Making my call for help was tough, i didn't know what would happen with my job or family, but i finally realized that I wouldn't have anything if i didn't seek help. As someone in law enforcement I worked with my union to get help and do not regret it. They have an excellent shatterproof program and they were true professionals. My experience not only empowered me but changed my life for the better. If you are on the fence make that call.

My time at FHE Health was truly an eye-opener. As a newcomer seeking help for the first time, I had my reservations. But FHE Health quickly proved me wrong. The staff's unwavering commitment to my well-being and their personalized approach to treatment left me feeling valued and heard. Therapists listened to my concerns. It was a sanctuary doing a very rough time in my life. The atmosphere was supportive and safe. Something that was very important for this time in my life. I recommend this place without hesitation. Excellent program for first responders and PTSD. Staff including Dr. Sachi are amazing.

They are the professionals! my experience here was nothing short of exceptional. I can't say enough good things about the BHTs and the therapists. Also the cooks and the cleaning staff were always so nice and had a smile on their face. Without question I would recommend FHE to anyone who needs mental health assistance.

I highlight recommend FHE Health. It's meant so much to me. It's not just been a lifeline, not just a detox center, but a restart on my life. My therapist took my concerns seriously and i was provided with a pathway to a better future. Of course they can't force you to take the path. But they gave me the environment and support to start down that journey. They provide better care than anywhere I know and that's why I recommend them.

This place is a beacon for hope for those seeking help. I went to FHE for depression and trauma i've been dealing with for most of my life. I was initially hesitant, but their dedication won me over. The compassion and expertise of the staff are truly impressive. They have so many experts on their campus as well as well run groups with other patients. I left FHE with a deeper understanding of my condition and the tools i needed to lead a healthier life.

It's a detox center I wholeheartedly recommend and the follow-up of their alumni team is amazing as well. I've been to other places, but FHE is just better.

The team here went above and beyond-especially the bht team- to make sure my stay was working for me. I came in with several medical issues as well which were taken into account and they helped me see specialists for. You can tell they care and it's not just about a paycheck for them, there's something different about this place. I couldn't be more grateful for my experience. I stayed at F-H-E for over a month and it was just better. The alumni program is great, there are meetings on campus and in the end, i'm happy I choose FHE. If your insurance will cover all or some of it, i absolutely recommend giving them a call (they will be able to tell you). It's the best place I've been to and was a really important step for me in my journey. Thanks F-H-E team!

FHE Health is more than a rehab, its a place for transformation. I had some reservations at first, but they were dispelled quickly. I have been through an inpatient stay more than once and they keep changing things. The therapists listen to you and put together a program track that makes sense for you. They're dedicated to their patients and i hole heartedly recommend FHE for addiction treatment. Also - there are also mental health patients here, sometimes you do end up in the same groups, which I know some people may not like, but it doesn't feel like a staffing thing, sometimes it just makes sense for us to discuss the same problems.

My stay at FHE health was life altering. They deliver quality care that met me where i was. The team and staff members were caring, compassionate and kept the place very clean. It is a healing environment where you can lean what you need to live a more full life. I left FHE with a deeper understanding of my condition and the toolset i needed to lead a healthier life. I continue my work with the alumni team and will continue to!

Called and emailed like they said in the rebuttal they gave to my review....and they put me on hold several times and have not answered my email. This place is rapidly going downhill. Do not go here. There are other programs for first responders.

Admissions was pushy and made it seem like they were calling to "check in". I was given a false sense of what the program provides. Massage!! 5 minutes of a seated back massage in a dark group room. They refused to provide the appropriate medications and supplements and told me numerous times that I would have to talk to the doctor. No doctor available. The intake was humiliating. A skin check and urine test done in an open bathroom that was visible to people in the intake room. My room had a camera. Nobody told me that. I came out of the bathroom to get dressed, so who knows who saw my nude body. Living conditions in an old, dark hotel-under lock down. I was highly disappointed and left after 3 days.

DEFINITELY call FHE- Their team is AMAZING - especially their neuro team. Such an amazing technology! I have close experience with how well their PTSD treatment and sleep issue treatment has worked. It's a night and day difference. The group therapy sessions were also helpful in connecting with others and learning how important support groups are. I'd say to definitely make sure you're clear on insurance and payment - I never felt pressured, but billing can be complicated - they were very helpful in explaining what I needed to pay and what I should expect insurance to cover.

