Accident repair
My car was sent here by my insurance company for repairs to the drivers door and front wheel. All scratches and dents were removed and paint was matched precisely and a new tyre and wheel balancing carried out. They done an amazing job.

Absolutely brilliant service from Fix Auto Penzance in Cornwall! My van was repaired through an insurance claim, and the team went above and beyond. They replaced the chassis section, driver’s door, a wing, and even the whole bumper, so that everything looks like new.
The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient, always happy to answer questions and make the process easy. They even helped with a minor extra repair in a cost-effective way, showing real care for their customers. My van was ready in under two weeks, returned spotless, and the courtesy car they provided was excellent—comfortable, reliable, and made everything so convenient while my van was being fixed.
They had also gone out of their way before Christmas, giving me a temporary fix so the van could stay on the road for my holiday trip—an extra touch that really showed how thoughtful and customer-focused they are.
Professional, skilled, and genuinely caring—this team truly deserves top marks. Amazing job - thank you so much. Highly recommend!

Great service, great result!
Fix Auto recently performed a repair on my Mazda CX5. Although selected by my insurer, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The repair was to a fairly extensive area of largely superficial damage covering my offside rear door, offside rear wheel arch panel, the wheel arch itself and the alloy and tyre. Not only is the work excellent, the staff have been extremely welcoming and helpful, keeping me informed throughout the process. Picking up and delivering my car to suit my working arrangements was seamless and the entire repair was completed in about a week. It's great to have my car back home, looking great!

Disappointing
The company had my car for more than a week for what I perceived as a relatively minor repair. Plus I asked them to quote for a new wing mirror that wasn’t included in the job. They quoted me £800. However, when I asked my local garage for a quote they pointed out the mirror was modular and only two parts needed replacing, at a cost if £200.

In this case, the damage to your vehicle involved repairs to the complete side, which required a significant amount of work. The total repair time was 6 working days and, based on the labour hours involved, the work was completed more quickly and efficiently than the industry average. We understand, however, that being without your vehicle for this period is inconvenient and we regret any frustration this caused.
We also apologise for any confusion regarding the quotation for your wing mirror. Our quote was based on the cost of a complete mirror unit, as supplied by the vehicle manufacturer. Of the £800 quoted, £56.00 was for labour, with the remaining balance reflecting the manufacturer’s price for the part itself. We understand that alternative repair options may be available elsewhere and respect your decision to choose the solution that best suited you.
