I strongly advise anyone to stay away from Fleet Master Rent A Car.

Absolutely terrible company. They accepted the car without any damage, yet refused to return my security deposit within the agreed 30 days. They ignored my messages when i ask for the deposit back.

I'm clearly not the only one with this problem just read the other reviews.

Avoid this company at all costs if you don't want to risk losing your deposit.

Do not rent from this company as they are scammers.
The contract clearly states that they will return the security deposit within 29 working days. It has been four months and after multiple unsucessfull attempts of emailing, calling and WhatsApp messages it has still yet to be returned.

Don’t rent car from this rubbish…

Don’t rent car from this rubbish company. Firstly I still have 12 days in my contract. They contact me and the same thing telling me that they have a GPS issue I didn’t agree with them. I told them to send an email that they want to take a car and give me a car instead they didn’t do that what they did that they stopped my car with the GPS thing and I couldn’t move it so I told them come and take the car. They informed me that they will get it back in two hours and now it’s been two days. I didn’t get anything. I’m calling them. They’re not answering and telling me that they don’t have a card to replace. They are mentioning that I have one fine and selling and I mentioned that I will send them an email that I will pay that once I will finish my contract after man tries to call and promises. I didn’t get anything and even I mentioned that I will pay them in cash. Also if they will come and give it by today not when I will finish my contract until now I didn’t get again anything always saying there is no car and whatsoever very bad experience very bad people very bad customer service. They are just bunch of scanners who are sitting and scamming people. Please don’t go with this rental company they would rob you.

Extremely pathetic rent a car company the name is fleet master however master doesnt suit them.at all, for a matter of fact they shkuld be renamed as Conster.. overall from renting a car to get a refund it has been a nightmarish . Experience.. everyone in the office are so immersed in conning custome and delivering poor customer service.. I had to wait for 70 days to
get my deposit refund with me physically visiting infinity business center al barsha office 3 times with innumerable calls & messages.. worst experience will never recommend or avail their pathetic services ever again..Frustrated Customer.. please beware customer base

AVOID FLEET MASTER CAR RENTAL AT ALL COSTS!!!

I had requested a small MG hatchback car on WhatsApp and they sent me pictures saying it was available and had Apple CarPlay, which I needed for Waze to drive safely in Dubai. They arrived with a beaten-up Citroen C5 (4x4) claiming it had CarPlay and was the alternative. I understand car rentals can be unpredictable but this was much larger than the “small car” I had asked for. When I started driving, it didn’t have Apple CarPlay and had issues with it.

Less than 24 hours later, I contacted them on WhatsApp to request a return and a change of car. It wasn’t what I was promised and was far too big for me to drive. This is when they started ignoring me, unlike when I was initially looking to hire the car and they responded quickly. I waited over 24 hours after sending a few messages, but they continued ignoring me. Finally, I found their office on Google and drove there.

I walked into a small back office and found four men who all ignored me when I asked for help. One eventually answered but outright refused to let me return the car. We went around in circles for about 10 minutes, and he said I couldn’t give them the car back. I was initially willing to accept an alternative but after their rude behaviour and attitude, I just wanted a refund. I didn’t want to deal with them again.

Eventually, another man joined the argument and was willing to help me after I showed him the messages they had ignored me. He was persistent in trying to get me to have an alternative car, but I stood my ground and repeated that I just wanted to return the car and get a refund. They eventually took the car back, still insisting I get another one from them.

At this point, I was very stressed and frustrated. I was a woman alone, first time driving in Dubai, and felt intimidated by the staff. I just wanted to return the car and never see them again. He agreed to a refund and later contacted me on his personal WhatsApp apologising for the treatment I received from the company. He assured me the money would be back in my account on June 6th. However, I waited until June 8th and still hadn’t received a refund (the amount was over £300 and included my refundable deposit). I contacted him again and he said he’d look into it and let me know. It’s now June 18th and still nothing. Thankfully I paid for everything with my credit card company who are now investigating this awful company. I noticed they’re not on Google and I genuinely believe it’s because they know they’d have too many negative reviews. So I’m leaving mine here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I had a very disappointing experience: Fleet Master Rent A Car

I had a very disappointing experience with Fleet Master Dubai. The service quality was poor, and despite repeated follow-ups, my security deposit has still not been returned. Communication has been extremely frustrating, as calls and messages are often ignored or receive very delayed responses.

