Super friendly staff, always very helpful and supportive. The program is very useful for those who need to just buckle down and drill conjugating, and if you have classes everyday, the price is right too, especially if you do it with a spouse (they have a 2 for 1 deal sometimes).

Over the last 10 years, I have tried many ways to learn Spanish. Fast Conversational Spanish is the first thing that is REALLY working! A great program, with a great team of teachers, and lots of personal support. I highly recommend this program!

It’s easy to follow, it’s fun and it’s effective.

My wife and I are English speakers living in a Spanish speaking country, we tried learning Spanish, using a private tutor , local Spanish language schools and even YouTube videos. The result was that after a few years, we still could not understand when the locals spoke with us, even though we had an extensive amount of vocabulary. Having previously lived in Europe we both speak some French so language learning was not new to us.

After joining Fast Conversational Spanish, we quickly realized that this was a totally different learning concept to what we had experienced previously. The FCS program began by teaching us how to listen, to first hear the words that are being said…and later to understand. The idea being that if you do not hear most of the actual words, it would be difficult to understand the conversation, even with a vast amount of vocabulary under your belt. Imagine having earplugs or a good noise cancelling headphone on while someone talks to you..you don’t hear any words so you don’t know whats being said (unless you can read lips :) ), but if you remove the earplugs and or headphones you can now hear the words )

This made a huge difference for the both of us, we are still very new to the FCS programme but we can already see results, our neighbors and friends have been commenting on our progress.

One of the many things that we love about FCS is that we can attend live zoom classes, at our current level, everyday of the week, several times per day if we wish, we are not limited as with schools where you pay for a specified number of classes per week. The coaches are all friendly native Spanish speakers from different countries so you get the advantage of hearing the different accents and customs of the Spanish language.

We can highly recommend the FCS programme to anyone looking to learn Spanish, its certainly working for us and we are sure it will for you also.

Spanish at your own speed. What I like most of all is the flexibility and the numerous on line classes that are offered 5 days a week,with Spanish speaking teachers.

Hola. I really enjoy taking classes with Fast Conversational Spanish because there are so many opportunities to find an available class each and every day! All levels are accessible and the coaches/teachers are amazing. They are very knowledgeable about the Spanish language and how second-language learners learn. They are patient and understanding when it comes to us making errors, however, for me, it is very important that they correct my errors so that I don't fossilize them.

I signed up and paid in advance for one year of this program as a high-intermediate student--partially based on the Trust Pilot reviews. I deeply regret that and feel like I was snookered by a high pressure, one-hour sales call. The class material has many, many errors and teaches concepts that are very unorthodox and even incorrect. I have attended many programs--Instituto Cervantes, Pimsleur, and Spanish language schools in Argentina and Costa Rica. After one month of this program I was shocked at how poorly the training material--mainly Quizlet flash cards--convey important concepts--many times erroneously. The other schools I attended all had some form of accreditation and I felt confident that what I was being taught would lead me to speak, read, and write Spanish as an educated person. FCS teaches so many things that cannot be considered correct--34 verb tenses, beginning first person singular sentences always with "Yo", capitalizing names of the months and days of the week, etc. I have totally lost confidence that I can learn anything from this program and so am out the $2750 I paid for a one year program. There was no policy for refunds and when I twice requested this in writing, I was simply encouraged to try other classes. This has been a total waste of time and money for me, not to mention the disappointment of making a serious commitment to learning Spanish when this program is not for serious students.

The teachers make the experience great. I took one month off and was able to jump right back in with the help of Marilyn in Beginner Reading!

The materials and the process are well thought out — designed for effectiveness and flexibility. Effective in focusing on development of listening skills and a logical progression in the materials; flexible in the materials make useful for beginner, intermediate and advanced students.

Love the program . Can work at it as fast as you want or to your ability. Teachers are great , classes fun and get to meet so many interesting people from all over the world.

Of all the programs I've used over the last 4 years to learn to converse in Spanish, this one is by far the best. It incorporates enough of the vocabulary and grammar with conversation and listening to make it possible to start conversing successfully. It allows you to work at your own speed and get personal help at any time. So many opportunities to learn. I can't say enough good things about it.

I'm only about one month in and I can see a lot of improvement in my confidence in speaking. The course is well planned out and is very in depth. The class time and practicing with the teachers is invaluable.

I like the number and variety of available live classes. The teachers are always there to help. There is good communication between students also.

I was one of the early students to join the program. I had been taking classes during high season but would forget a lot over low season when I’d be back in Canada, so I wasn’t making much real progress. After my husband passed away, I decided to stay in Mexico permanently. Through volunteering at a local language school, I had made a small group of Mexican friends. Being invited to their parties was fun but not being able to get involved in conversations was very frustrating. However, it was also a huge incentive to learn more and just at the right time, along came Peter and Fast Conversational Spanish! It was perfect for me at that time and it has evolved into a truly excellent program since then. It is very well organized and with classes being via Zoom, you can be anywhere. Peter encourages students to work through the curriculum step by step, with heavy (and very sensible) emphasis on learning verbs. Peter & the other teachers/coaches are incredibly supportive and helpful, regardless of what level you’re at. They are all patient, interesting people with a variety of backgrounds and the classes are fun!

My Spanish has taken great leaps since I started the program. With Peter and the other coaches’ encouragement, I got over my “feeling like an idiot” anxiety (which was huge) and just started to go for it. I KNOW I make mistakes, but I have received many compliments on my pronunciation and general use of the language, even from total strangers. I’m not yet at the level of “conversational” that I would like to be but I can certainly carry on basic, even fairly lengthy conversations with people, provided that they speak slowly. I now feel comfortable going anywhere, regardless of whether English is available and I’ve visited several different towns and cities in Mexico on my own. My Mexican friends are probably now my closest friends in Mexico and that has been life-changing.
