The experience felt like a scam.

The experience felt like a scam. I placed an order and didn't receive any items for two weeks (even though I selected next day delivery). I placed another order and did receive my items. Returning/exhchanging items was very confusing as well. Before the end of my first month, I couldn't figure out how to cancel my membership.I contacted the Whatsapp customer service for help, saying that I wanted to cancel my membership but I couldn't figure out the process. I didn't get a respinse and instead a few hours later was charged for an extra month. I hadn't had the clothes for a month at this point as the delivery took so long. I immediately sent the iems back (so I had them for less than a month) and yet I was still charged for an extra month, even though I contacted them telling them I wanted to cancel. I have been charged £149 for nothing esstentially and they are refusing to give me my money back. I'm incredibly unhappy with the products and the customer service. One of the dresses I ordered looked incredibly old, like it's been washed many many times. I would have felt better about the experience had I received more considerate customer service. Very dissapointing.

So glad I found this!

So glad I found this! I did the first month free trial during my 3rd trimester (in winter - needed a coat!) and rented 4 items. Loved them all, and when it was time to send them back the process was so simple. Great customer service (quick and friendly emails). I've told friends and colleagues all about it, and am looking forward to another month of feeling great in clothes that suit my bump.

A great experience using For the Creators

I’ve had a great experience using For The Creators rental service during my pregnancy.

Being able to rent beautiful, top quality maternity outfits was great, especially when I had holidays or events to go to but also for day to day outfits. It allowed me to mix up my style frequently and save so much money, buy not needing to buy new maternity clothes that I would never wear again.

Everything arrived in great condition and the process was simple and seamless.

I’d recommend For The Creators to any expecting mum who still wants to feel stylish and comfortable during pregnancy. It made such a difference for me.

What a great idea - and great brands to choose from

I was kindly offered a free month's trial membership to test 4 items - what great service! There are so many great brands to choose from (ones that I normally shop at like Beyond Nine, Nobody's Child) and I really rate the selection of items on the site. My only problem was that some items said they were available online and allowed me to place an order, but then the following day I got an email to say it was out of stock and I had to choose something else. Nonetheless the delivery was always super quick, the products were great quality and the membership model is a great idea to choose items as you like and return when you are done with them. I found this perfect for my second trimester when some of the traditional maternity clothes (with elastic waist bands) don't fit snuggly yet but my normal clothes are too tight. Would really recommend to any pregnant people out there wanting to brighten up their wardrobe if struggling to find clothes to fit and want to wear something other than leggings and joggers!

Great products and customer service!

For the Creators has been a lovely refresh to my wardrobe during pregnancy and post birth. Access to premium brands such as Beyond Nine and Hatch is a real plus! The returns and swapping process is super user friendly and the custom service is 10/10!

Highly recommended!

I used For The Creators when expecting my second child and couldn’t recommend it enough. I loved choosing items each month that were seasonal, event-appropriate, and designed to fit my changing body - it was the best form of retail therapy! Service is quick, friendly and super professional.

Really great company run by mums

Really great company run by mums! It's a fantastic way to enter circular fashion and personally it brought me new confidence at a time where my body was changing to prepare for motherhood. Thanks for all the support :)

Life Saver - get the membership!

This has saved me so much time, money and stress when trying to source maternity clothes. I wish I had done it sooner! It's so nice to know that I have options of lovely brands that I can wear throughout every stage of my pregnancy. The 'Find Your Fit' feature is really helpful and I love that I can shop by stage - including post partum!

Unclear fees and they failed to refund my returns.

I ordered £260 of clothing and underwear. Within seconds I saw that the ask you not to return underwear, so emailed to cancel the order. They said it was too late (which is hard to believe as it didn’t turn up for a while after that). they also told me over email that there would be a £5 charge for returning sale items which I objected to as that wasn’t stated on the website at the time (and I have been told isn’t lawful). They agreed not to charge me that.

So I didn’t try on most of my order when it arrived. I kept some jeans that didn’t actually fit me, as a gesture to the company (so they were not out of pocket when I was returning everything else as I know processing does cost money).

