Frahm is an exceptional company and it should be no surprise that they deliver excellent service and absolutely outstanding products.
The pre-order model is unusual but clearly works and it works because these guys make amazing jackets of the highest quality. The attention to detail and the drive to keep improving is incredible.
You really do get what you pay for from Frahm.
I wouldn't consider buying a jacket from anywhere else.

Recently bought by 7th item of clothing from Frahm. The quality is amazing and built to last, the individual designs and colours set you apart from the high volume manufacturers.

I am usually reluctant to post reviews until I've 'lived with' anything I've bought, as reliability, 'hardwearingness' and quality only really show up over time. I've had my Heavy Twill Deck Jacket for 18 months at least now. It's my 'go-to' jacket through the colder months and now that those are starting to creep back in, it's the Deck Jacket I'm starting to reach for. Actually, it's not a jacket. It's an old, reliable friend. Thank you!

Brilliant quality jackets(T shirts were great too).
I’ve purchased maybe 10 jackets now. Each one is great. Always feel good when you pop on, and feel comfortable immediately.
Staff always respond helpfully to a question which I think is massively important too.

I confess I now have a few FRAHM jackets and coats, lighter weight ones for nicer weather, heavier, and cosier ones for the autumn and winter, plus a proper waterproof one because I live in the UK.
In my opinion FRAHM is a real case of you get what you pay for, they are not cheap because they are not cheaply made. Nick (the chap behind FRAHM) is passionate about good fabrics, as well as very opinionated about good design. I want that, I don't want a mediocre jacket, an average jacket, I want something that I enjoy wearing and that I can be proud of when I get admiring glances or questions about it.
Another philosophy behind FRAHM is get a coat for life, not a bit of fast fashion that is out of fashion before you've worn it more than a few times, not a coat that wears out and has to be binned. A coat you want to still be wearing in years to come, and can because it is well-made from quality materials.
With FRAHM I get all these things, from a company with attitude and it's an attitude I like.

I fell for the marketing.

I've made multiple purchases from Frahm over the years. But will no longer do so

I'm a bit of a jacket nut. Have purchased far too many over the years both budget and premium brands.
Frahm likes to use the word Tough in its marketing. The truth is these jackets are no more tough than any others that I own and have shown less resiliency than some I've owned and worn for longer. Despite marketing pictures showing them being used in the great outdoors these really aren't for people who are big on their outdoor pursuits. These are fashion jackets for people who like to look that they are the outdoorsy type when they go to the pub. I’ve had buttons come off, stitching come undone, extreme piling on the lining of one item and there’s a gilet that just sheds its primaloft insulation through the outer lining (literally tufts of stuffing appear at random and having to be trimmed off). Unless you’ve purchased a specifically waterproof jacket don’t expect to stay dry in anything longer than a short light shower. Most of the designs have a generous number of pockets, but they tend to be small, you may well struggle to find a secure, easily accessible pocket for your smartphone for example. These are not jackets that will handed down the generations.

Now if you engage with Frahm over any issues you will be dealt with politely. However, you will also be gaslit that the problems are not problems to do with the jacket but rather you are using it wrong in some way or another. The faults I’ve experienced have happened with relatively few wears. None of the items have been worn daily for a prolonged period of time. Yet Frahm will tell you its wear and tear and “normal”. Oh you put keys and coins in your pocket, that’s unreasonable what did you expect? Well I expected a lot more of something that is billed as being tough. This seems to be a modus operandi for Frahm, when it goes wrong blame the customer but do so politely so that everyone thinks you are being reasonable. It’s rather telling that Frahm’s warranties last for the minimum amount of time that they are required to do so.

Sizing: It’s been inconsistent. So if you buy one Frahm product in a particular size and it fits you, you really can’t rely on that size for a future purchase of a different design. Having waited a godly amount of time for the arrival you may be left in the position of not being able to exchange it for a more suitable size. Should you raise the sizing inconsistency with Frahm be prepared to be gaslit again: maybe you’ve put on/lost weight since your last purchase? Nope I’m in my mid 50s my arms haven’t suddenly and unexpectedly shrunk. I asked for help on getting one item resized as it was so much larger than other purchases of the same size, I wasn’t even asking Frahm to do the work and was told it was impossible because of the way that design was cut. Fortunately a local seamstress sorted it out no problem.

Nick, the owner of Frahm doesn’t like Trust Pilot. In his words “I don’t think it reflects the real us” so he’s emailed out his customer base presumably because he’s hoping that the Frahm-fans will drown out the naysayers. This is Nick all over - trying to control the narrative. He will extol the virtues of his preorder selling model. It’s done for this reason, that reason: all good things. (Whisper it) I think it’s done to help out his cash flow. In fairness it’s easy to get sucked in, thinking you are in some way getting a better product because you’ve had to wait for it, that somehow the world is a little bit better because you’ve waited while Nick has had the use of your money for 12 months. You’re not. If you’re in the market for a Harrington jacket for example, there are plenty of places that will sell you one every bit as good and in the case of some brands way, way better. And you can have it next week, probably for a lower price. And you can fit your phone in a pocket. And it will last you longer.

Nick is undoubtedly a skilled marketeer, leaning into Britishness, never passing up an opportunity to use the word “chap”. Deliberately blokey in a manner to foster a sense of friendship where one doesn’t exist. But over time you start to notice the cracks. It starts to feel fake. The constant hyperbole for a range of products that are good but full short of the billing and are ultimately overpriced. The pity posts. The little untruths : for years there are has been the line about not having sales so pre order, pre order, pre order, yet they have multiple sales a year and have always done so but will call them something else: its photographic samples. It just starts to grate after a while. And that the story that Nick has been telling you is nothing more than a manipulative fantasy.

