Shambles of a company

Shambles of a company, not a good experience trying to sell my property with them. Put wrong property details online re number of years left on lease so would obviously put people off, chased up numerous times to amend, especially not happy when you’ve just spent £6000 extending the lease to sell. Little to no feedback from viewings when I actually had a viewing. And to top it off, considering I’m out of contract with them now because cancelled as soon as I could, got a call today saying what’s your position at the moment because they’ve got someone really interested could they have a look on a “one off basis? ”, so to test them I said sure, they said they’ll call them and get right back to me, guess what didn’t even call me back. Unprofessional, deceitful, useless, time wasting estate agency DO NOT USE if you want to sell, and for anything else

Never inspected the property for 2…

I own a bungalow in Exmouth with beautiful views of the sea, I used Fulfords lettings to look after it. Fulfords Exmouth never inspected the property for 2 years, tenant wrecked the place, no Branch manager or lettings managers for long periods of time, been offered £100 goodwill gesture not accepted. Please give this company a wide berth.

Where do I start

Where do I start. We bought a house that Fulfords had listed, when we went to the first viewing the estate agent didn't even know how much the house was on the market for. We put in an offer in and it got accepted. We had two phone calls a week later asking how we were getting on with purchasing a new house although we had already had an offer accepted on their listing.

I then had a phone call a couple weeks later asking how we were getting on selling our house (our house was sold before we put in an offer for our new home). They then called a week later and asked if we had sold a house at an address I've never heard of.

We finally moved into the new home purchased from them on November 14th. The sold sign is still out the front of our property, today is the 16th December. I have chased them twice and it's still not been collected. I would advise anyone to stay clear of these cowboys. It's stressful enough moving house and dealing with incompetent estate agents just makes its more difficult. On the opposite side, the estate agents that we sold our property with (Butt Estates) were absolutely brilliant. Would highly recommend them , don't waste your time with Fulfords.

Aaron Marks in Exeter branch is great

I would like to thank Aaron Marks in the Exeter branch for being such a kind, professional and helpful member of staff. My family have recently rented a property from Fulfords and couldn’t be happier. The times I have called the office, I have been greeted warmly by all staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful.. Unprofessional behaviour

Very unprofessional behaviour. Earlier, they told us the landlord had agreed with other tenants and refused our application. Later, my husband inquired about the same property from his Zoopla account and was told it was still available. When he mentioned that I had already spoken to them in the morning, they suddenly changed their answer again. This was despite the fact that we had already accepted the rent they quoted.
Overall, totally unprofessional conduct.

Plymouth Branch Unprofessional

Very unprofessional once they had our signature on the sales contract. No follow ups so buyer started haranguing me instead then pulled out because the support wasn’t there. A particularly dopey assistant left the door unlocked after a viewing and the entire office moved without telling me. A really shabby customer service

TERRIBLE COMPANY

From start to finish dealing with this Estate Agent has been an absolute nightmare. Customer service non existent. Flat had a lot of issues when we moved in which they said they were going to fix beforehand! Rude over the phone and always long response times. STAY WELL AWAY.

Seamless if you have the right person

A seamless transition to move when Aaron, the senior lettings agent, was available. Unfortunately he was on a long overdue holiday midway through the process. I was left frazzled by lack of communication and over reliance on online portals and time wasting referencing (a week). I offered to pay 6 months up front which I have, but still needed to go through references and run around (on the day of my father's funeral) to get copies of my savings and investments only to then be told I'd need to pay the 6 months anyway. It's been a distressing time, not helped by lack of communication and red tape. When Aaron returned he called, I paid, we arranged a key exchange and it was done. I like simplicity and simple business practice where you speak to people and at least have an email attaching documents rather than online portals or documents sent without any human interaction. Perhaps I'm too old school, but business should be personable. Aaron is a friendly, warm and welcoming man who gets things done easily which is exactly what you need when you're moving after the death of relative, not to have to chase people constantly.

If I could give zero stars this would…

If I could give zero stars this would be my rating.
Absolutely horrific customer services, rude, sarcastic, blunt communication from numerous staff members.
Not one staff member follows through with what they say they will do, calls and emails do not get returned, nothing gets dealt with as a tenant you are chasing these people continuously.
Several lies told by staff.
The property I have rented is in a terrible state, I have had outstanding repairs for 3 years now still not resolved.
Properties should be to a high standard when let out. This is not the case. Doors and windows are not usable, health and safety measures are not abide by!
Fulfords do not follow laws on renting properties at the correct price and do not advertise properties accurately.
By far the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with and would never use their service for rentals or purchase again.

Fulfords Plymouth - Sold Stc

Fulfords Plymouth - James Jason Ashleigh Hannah
I have just sold my home STC with them. James valued it. And did the viewings. Jason dealt with my paperwork and offers. Ashleigh and Hannah were in the background booking viewings and doing confirmations for me. They were all great. My house was on the market about 10 days. I have found them to be thorough throughout the process so far. And highly efficient. So far I can highly recommend them. I hope the high standard of care continues throughout the process until we have exchanged!

Terrible Estate Agents

This agent is rubbish at communicating with their customers. It took them a year to sell our house after they said it would sell quickly. Throughout this period, it was us who had to ring them to get the updates they promised we would get every week. If we didn't ring we heard nothing.
Also 9 times out of 10, when you do ring them it goes the the answering.machine.
The staff also need to ring / email customers back when they say they are going to
If you are thinking of using them to sell your house don't!

Absolute rubbish.

Absolute rubbish. No communication, don't call you, don't make any effort to sell your property, please just avoid there are many other agents.
I have escalated my complaint and still nothing, the whole company is a shambles.

A proactive company is a GREAT company!

Fulfords were very prompt in calling us after we filled in the initial free valuation form online.

Thank you to Joe E at Fulfords Newton Abbot for appraising our property today. Details Joe gave were thorough in terms of what Fulfords offered as a company = clear pricing, the selling procedure, in house services, which as a package could enable a smoother sale or purchase and he spoke with very high regard for the Team in working together - with a bit of friendly competition on who can capture each client and get them through the finishing line first 😆 Joe was very professional in appearance, polite, friendly, had a positive attitude and he has the gift of the gab (in a nice way), I could feel his drive for productivity and goal to not only gain business but also for personal achievement. The written valuation report was very prompt after the home visit.

If you want a professional

If you want a professional, polite, and excellent customer support then you'll use Fulfords in Tavistock to either sell your property, or indeed sell you one from there own listings.
Mica, Toby, and Tod made it very simple for us as we purchased our Duke of Bedford Cottage.
I cannot fault them,
And all 3 of them are so nice to talk to.