Mid December, I returned £240 worth of clothes via Royal Mail with their returns label (unable to register the returns on their site as the page was broken, and so emailed to tell them that, and what I was returning). Despite an email a week ago to ask when my refund would be processed, I have had no refund and no response to my email.

UPDATE: Since posting this, Nicole swiftly got in touch and issued a refund, which is appreciated.

Really poor experience and customer…

Really poor experience and customer care, I ordered a pair of pjs that I have not received and was left in an insecure location by Royal Mail and the customer service team have been so dismissive and unhelpful. At one stage they suggested that I had even authorised this insecure delivery and that they would do me a favour by raising the claim with Royal Mail for me even though they have the contract with them for a safe delivery. I’m still without my items and I’m being refused a refund and have not even been offered a replacement - I would recommend ordering from bigger more reputable companies like John Lewis where you know you will get great customer care when things go wrong and not with this lot!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Genuinely laughable excuse for a company. Ordered 1 dress for rent. Got told on the day it was supposed to come that it wasn't in stock, they offered to send me the size down, which I accepted as was desperate not to spend hours trawling for dresses again for a wedding this weekend. They then email back to tell me that this dress is also not in stock.

All responses are AI which is really annoying. They don't even try and hide it. They even messed up in their initial email to me telling me that my dress was not going to arrive by referring to me within the email by the wrong name?!

Honestly, what a let down. I have been really excited about being all sorted, and now I will be spending more time and money trying to sort this.

Would NEVER use again.

We’re genuinely so sorry for the stress and disappointment this caused, you trusted us with something really special and we know we let you down. The dress you ordered didn’t come back from its previous rental in time, which meant we couldn’t send it as planned and we should have pick up on that much sooner. That’s on us.

We did reach out by email on the same day we discovered the issue, offered you another piece on us for next-day delivery, and processed a refund but completely understand how frustrating and upsetting this all was.

I also want to apologise for the confusion around the AI replies, only one of the three messages you received was from our new AI system. Like many retailers, we’ve started using this to help with quick updates, but it’s still learning the ins and outs of rental and doesn’t always get it right. That’s something we’re working hard to improve and we understand how important the right communication is, sorry again.

Thank you for sharing your experience, it really does help us learn and get better. We'd still love to get something to you in time, so please come back to our email if we can help.

Terrible customer service - very hard to leave

I really wanted to like this company and I hoped that customer service would resolve my issue without needing to turn to leaving reviews. Be WARNED, very difficult to leave it if you don’t want to be paying £60 a month when there are no clothes in your size (they have sizing issues, yet continue to advertise on social media dresses that are never available) and you just want to get out. I simply wanted to purchase one dress I liked, cancel my subscription and leave but they take 24-48 hours to reply, I’ve gone around and around in an endless loop, customer services sending the wrong information so you end up stuck in an endless loop with the next payment looming to come out of your account… it’s getting bad enough it might lead me needing to contact my bank at the weekend, change my bank card or contact citizens advice to insure they stop taking my money. Not the stress you need as a pregnant Mummy so do yourself a favor and go and buy some nice maternity clothes for a fraction of the price on Vinted.

I personally had a bad experience with…

I personally had a bad experience with this company. Every time I went to their website, everything was always sold out. Low inventory issue, which means my monthly subscription was not worth it. I also cancelled my subscription and returned all my clothes a month prior to my monthly payment date and they still haven't cancelled my subscription and have charged my card without my consent. They are very slow at responding - their excuse is that they are a team of moms. I don't think this is a good excuses for neglecting to cancel my subscription after I submitted my request and charging me an additional 110 pounds. This puts undue stress on financially struggling moms who then have to spend time sorting out what to do about being overcharged.

Illegal ecommerce practices

I never received my first order in full (only 1 of the 2 items) despite chasing multiple times. I then cancelled my subscription (on 19th May) having posted back the one item I did receive and uploaded proof of return - I've just been billed £120 subscription fee... This is breaking multiple consumer laws. I was so keen to support a female led business but suggest you avoid at all costs - I suspect this company may have gone bust. If I don't receive my refund today I will report to the regulator - I've already reported to my bank