Admission lied in my face about what would be allowed here and what is treated there. Come here to be treated like a criminal.
Do not come here for ASD or ADHD or similar. The intake process alone is bad for that condition.

Over 100 phonecalls in one month from admissions, a lot at wildly inappropriate times. Borderline harassment.

Upon attempting to call my advocate, they did not answer and I was told that I can either check in now or leave. My Advocate was not going to be able to call me back immediately so I left to avoid being checked in to a place that has a hard time giving you the truth depending on which department you're talking to. Now I'm on the street in another state until I figure out what to do.

Admissions called me after I left and continued to harass me despite hanging up multiple times. This place really needs to take it easy on the harassment.

I used the last of my money to travel here from c t only to be lied to. Standard american healthcare, Doctors are locked behild terrible admin and program directors.

Shame on all of you and your bottom line.

the bottom line is that this place is the best. i constantly recommend fhe to people looking for detox. very comfortable rooms, they had a driver service who picked me up and was able to start detox immediately. nurses, techs, counselors all did an amazing job

I can't say how disappointed I am with this organization. My son went in for two days and then checked himself out. What? He immediately found a source of drugs and got high. Within a couple hours, we, the family who are all out of state, were able to talk our son into returning. We feared for his life! He could barely speak due to the heroin, but he was on his way back to the facility. I called ahead to let them know he was returning, but FHE (Sunlight Recovery) would not allow him to return. Even after pleading with them that this was a life or death situation, they told me to have him call in the morning and they would think about letting him return. What? Does this sound like a place that puts addicts first? Is this a place that really cares? I'm sure they will keep the several thousands of dollars in deductibles as well. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

Luckily we were able to reach out to my son's minister who went to find him, picked him up, and allowed him to sleep at his place until we were able to fly him back to his family.

I hate giving this place even one star. They almost cost my son his life. Don't be in the business pretending that you want to save lives if you are only interested in lining your pocketbook. I would recommend that anyone who reads this, finds a different place that really cares!

My partner, an elderly female struggling with anxiety and depression, stayed at FHE Health for four weeks, starting in late February. Her primary therapist and I agreed that an additional two more weeks would be helpful so she could undergo “brain mapping.” So, after paying $23,500 for four weeks, we paid another $14,500 — $10,000 for two more weeks and $4,500 for “brain mapping.”

To make a long story short, it’s been nine weeks since my partner came home, and we still don’t know the results of the “brain mapping.”

The therapist said she would discuss it with my partner before she left. She didn’t. (She discussed it briefly with me over the phone one evening, but it was too much to digest so I asked her to email me the report; she never did.) Then she said she’d discuss it with us at the discharge meeting. She didn't. (And we, overwhelmed by the process, forgot to ask.) Then, when I texted her asking about it, the therapist said she’d call to discuss it. Despite repeated texts (the therapist’s preferred means of communication), the therapist has not called with the results.

This was my partner’s final text to the therapist: “Nearly a month later I still await the results of the brain mapping. I stayed 2 extra weeks and paid $14,500 for this process and I find it unconscionable that I still have no idea of the results. Monday I met with the new psychiatrist and he asked about the brain mapping. I felt absurd that I could not explain the results.”

I contacted FHE’s national liaison, who was extremely helpful in the beginning getting my partner admitted. I explained the situation and told her we wanted our $4,500 refunded. She suggested we ask my partner's new psychiatrist whether he could get the report. I told the liaison: It's not the psychiatrist's responsibility to obtain the report; we paid FHE for "brain mapping," so it's FHE's responsibility to provide and explain the results to us.

After my complaints to the national liaison, the CEO of FHE called me. He offered to refund half the $4,500. We considered it, but finally said no. I told him: If you go to a clothing store and buy a suit, leave it for alterations, but then never receive the suit, you don't want half your money back; you want it all.

The CEO said FHE's records showed that the therapist did call my partner and discuss the "brain mapping" results. That's simply not true. My partner's phone shows no calls from the therapist or anybody else at FHE, and I have a string of texts from the therapist in which she continues to promise to call -- but never does.

As my partner said, FHE's conduct has been unconscionable. If you're considering FHE as your treatment center, then you might want to consider our experience. I don't want to say that FHE "stole" our $4,500, but it sure seems like a ripoff to us.
