We signed up with Fingercheck because they advertised a wide range of payroll features. While some of the tools are useful, many feel outdated and unnecessarily complicated.
The real issue came with fees. We were charged a $35 wire fee for payroll funding, even though we expected ACH debits. We were also told we were “on draft and cannot be moved,” which is costing us an additional $50. On top of that, after running payroll on Wednesday, we were charged $150 just to get our employees paid on time.
This was only our first payroll, and we’re already looking to move away. Hidden fees and unclear communication are the fastest ways to lose customers. Just be upfront with costs before onboarding new clients.
Awful company and they have no idea what they are doing. Stay away if you are trying to run a business. They cost us hours of time of the phone dealing with issues, they cost overdraft fees, and late filing fees. Now we are with a real payroll company, and we have to pay to refile because fingercheck didn't file our taxes correctly!
I wish I read all the bad reviews on google first because it would have saved me time and money!