What is most disappointing is the lack of professionalism in handling customer concerns. A company should provide clear updates and honor its commitments, especially regarding refunding customer deposits. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I hope they improve their customer service, communication, and refund process so that other customers do not face the same issues.

DO NOT RENT FROM FLEET MASTER DUBAI

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY: Fleet Master Rent a Car, based in Dubai. Their website is as listed here, and they advertise on OneClickDrive.com and Renty.ae
I experienced systemic predatory commercial practices renting from them from March to April 2026. These include illegal withholding of funds, made up and inflated damage claims, contract manipulation and unquoted fees.
1. Illegal Deposit Withholding: Not returning the deposit, despite telling me, OneClickDrive and even the Dubai government (DET - consumerrights.ae) many times over more than a month that they would return the deposit. By law, the deposit is to be returned within 30 calendar days. Their contract says 30 working days (which is illegal) and even that deadline came and went. They are 25 days overdue as I write this.
2. Predatory Damage Claims: When returning the vehicle on 8 April 2026, staff used immediate and high pressure tactics to extort the full AED 4,000 excess (plus AED 450 for a police report) to cover two pre-existing minor 5cm scratches. Had the scratches occurred during my rental, they would have cost AED300-800 to repair, not AED 4,000. When I challenged the cost for approx. 5 minutes (with another staff member on speakerphone saying repeatedly I had to pay and a card machine being held in my face), they dropped the claim to AED 2,000 and continued pressuring my to pay immediately by card. When I checked my video taken when collecting the car, and saw the scratches were there when I picked the car up, they immediately dropped any requests for payment. They did not check their own records or pictures or apologise – I believe they knew the scratches were there and were hoping the pressure tactic would get me to pay.
3. Stating the Deposit Cannot Be Used for Damages: During the above exchange, I asked why they could not use my deposit. They stated that the deposit was not for damages and I had to pay the full amount. This is exactly what deposits are for – indicating again, they intended to get as much extra cash out of me by any means. Note their more than a month log avoidance of returning my deposit – hoping to get both the deposit and additional charges from me.
4. Illegal Deposit Processing: They processed my AED 1,500 security deposit as a full credit card charge/sale instead of a standard pre-authorisation hold. Again, this violates UAE law – the Dubai DET Circular No. (1) of 2024 mandating a strict 30-calendar-day return ceiling and prohibiting taking security deposits as standard purchase transactions – they should be a “Hold”.
5. Bait-and-Switch Pricing: During the booking phase, Fleet Master twice explicitly quoted an insurance excess of AED 3,500. Upon vehicle pickup, they inflated this figure to AED 4,000 on the physical printed contract.
6. Several other issues including: Adding collection fees (AED 75) not mentioned until organising collection, telling me to move from a free parking area to a paid parking area on returning the car, and then making me pay the parking (AED 30), multiple dodgy and likely illegal clauses in their contract e.g. “If the hirer is under 25 years old or if their driver’s licence is less than 6 months old, they will be responsible for the full cost of any damage caused by an accident, regardless of fault.”

I leased a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (Plate: S67653) through a marketplace platform, and there is an ongoing complaint with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) under Case Reference: CMP-26-604496. I recommend reporting similar issues on consumerrights.ae, as I did.
As of this review, they have completely blown past the legal 30 calendar days deadline, their own illegal "30 working days" timeline, and a subsequent refund date given to the government.
Protect yourself and rent elsewhere.
