The sale staff were great but unfortunately the fitting team let them down there have not put any carpet grips down and have got glue all over the tresshold strip and it is lifting at one end
When I spoke with the fitting team there said no grips put down because its a concrete floor but we have alway had grips put down before
There said there sort the tresshold out but still have not turned up yet to put it right

John, was expectionly helpful, very knowledgeable and clear. Really able to make my decision.

10/10 service. John helped us pick the perfect carpet, taking the time to explain which carpet would best suit our needs and had a lot of patience during the process. Great salesman!

The team at the store were really helpful and found what I needed. The men who fitted the carpet were brilliant and a fantastic job done all round.

The flooring looks great & has been fitted really well by Jonathan & Johnny, who worked long & late.

We were short on a couple of boxes of tiles as someone had used the 'old sheet' with the measurements on , which is why I have only given 4 stars on this occasion but we got it done & its a professional job .

Our kitchen wasn't the easiest as we have had 2 small extensions to the original kitchen.

And thanks to Johnny for being so understanding with my cat Lily who was following him around.

John who served me was very helpful and attentive to my needs. Friendly and kind, loads of choice. Glad I came in to day.

Visited today to look for a new kitchen floor, John couldn’t have been more helpful, talking us through the pros and cons of the brands, along with the different types of installation, extremely knowledgeable.

Choice was in stock and delivery and fitting sorted for 14 days later.

Floors were lifted carefully due to
*SUSPECTED* mould due to a SMELL not a leak which you would have known if you came to view but you have not so do not falsify information you have never confirmed.

I will reiterate there was no mould nor leak and I had already agreed if assessed properly physically by somebody PRESENT I would either buy new flooring from yourselves which I had a look at in store with ****. or I would accept that there is no further action that could be taken.

Nobody cared to come and have look and assess if refitting of old flooring could be used or new flooring is necessary. So I'm unsurprised at the incorrect inference.

Instead of doubling down on your ignorance, accept fault and take responsibility for this review, and apologise. Your service is poor, and there is no excuse for it. A good company would send someone out to assess the situation before denying someone work, rather than ignoring them, leading them on, and then letting them down. And repeatedly reporting an accurate review.

If it was the case of denying the job because of a leak why did you not agree to fit the upstairs carpet. the refusal is unprofessional and ignorant.

Your branch is disappointing, and you need to work on that. I do not look for problems and have been extremely patient. This is not the first time your customer service has been subpar. If you have time to sit and respond to reviews, then you should also make time to go out and assess your paying customers' jobs individually.

Cold shoulder for weeks until finally refusing over the phone which is common place as I experienced this before from them. Constantly chasing a fitter down with each purchase. Having to call in for refitting due to mistakes and carelessness.

I recently purchased a carpet from the Crossgates store. I left a 5* review about the store. This one is for Ben, the carpet fitter. What a gentleman he was, he completed the job perfectly whilst respecting my property and furniture. All in all a first class service from start to finish. Thank you.