The best quality. You get what you pay for. Absolutely love their jackets, worth the wait

Frahm is different - and brilliant. From the quality of the jackets – as someone once said, 'simply the best' - to the sustainability story, the customer service and the support of a mental health charity, I'm proud to be a customer. Over and over again. Mostly, though, it's the jackets: stylish (flattering, even), cool, long-lasting (which makes them great value) and with fabulous detailing. I love the details. I love Frahm.

So to say I'm invested in Frahm is a literal and metaphorical understatement, I have bought 9 items from Frahm to date!
The reason you ask?
Before I actually pulled the trigger on my first purchase I followed the brand through their social media intently, reason being I identified with Nick on a few levels, I personally went through my own struggles with an episode where I attempted to unsuccessfuly(Thankfully!) try and take my own life, the fact that someone representing their own brand would have the guts to admit this publically I found very inspiring and gave me hope that there is another choice and THAT is not the right one, I also identified as a business owner myself and recognised the passion and care that went into the brand as well as the sacrifice and determination to believe in your product and the ethos behind it, people making comments about the price and comparing to other brands just because of their established foothold! The Jackets are the best quality and finish that I have been lucky enough to own, I have sold off/given to charity old coats that were just ok or substandard after being initially sucked in by the corporate branding but disappointed with the quality and the fit!
To summarise if you love Jackets and quality and want to buy from a brand/company/owner that cares then Frahm is the choice for me and I have never written a review this passionately for any other brand out there ever!

The trepidation I had when ordering my first FRAHM (Foreign Correspondent now Waxed Odyssey I think) because they ain’t cheap soon disappeared when I received it. The quality of everything on the jacket is of the top quality and looks special, I have yet to find another jacket with the build quality of FRAHM and the customer service is as good. I have since bought 2 more and have a Ventile on order (don’t tell her indoors 😂). Can not recommend them high enough, without doubt 5 stars.

I have bought various jackets from Frahm . The first jacket I bought was a thermal military parker and I specifically chose Frahm for its promise of selling a jacket that lasts, uses materials that can be traced and is not massed produced. The parker is like a warm solid hug and is now 5 years old and still looks and feels great. Once I got my head round the buying a jacket that then did not rock up the next day but months later I have nothing but good things to say about the company. On the back of my first experience I have bought a few other jackets, all of which I really enjoy. I am 6'4'' and the fact Frahm has sizes with extra long arms which means they fit is a major reason I have continued to buy their jackets. I get a lot of joy from the attention to detail in such things as the feel and colour of the fabrics used. I have yet to be even vaguely disappointed in a jacket and get great pleasure from wearing them. I have had no issues in returning a jacket because it did not fit. I also really like the fact that when I buy a jacket the price is not reduced a few months later in a sale.

I currently have five Frahm jackets and am waiting for my next pre-order to arrive, in Spring.
Although a little hesitant, when ordering my first, I was absolutely delighted with my Original Utility Field Jacket when it was delivered.
I now have jackets which are suitable for any occasion and time of year - out for a nice lunch, standing by the school gates when picking up the grandkids, out for a country walk, work and leisure travel - you name it I have it covered (literally) with Frahm.
I can’t remember when I wore another make of jacket, even though I haven’t got rid of them all.
My wife doesn’t understand me, of course, but I get them delivered whilst she is out and just do the ‘oh, this old thing’ line when I wear a new one. I can genuinely say that I bought it months ago - that pre-order model is great in many ways!
Oh, and customer service is amazing too - quick delivery and a personal touch which makes a huge difference. Recommend 👍🏻

Great classic style, perfect fit and high quality materials. The only issue really is choosing which colour and the answer is simple - buy a selection!
They are really very good but also addictive.

Between my own purchases and gifts I now own about 12 Frahm jackets (as well as a few shirts) and the reason for that is I think they’re excellent quality whilst being less ‘obvious’ brand wise than some other more expensive options. I don’t mind that some of my mates take the p*** for how many I have and how much they cost as I’m the one with the nicer jackets 😀. Once you get your head around the principle of not trying on in a shop (and realise they fit perfectly after a good chat with the great staff), it’s a breeze. Nick seems a great guy too and would only improve by sending me a freebie to recognise my brand commitment. Great company, great people, great jackets.

I have bought several jackets from Frahm and overall I am pleased with them. They look good and are well made. If there are issues the staff I ahem spoken to have done their very best to help me.

Hello, I’m Neil and I’m addicted to Frahm. My wife is aware of my addiction and if it wasn’t for the style, quality and robustness of Frahm she would probably be making me go cold-turkey. As it is, I have a peacoat on order due to arrive next month.

Love my Frahm Jackets (and shirts).Purchased 2 Jkts per year since 2023 and each one has been of the highest quality and perfect fit for my frame. Other brands are either to tight around my midriff or too baggy overall.Highly recommended

I'd forgotten about my pre-order for a Woodland Worker's Jacket in burgundy. It's not like I need more Frahm but the colour was too much of a temptation - and what a splendid end product it is. Solid, fits bang on in XL, practical and really smart paired with any number of outfits. I love my field jackets, Harringtons and lightweight versions of the worker's jacket, but this beauty might just be top of the (big) pile now. Well done Frahm - you never fail to impress.

Great quality and attention to detail. You can get lucky with the odd one in stock but if you don’t, they are also worth the wait and upfront investment.
