Our tour of Ischia with Giorgio was amazing! He was so kind and knowledgeable, sharing his local insights with us at every step. We saw the whole island, and he pointed out highlights and history, and even ensured we experienced the local food, wine and espresso. Would book again in a minute!

Maria and Giorgio took us all around the beautiful Island of Ischia.. It was a Trip we will not forget Maria is so full of Information about her Home Island and Giorgio is magic behind the Wheel maneuvered us through the small street.. Our cooking class with Lilliana and Nino was absolutely fantastic! The experience took place in their charming outdoor kitchen, in their beautiful garden, that was authentic& inviting. Lilliana was warm and welcoming, and we loved learning the art of “true” Italian cooking from her. We also toured their wine cellar, where Nino shared about his winemaking process. The food and wine, of course, were absolutely delicious.

Our guide, Imma, was equally wonderful. She was personable, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the cooking process and the local area. She facilitated the experience seamlessly, helping bridge the conversation between us and our hosts with ease and warmth.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Ischia!

One of the absolute highlights of our trip! Cooking with Lilliana and Nino in their beautiful home was such a memorable experience. The food was outstanding, the setting felt authentic and full of charm, and their warmth in welcoming us made it all the more special. We feel so fortunate to have crossed paths with them.

Imma, our guide, was phenomenal—so knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely wonderful to spend time with. We only wish she could have accompanied us for the whole journey. This experience will always stand out as our top recommendation in Ischia, not just for the incredible food and setting, but for the amazing people behind it.

Imma was the best tour guide. Knowledgable, charming and engaging. She knew the island and all its wonderful places. She was with us for an Ape tour which included stopping at a winery and also arranged us to have a cooking class at a friendly families farm/ home. Can’t do better than Imma. Highly recommend.

This cooking class experience was easily the best part of our trip, and probably one of the best experiences we’ve ever had while traveling. Luisa did an excellent job translating and making us feel comfortable, and Lilliana and Nino were the most incredible hosts. We felt at home the whole time, the food was incredible, the homemade wine was amazing, and their garden was so charming. This cooking class will be something I remember for a very long time.

I’ve been lucky enough to do a lot of wonderful things in my life, and I count this experience among the absolute best of them. Simply put, it’s the best way to experience a day of Ischia with good company, great foods, and an incredible time.

We had Imma and Giovanni for our tour and they were amazing! Very knowledgeable and welcoming, we had such a fun time! We would 100% recommend.

We had 2 private tours with Loisa and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable, personable and comfortable to be with.

This was by far one of the best local experiences of all of our travels. Luisa guided us from the small village to Nino and Liliana’s home where we were able to see their garden, wine cellar, and the patio kitchen where we prepared a lovely meal with pasta, bolognese, eggplant parmigiana and tiramisu. The flavor of the fresh ingredients was the absolute best. I would do this all the time if it were closer to home. We feel so blessed to have great conversation with their family and get to be a part of their lives for a day!

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Imma and her Grandmother Liliana and the entire family was welcoming and down to earth and made the pasta making experience so much fun and unique! Thanks again will come back when we revisit Ischia

My husband and I did two trips, the first was with Luisa (on 7/17/24), where we did the volcanic Cooking Taster and Thermal Springs Activity. It was very fun, the site of the town was incredibly beautiful and it was fun watching the fresh same-day caught fish be cooked under volcanic ash. We got to spend time in thermal waters overlooking insane views. To say the events were fun would be an understatement. Luisa was awesome and gave us a great tour.

The next day, 7/18/24, we did the Trekking and Pizza Making with Benny. We loved Benny!!!!!!!!!! This was the absolute best time!!!!! We hiked up Mt. Epomeo then went to a private pizza making tour at a local family owned place. For someone who isn’t a big fan of hiking, this was definitely worth it. My husband likes to hike so I originally did it for him and all I can say is this is not something to miss. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Benny gave us such a great tour and was an amazing guide who brought such an awesome presentation to the tour. We were so impressed with him.
Both tour guides were incredible and extremely knowledgeable. We were impressed with both experiences!!!! We plan on returning and hiring them again!!!!!

Today was definitely the highlight of the trip . Lilliana and Nino were amazing hosts Their outdoor kitchen and gardens were absolutely beautiful. Imma was an amazing guide and translator - incredibly warm and friendly.
We cooked an incredible meal using all fresh ingredients as well as. had amazing wine produced by Nino

Imma is simply the BEST!

We just spent the most wonderful day today with Imma touring around the island of Ischia. Imma made the day simply perfect with her personality, her beautiful English and her wisdom about the island’s history. We were told the most interesting antidotes as the day went along and she stopped our darling tour car for a quick unscheduled stop to see a seashell museum in the side of the museum per our request.
Imma is a delightful person and we now consider her a new friend! She is a total asset to your company and made our day a memorable one!

We had an amazing time with Foraday. Learning more about Italian cuisine and tradition was an absolute pleasure with Imma and the host family. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. They loved having conversations with us while also cooking 3 different courses to the meal. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Ischia. It was the best thing we did on the island.

Ci siamo divertiti molto con Foraday. Imparare di più sulla cucina e la tradizione italiana è stato un piacere assoluto con Imma e la famiglia ospitante. Tutti erano molto accoglienti e cordiali. Gli è piaciuto molto avere conversazioni con noi mentre cucinavano anche 3 piatti diversi per il pasto. Lo consiglierei a chiunque venga a Ischia. È stata la cosa migliore che abbiamo fatto sull'isola.

We were in Italy for 13 days, this was by far the best experience of the whole trip. Louisa, our interpreter gave us a brief history of the Barano village including the traditional dance "Ndrezzata" by the local men. Then we met our hosts Lily Anna, Nino and Mary Angela. Everyone was so incredibly nice and genuine. We learned how to make several delicious "from scratch" recipes that have been passed down for generations. We witnessed the pride in growing your own food, especially as it relates to the importance of fresh ingredients. Then we all dined together. It was an AMAZING experience!! The best part is we learned that cooking together with family and those you love is the most important ingredient.

Thank you Lily Anna, Nino, Mary Angela and Louisa, We will never forget this wonderful experience.

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for Imma, who was our guide during our recent tour. From the get-go, her warm and personable approach truly stood out. Imma gave us a fabulous tour of the Castle and the entire island of Ischia. Beautiful views from the top of the castle and across the island. Imma was warm and welcoming and made our day feel like we were with a friend. A wonderful experience on a beautiful island. I highly recommend both Imma and a tour to Ischia!

My wife and I did a vintage Ape car tour and were lucky enough to have Imma and Giovanni as our guide and our driver. Imma could not have been more sweet, kind, and so knowledgeable about all of the wonderful things that make Ischia so amazing. We could have spent the entire day chatting with her! Giovanni was like a local celebrity! Almost every car we passed waved to him or vice versa. This will be a tour we will remember the rest of our lives!

We went on two tours with foraday guides to the Castello Aragonese d'Ischia and Mt. Epomeo. Both tours, one led by Victoria and the other led by Benny, were phenomenal. They were both deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of Ischia, and answered all of our questions. It was such a wonderful experience! We highly recommend them for trips in Ischia.
