I have to add a review! Brilliant finance services! I have a car loan with Finance One - I am incredibly grateful for all who have assisted me - it’s an exciting time! They celebrate with you!
I hope all who access loans are able to enjoy the processes, to receive both professional and personable service.
Importantly, if you have any issues - speak up. It is immensely relieving to feel comfortable in the knowledge that if you experience any financial difficulties - call or email Finance One. I would like to thank Finance one for the great service and patience they provided with the entirety of my loan. At times I was going through rough patches and couldn’t meet my payments on time and I know it is stressful and frustrating but Finance One showed me kindness and patience and helped me all the way through to the end. Didn’t even bother to ask me any questions I have vehicle I could use for security I have a friend of 20+ yrs willing to be guarantor nothing just computer saying no can’t help. Everything on their website and reviews here I thought I atleast had a chance for help. But not even spoken to a human. I have some payday loans not sure why that stops them from helping me not like they’re illegal my account is a joint account. Very poor service.

Would not recommend very very high interest plus risk fee at start of loan for example I borrowed $12,000 and total loan was $22,400. Also customer service is rather pore paid out loan then has taken them weeks to update credit file and when I questioned it excuse was oh we can only do it 1 day a month

I have been with finance one for over 6 years never once have i been late or not paid my weekly payments thay were always realy great to me but now wen I needed them the most thay said no twice and for wat reason? cos there isent one even my credit score has gone up so thanks finance one for shitting on me wen I needed help the most great people great company NOT!!! Always reachable within a timely fashion. All the operators I dealt with were polite and courteous and knowledgeable. I am grateful that they gave me the loan that I needed. Was never harassed by them about payments or anything like that. Good organisation to deal with.

This company is very untrustworthy, they say alot over the phone which isn't true and then you pay more then you sign up for , do not trust this Finance one

This is my 2nd car loan through Finance One. I just can’t fault them. Their staff are amazing and willing to help. I had most of the year off with illness and they tailored a payment plan to help me out so I wouldn’t lose my car. Highly recommend this company to anyone that needs finance.

1) – Misleading T&Cs regarding fees
3) – Misleading and/or non-existent T&Cs regarding how interest is calculated and applied.
4) - Despite claiming to be a member of AFCA on their website, they use another entity which isn't a member of AFCA for the contract, so you effectively have no recourse.
I took out a commercial loan and repaid it early. Only to find you effectively have to pay most of the interest on the entire life of the loan even if you make additional repayments. There was also additional fees of nearly $2000 hidden in the loan, which I am also locked into paying the next four years’ worth of interest on , despite paying out early.
None of this is specified in the contract.
As the entity the contract is with is not a member of AFCA (different entity to what is advertised on their website – very sneaky), there is nothing you can do about it.

Fantastic company that really does work with you. Easy to deal with and very understanding of life issues. Highly recommended.
