Fun first aid!
Colin made the course fun and enjoyable. He encouraged everyone to take part and this made the course seem less like training and more like a productive team experience.
I would definitely love to be involved in this scenario again and would recommend to others to book this course.

Kenny was an amazing instructor
Kenny was an amazing instructor. As someone with no prior first aid training this gave me the knowledge and confidence to be able to perform CPR and confidently use a defibrillator.

Great experience
Angie was a fantastic teacher - friendly, approachable, and highly knowledgeable. Nice environment, with good parking/public transport links, snacks and hot drinks kindly provided, and good facilities in general (great toilets!). My only criticism is that it felt quite rushed, and more thought is probably needed about what the 'core' knowledge is for this course, given its brevity. You could possibly dispense with the conversations around legislation (or just summarise really briefly), and it would be great to make time for us to practice bandaging, since I'm quite sure Angie made this look much easier than it is! But it was a brilliant experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to take another St Andrew's course or recommend to others. Many thanks indeed.

Due to the short time availble on the Emergency First Aid course, It is unfortunately limited how in depth we can go on each topic.
If you were to complete a course in the future, you may find the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work or the 3-day First Aid at Work course more comprehensive.
