This is the worst agency in my life
This is the worst agency in my life, they don’t want to work at all, especially Islington office. They lie to you, they make you wait for 4 days to solve your problem or just to take monthly payment. They start to work only if you shout at them.
I rented a flat with manager Ali, I really have no idea why is he working there. First he tried to make my rent higher (he knew I’m from Ukraine and I already have difficulties, I just moved to London because of the war) then he lied that in a flat there’s everything I need and I don’t need to buy anything. I needed to buy vacuum cleaner, iron, kettle and etc
And the day I moved in, Ali is saying that this flat is on sale and every day there gonna be viewings in my flat.
Every month I need to pay the rent over the phone end every month there are some issues in this agency. I spend 3-4 days to call them, to explain them how to take a payment, and only if I shout they start to make at least something. I regret I’ve ever met these people and worked with them!!!!!

I have dealt with Sana, Manager at Felicity J Lord in Clerkenwell, for over a year. Never had any issues and when I contact the agency, they promptly reply to emails and call me if necessary. Sana has been and continues to be professional and customer focused. I am totally happy with their service and couldn't praise Sana enough ! Thank you.

Hamzah Hussain has been very helpful to myself over the past year. He is always ready to assist whenever there is a persisting issue and he always ensures it gets resolved.
Though, I must say, I have always had a good experience with the management and staff at FJ Lord.

Extremely unprofessional
Extremely unprofessional, avoid. I viewed a place with FJLord and made an offer the same day. The next day, I received a call and written confirmation that the landlord has accepted my offer and an invitation to upload my documents and pay a holding deposit. I did this on the same day and emailed to let them know. I then had to chase them through calls and emails for a whole week to finally be told that the landlord has received a higher offer and has decided to drop me. The holding deposit is a commitment on both sides, not just the tenant and is a means to demonstrate it while the referencing process is undertaken. A landlord or an agent has no rights to accept another offer while a holding deposit has been paid. And the fact that they wasted a whole week of my time avoiding my messages is completely unacceptable.

Lily Porter in the Blackheath Village…
Lily Porter in the Blackheath Village branch has recently been dealing the the let of our property. She dealt very ably with an incident that occurred at the property, responding to the tenant’s needs promptly, keeping us informed and obtaining reasonable quotes for us to rectify the problem quickly. She has since negotiated a rent increase for us with the same tenant and we are very happy with the competent way in which Lily is dealing with our property rental and liaising with us in a timely manner.

Rude staff
The agent, Taylor Ruff made an appointment with us for 10.30 am. He sent emails and text messages confirming the appointment. My husband spent 3 hours struggling across London during a rail strike to get to the viewing only for Taylor to not show up. We made phone calls and sent messages but got no response. After waiting for more than an hour it was a 3 hour journey back. A completely wasted day. We have had no response from them to our calls and messages. No apology. I have attempted to contact the branch and/or area manager but no one will give me contact details. I was told the branch manager would call me back. She hasn't. Totally unprofessional and flat out rude.

We were very impressed with Christopher Lloyd at the Wapping branch. He had a tenant lined up at the asking rent within 5 days of making the initial contact, a tenant who has shown herself to be very reliable and trustworthy so far. Christopher dealt very speedily with all the surveys and documentation and responded almost immediately to any emails or messages. He deserves 5 stars. We did however struggle with FJL’s app and on line contacts. Docuserve was troublesome and a bit stressful.

This message goes out to all landlords dealing with the Lettings of the Felicity J Lord Shad Thames branch .
I'm also a landlord this is my experience with them .
They found me a tenant last year , that's all I wanted them to do , i manage the property myself , they insisted on collecting the rent telling me It was all part of the service .
The reason they do this is so at the end of the year they can automatically take money out of the rent withought asking you or letting you know in advance they are going to do this , without even there being anything about this fee in the Tenancy Agreement .
After a wile they agreed to give me this money back , I have it all in writing , but unfortunately the money never arrived .
This is thieving .. and to make it worst , they have lied and now won't even answer my emails.
I want an explanation to why they agreed to give me back this money and never did ! !

No maintenance and unhelpful staff
I am renting a flat from FJ Lord for the second year. Based on my experience this is probably the worst company when it comes to property management. They take weeks to respond to emails, maintenance is never done, flat was dirty when I moved in (although contract contained requirement for professional cleaning), whenever I report a maintenance issue it either gets ignored or staff are rude and don't care a bit about about anything. In addition the staff keeps changing so often and that every other discussion I have is with a new person who has no idea what is happening.
Overall I'd advice to avoid dealing with this company at all costs.
