Amazing feel and quality whilst reading this outstanding novel. The artworks included add to the romanticising era and general feel of the book. Great stuff all around.

I had not known you a month before I felt that you were the last man in the world whom I could ever be prevailed on to marry
One of the world’s favourite books, Pride and Prejudice has long been regarded as a classic romance. In Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy, Jane Austen created the greatest pair of sparring lovers since Shakespeare’s Beatrice and Benedick. This sparkling comedy of manners features an inimitable cast of characters including the obsequious Mr Collins, the autocratic Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Mrs Bennet, the most embarrassing mother in literature.
Awarded the Distinguished Merit by the International Jury of the 3x3 International ProShow No.11 Awards 2014.

Love this edition. Beautiful illustrations. The Balbussos are perfect for Austen. Kind of wish they had illustrated more of the Austen titles.

I love this book, and this is a beautiful version. I bought it as a gift for a friend, who was thrilled with it. I have the folio set of Jane Austen from the 1980’s and though my set is well loved and often read I think these new Austen versions are particularly good to look at. Perfect gift for book loving friends- and helpful that each novel can be purchased singly. I’m a happy customer indeed.

The illustrations in this book are incredible in that for each I know exactly the scene being depicted. This book is beloved and this edition only adds to the reasons why.

The package did arrive quite late, but probably because of the erratic postal service in our current COVID world. The book is beautiful - the paper, the illustrations, and the feel of the paper. No matter how advanced electronic readers are, there is nothing like the feel of a beautiful in one's hands. It gives one a sense that some things do carry on, and are worthy of preseving. Thank you for this beautiful book, my wife is very happy with her belated Christmas present.
