As a Sjogrens sufferer, the discomfort caused to my eyes leaves me with very dark and puffy under eye bags.
I first asked Jay at Farleigh Medical, as a first time client (having been referred by another client) if I could improve the appearance with Tear Through hyaluronic acid fillers.
I was disappointed when he explained that I wouldn’t prove a good candidate for these and that the cosmetic effect would not be improved.
However, he suggested some mid cheek fillers, explaining that this would help to disguise the ‘dips’ below my eyes.
I was nervous but I took Jay's advice and had the treatment. I was so pleased with the natural result which has lasted for many months.
Unfortunately, I suffered a big ‘flare up’ which again further exacerbated my eye bags.
I asked Jay what could be done. Again he steered me away from the Tear Through fillers and I took his advice but he instead told me about Polynucleotide, but clearly explained that although this is a very successful treatment that quite possibly I may not get the best outcome due to my condition which is autoimmune and could be a gamble.
I was keen to try so Jay explained that 4 treatments were needed for optimum results. Understanding that the cost of the treatments would be outside my budget,generously offered the 4th as complementary.
I was hopeful at best. Unfortunately I did not get the final happy result and there was little change.
Jay was clearly disappointed for me and as another gesture of goodwill he offered me 2 further complementary treatments of Profilo. I was so taken aback and this helped to ‘soften the blow’ for me.
I was so very grateful,given that no promises were made that I would reach the final result I was hoping for.
Well I’ve had my first Profilo treatment and will be returning for my post 4 week 2nd treatment tomorrow.
Although Jay, again clearly explained that the full effects were not immediate and were likely to be seen some few weeks after the second treatment I can already see a fresher and smoother finish to my 60 year old skin.
This has given me a little boost and I am excited to see the final result of the Profilo in a few weeks so I’ll be updating further then.
I can’t thank Jay enough for his obvious professionalism but equally for his honesty, kindness and generosity.
If anyone out there is nervous of embarking on any kind of such treatments and are looking for a therapist you can trust in Jay and indeed the staff and reception team at Farleigh Medical are a first stop!
