We bought a Firebird Boiler recently on recommendation from our heating installer .
Our problem was we didn’t have a lot of space so he suggested a slimline outside combination boiler, a new product but with tried and tested engineering so he told us.
Well we are really impressed loads of hot water it’s perfect for our situation.

Hi I don't usually write reviews.
I had a rocky start with my installation no fault of Firebird my installation engineer was bit lax to say the least.
Anyway my boiler wasn't working so I called Firebird and they agreed to send their own engineer to look at it for me.
Kenny came out and found numerous problems with the installation and took the time to explain to a laman why my boiler wouldn't work and there was nothing wrong with the machine.
Sure enough I have had the work carried out and the outside boiler is absolutely brilliant it heats my hot water so much faster than the old one.
Thank you so much Kenny and thank you Firebird for a great service and product.

As an Installer, we need to work with manufacturers that can provide stock when needed without delays
The after sales and support also needs to second to none.
Firebird score 100/100 on both fronts

We had a firebird Envirogreen oil fired boiler installed over 4 years ago. The boiler has met all our requirements in keeping our home warm. The boiler has proved to be very economical and so reliable.

Having contacted Firebird today, I had the pleasure of dealing with Jake on 'Customer Services'. As a Customer facing representative he demonstrated dedication and determination (dealing with my many questions for the duration of our call) plus perseverance and patience (which contributed to a very positive outcome). Being employed within the Aerospace Industry (Design & Manufacture) I deal with Suppliers every day and believe that Jake's Customer Relationship skills were simply outstanding. His willingness to help was supported by knowledge, contacts and business good-will (very rare qualities in a world predominantly focussed on commercial considerations).

As recommended by a friend,we chose firebird for our next boiler after having a Worcester Bosch - what a superb decision!
The installer came and told us that we had made the right choice and despite reading some of these reviews on here, we are delighted with the product. I have since recommended to several of my family members and looking forward to being lovely and warm during the winter.

We had a firebird boiler installed was recommended to go for a more expensive one so we did nearly £5000 pound.
Within 6 months we had 2 breakdowns within 3 years we have engineers out a number of 25 times the control box that has the lockout switch keeps breaking down we have spent thousands on this boiler.
These boilers please think twice look around and avoid these completely unless you are prepared to throw money away.
We run a holiday let and this has caused us no end of misery with guests with no heating or hot water.
Please avoid using these boilers.

My parents have not had the best experience with Firebird, this is mainly due to the installation rather than the boiler. However, they have put a lot of effort into rectifying the problems.

After posting my original review below, the customer service team asked me to get back in touch. They have now registered my boiler and have given a 6 month warranty on it.
Very disappointed with the service. Our boiler, installed in 2019 has stopped working.
I have contacted Firebird and they are unwilling to honour the warranty as the product was not registered within 1 month of installation. I still have all the necessary paperwork from the time and all the details of subsequent services with a registered engineer.

Although I have experienced a few problems with my boiler, the amazing customer service team, consisting of Matthew, Callum & Jake have consistently been there coming to my assistance & resolving the issues. They are professional, communicative & caring, nothing is too much for them. Thank you so much. Jean

When working the boiler is quiet and efficient. However for a 3 year old boiler it has broken down no less than 5 times. As the boiler wasn't installed by an 'official' firebird installer just a Gas Safe boiler installer all parts and labour are at my cost, running at more than the original purchase cost. Not insignificant. Internal pump, PCB, pressure loss and burner lockouts. Expect one breakdown per annum or more in my case.
Update
Latest repairs new controller and new fuel pump. Perhaps mine was built on a Friday afternoon?

When my Firebird oil boiler sprang a leak the customer service team was easy to contact and Matthew promptly sent the engineer, Kenny, to fix the problem. Kenny quickly identified the source of the problem and got my heating back on.
Good communication and a very satisfactory result.
The boiler works well and is very efficient.

I had to replace my old boiler and was advised by my friend to purchase a Firebird.
Well I couldn't be happier it's good quality unit in my kitchen, its really efficient and oil prices today I am thankful.
I definitely recommend the kitchen boiler

I would have liked to give Firebird less than 1 Star but the rating system won’t allow that. We have had nothing but problems with this boiler, another engineer on their way to fix the thing. We usually have to have the Firebird boiler repaired about every 4 months. Absolutely useless!

I am very impressed with the quality of the boiler,
It's stylish and has a much better casing than my old one.
It's very quiet and seems to have saved me some oil.

UPDATE.
Firebird phoned me within 24 hours and their engineer arrive before mid day. He was very knowledgeable - fixed the latest problem and gave me some recommendations to improve the system and avoid problems.
I accept that things go wrong - the recovery by Firebird has been excellent - exceeded my expectations.

Disaster. The worst piece of equipment I have ever purchased. We have had 8 engineer visits in three years - over and above service visits. The fittings leak. Constantly losing pressure. Refuses to fire up. Today we found another leak that has run across the floor and ruined the utility room vinyl. See the photo with plastic cups to catch continuous leaks A piece of garbage.

we have a new build property and have been here ten months. We have a firebird oil fired boiler. Had a couple of minor niggles, Matthew at firebird customer service was on the case straight away and resolved things immediately, the same day I contacted him. Absolutely brilliant service. Responded to my email within minutes. Very nice man to deal, good company to me deal with.
