I read the reviews before buying the phone and was honestly hesitant. But I don’t know such a great company could have bad reviews. I absolutely LOVE the phone. They keep updating their software and add amazing features. It’s completely un-hackable and is surprisingly strong. I dropped my phone without a case on the street and my IPhone screen would’ve cracked for sure and my Fig didn’t even have a scratch. I could only HIGHLY recommend the product. It’s amazing!!

I bought locally in the Brooklyn store a fig phone for my son to use in Israel for the year. I paid fully upfront for the FULL year, however after 5 months the service stopped for non payment without warning. My credit card was charged at time of purchase for the full package deal. I've been in touch with fig here in Brooklyn but they haven't done anything to help. My son has repeatedly tried reaching someone in Israel from fig but to no avail, office is always closed. I've come to realize fig service is a hoax a scam, they take money and don't pass it onto the necessary vendors and now I'm stuck. I will have to take legal action if it doesn't get fixed ASAP... FAST!!!

I got a fig phone in March, two months later the top part (screen) came of the bottom, despite it being a new EXPENSIVE phone they asked me for $80 to fix, with no choice I paid and got it fixed.
Now a mere two months later my phone shut off and will not turn on, I'm not even going into the store because they can't help much!
Extremely disappointed, don't fall for this "FIG" scam!!!!
This phone will make you feel good about yourself for ditching your smartphone, until you have an issue that needs customer service. That's when your self esteem will take a tank to the pit.
I purchased a Fig II flip phone for a whopping $375.
Not cheap for a flip phone.
It worked fine, until it didn't.
The phone reboots all by itself, after a few minutes of phone conversation.
Sometimes, the phone turns off within minutes of charging the battery.
A plug the phone in message comes up on the screen, but after plugging in the phone, the battery shows as being either entirely full or almost full.
I could deal with issues. Stuff happens.
But when trying to reach Fig for help on this issue, it an impossible task.
They don't answer phone, neither do they answer their text help line, nor did they respond to my online inquiry through their website.
They're taking advantage of people who don't want a smartphone, with the hope that they won't know how to fight them.

LOW QUALITY
I bought My phone 3/10/25 In store then great service. That's where it ends. Phone is made of very low quality. After 2-3 weeks, the touch screen becomes very slow, and other apps begin to malfunction, Incoming calls, messages and Alarms don't always work. I was okay to spend the hefty price... Until 3 weeks later... Very frustrating.

When I bought this phone
When I bought this phone, I was told that I could come in for repairs within a year, and they would gladly fix my phone. A few months later, it fell (with the case on), and the front screen stopped working. I was okay with that, but then my charging port also stopped working. Now, I have to take out the battery and charge it with a separate adapter. This means I spend the whole day juggling charging the quickly draining batteries.
I understand these things happen, but when I went into the store, they charged me an additional $50 to fix it. On top of that, the attitude I received was not helpful. When I asked about the one-year protection plan, they simply denied it. I requested to speak with the manager who was reportedly in the back, but I was told he wouldn’t be available until Wednesday.
Is it really worth buying this phone? Please send me your feedback.

The concept is amazing. If everything worked as advertised it would be a total home run!

Phone breaks easily. Waze doesn't work. Manufacturer support is less than zero stars. They are rude and condescending.

My latest fig flip phone disaster! It's only been 2 months and the phone has stopped working altogether - no ringtone, non-responsive keypad, and Waze isn't even responding.. I've reached out to customer service multiple times, but it's just automated responses every time. Frustratingly, this is my 3rd fig phone in a row and I'm done with Fig!

Glitchy and HORRIBLE customer service
The phone would be great if it wasn't so buggy. About 3 months after buying my first phone (fig flip) from them the outer screen started glitching then stopped working altogether, the main screen would glitch all the time, and the phone would randomly shut off and take hours to turn on.
I reached out to the customer service and after some haggling was able to convince them that I should get a new phone.
About three months after that the new phone started giving me it's own issues. The number 7 doesn't work, I don't get text notifications, and a couple of other smaller issues.
This time I reached out to customer service three weeks ago and at first they offered me $100 off a new phone, I told them that they only gave me defective products so far and they haven't fulfilled my original order. After that all I've received from them is different variations of this
"Welcome back! We're here and ready to assist you.
We want to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this situation has caused you. We truly appreciate your patience. Our team has taken the necessary steps, and a follow-up request with the supervisor's team has been initiated to gather the required information. Disgusting customer services, poor software.
Disgusting customer service, contacted them about a problem with the phone.
The customer service continue to ignore me for multiple weeks, and finally… they sent me pre-written messages that just said to update my phone.
they were not at ALL useful after I contact them via phone.
The software that they use “Kosher OS” is lacking a lot.. updates are almost barely useful and barely cover what needs to be updated.
Some of the “problems” that I ran into-
- Translator won’t translate
- vibration for calls stopped working
- Apps shutting down for no reason
- randomly not syncing with the SIM card
Many more ”minor” issues..
Overall I would not advise I want anyone to purchase from this company customer service sucks phone itself sucks should be better, you would expect better with the price that they are asking for.
(My phone was fully Up-to date and was in perfect condition) This all went down between the 7 months that I owned the device.
The fig phone idea is a great concept but falls Short
The fig phone idea is a great concept. A kosher phone from the start. But there are way too many problems with this phone. It's not just me. I've spoken to more than 10 people that have the same problem period most of the people I've spoken to have had to turn in their phones to get a new one more than two times. And that's all within a year. After the year is done your warranty is gone and they will no longer replace your phone.
On top of all these problems. They charge $350.00 for one of these faulty phones.
I would stay away from these phones and go with any other of the phones on the market. Even the phones that you have to get tagged are better than these.
