the hoody and notebook were poor and although the design was fun and unique I wouldn’t order from them again.

ORIGINAL POST: Ordered a hoodie and notepad early Dec but didn’t arrive in time for Christmas, no response from customer service and tracking number not working. Possibly an issue with delivery but still poor customer service not to be responding. Very disappointed.

It appears your original parcel was lost within the Royal Mail network shortly after we dispatched it on the 2nd of December. While the delivery issue was out of our hands, our failure to respond to your enquiries is something I take full responsibility for. There is no excuse for poor communication, and I am sorry for the added frustration this caused.

A very disapointing experince

Extremely disapointed on how long it took, How the customer service is been, and overall everything in general.

Ordered a case back on the 5/12/25 and paid for the express option that said DELIVERY BY CHRISTMAS!

I recieved a email same day it had been sent.

it did not show up before or on Xmas eve like i thought, It showed up a Month LATE arriving on 6th January this year. (6.1.26)

The package even said "International Prioity Mail" which does not mean take as long as you want, it means delivery as fast as possible.

Upon collecting the parcel from my locker i had asked Australia Post staff to pull the tracking data for it, and they were able to work out it was sent via slow method (boat transport or other kind of method)

The fact Funcases now refuse to respond to my emails over this has now left me no choice but to leave this kind of feedback.

While my friend loved her belated xmas present and was happy, This experince was not a good experince, but rather a disapointing experince.

While i encourage others to shop at their own advisement. this is my genuine feedback for them.

The period following Black Friday saw significant global shipping disruptions, particularly between the UK and Australia. While we sent your order via an International Air Mail service with a 5 to 7 working day target, these external backlogs clearly caused an unacceptable delay. I also want to sincerely apologise for the silence you experienced from our team. We aim to be there for our customers when things go wrong, and it is clear we let you down on this occasion.
