very slow delivery
Standard product that took 4 days to dispatch and a week to arrive. £4.50 shipping for a £7.99 order to take week to arrive is out of kilter. Fortunately I found another supplier that delivered in two days.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear the delivery felt slow on this occasion.
I’ve had a look into your order and can see it was placed at 5.12pm on 29th June and dispatched by our warehouse at 9.12am the following morning, 30th June. As the order was placed after our 2pm cut-off, this was dispatched on the next working day.
You selected our Royal Mail 2-3 working day delivery option, so we would normally have expected delivery around 2nd July. I can see it arrived on 3rd July, so it was unfortunately a day slower than we would usually expect. I’m sorry about that, and we’ll pass this feedback on to Royal Mail.
For future orders, we do also offer an Express UPS Upgrade for urgent deliveries, which gives next working day delivery on orders placed before 2pm. We appreciate this may not always be cost-effective for a lower-value order, but I wanted to mention it in case it is useful next time.
Thank you again for your feedback, and sorry this order took a little longer than expected to arrive.

Have been using first call for a while now ever since I got back into film photography and started to develop and print my own work,customer service is very helpful and their products are very reasonably priced

Great solution for storing negatives!
I needed some transparent storage sheets for negatives. After a couple of disappointing attempts with other companies, I found Firstcall Photo.
Finally a range of storage options for negatives and also slides and photos.
The ordering was easy, there was good communication from them and an automatic link for tracking.
Why not 5 stars? I found the product range a little confusing. There were three different versions of what I needed, without an explanation of the differences. A fuller description would be useful.
However I was delighted with the product and have already ordered more sheets.

We completely agree that this range can be a little confusing. Knowing whether to choose a 14B, 12B, 13B, or one of the other options can feel like a bit of a minefield without clearer explanations. Your feedback is genuinely invaluable and has spurred me on to revamp the product descriptions across the range.
I'll be working on getting these updated over the next few days, so hopefully it will be much clearer for future customers. Thanks again for taking the time to share such helpful feedback.

A company looking after their customers...
I am a new customer to Firstcall Photo and film developing in general. I had an overall fantastic service from this company, but the real stand-out experience for me was that when making my first big order of chemicals and equipment to get started, I missed the fact that the 1L of fixer was on back-order. They notified me immediately by email and very kindly included 100ml fixer for free to get me started till my 1L comes. This kind of customer service should never be taken for granted so they have a loyal customer in me.
