Great communication, the online video consultation worked really well for me with clear itemised quote sent through. All work completed on day and time agreed with a reminder sent through to me day before

James was prompt and in responding to my enquiry. He provided initial recommendations via WhatsApp and followed up promptly with a clear written quote and terms. He arrived on time to inspect the consumer board and replaced a blown fuse. I was very pleased with the service. James was polite and took the time to explain what had happened and ran a full set of tests. The written report arrived quickly and the follow-up quote for the consumer-unit upgrade was clear. Professional and reassuring, thank you.

Once again James did an amazing job, this time it was for changing the fuse box and answered any questions.

I’ve used James multiple times and found him to be punctual and very professional in his approach to his work. He is competitive in his quotes and is very honest and truthful in what is required. He has recently driven 6hrs on a round trip to complete a new consumer unit installation at one of my properties because I wouldn’t trust anyone else to carry it out in a professional manner and to a high standard. Highly recommended and trusted electrician.

Had a house rewired by them in 2025 & I was very satisfied with the standard of work, they also came in under budget & finished a day early.
As recently as Friday 27/02/26' I lost 1st floor lighting. Gave James a whattsapp on Saturday & he came on Tuesday to investigate & found a loose connection in socket. So farthings electrical will do the big & more importantly the small jobs as well. 👏

Excellent All-Round Service. I read about them on the Which Website and rang Farthing Electrical at around 10am in the morning. I explained the small job I wanted done to James and he gave me a quote on the phone (backed up instantly by email) which I accepted immediately. James told me that Harry would visit us about 4.00pm that afternoon to do the job. Harry arrived as promised and did a brilliant job.
