I’m stunned by the amount of negative reviews posted. I’ve ordered from Faith Gateway numerous times and have always been pleased with my purchases and the timeliness of delivery.
I ordered 2 Charles Stanley Daily Life application bibles. What I received was shipped from China and nothing close to what I ordered. I got stamp note responses from customer service and finally a measly 10% refund. The site on Facebook is a scam.
I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. It has been over two weeks and I've not heard a word about my order. I have emailed them twice with no response. I made my payment through PayPal so I will be requesting a refund. I strongly advise not to order from this company
I ordered tons of books for Christmas on 12/19/24. I never received a tracking number or any information on the shipment. Christmas passed and on 12/30/24 I decided to contact them to see where my order was. I ordered 15 books Order FG1789930. I spoke to John who stated that it was a unusual circumstance because my order didn't drop for them to fulfill it, however it dropped enough for the money to be sucked out of my account. Well I did get a refund on the entire order which should have happened earlier. When I asked why I wasn't contacted I was told no one knew, but eventually someone would have found it and probably given me a refund. REALLY! Now I have to wait for my money from them but they sure didn't wait for my money to them. BE WARE IF YOU ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL FROM YOU, EVEN IF IT'S ONLY FOR A FEW WEEKS.
Ordered a Bible study on 12/2. Order has not shipped as of 12/12 despite website saying ships within days of order. I understand it takes longer to receive items in December but not longer to actually ship them. Will have other members of my Bible study purchase theirs elsewhere.
I order books on 4/17. Part of the order shipped on 4/19. On 4/30 rest of the books had still not shipped. I contacted them and they stated that the books were on backorder with no date of fulfillment. I asked why they hadn't already contacted to inform me, and they stated their systems are not set up for that.
Overall the product was pretty good it took a long time to get the product in the mail though much longer than it should have and in the end they ended up charging me more than they should have and then there was an extra charge put on my account when I called to get it fixed they told me that it wasn't their department
Placed an Order on a Tuesday evening. Paid almost double for the produce to have it shipped and receive it by Thursday. On Friday still nothing and when I contacted them, they said it only went out on Thursday and won't be here till at least Monday. After expressing my complete dissatisfaction, they refunded the shipping cost but only after trying to just give me a $10.00 credit on future orders. This does not help me with my study on Sunday. Very dissapointing!!
What a shame that two wonderful companies came together where you would expect great customer service, notifications and on time deliveries etc.
NOT THE WAY IT IS.........on 12/1/23 I placed an order for 2 books. Received confirmation next day. Most on line orders will send a second email with the tracking number and expected time of delivery. With this company I received NOTHING regarding when it was shipped, however, the confirmation directed me to "my order" which said "we are currently preparing your order for shipment".....4 days later I go back to "my order" and there is a USPS tracking number Now it is 14 days after I order, I get ONE book and on the packing slip it shows the other is on back order. Luckily I saw the packing slip in the package!! So I call the company to ask will they refund me, or ship when the book is in stock? The recorded msg says there is an "unusual volume of calls" and if I leave my name and phone number they will call me back....well this is day 2 and still no call back!! .what kind of a business are they running? Both Thomas Nelson and Zondervan were great to deal with...now that they have merged into one....this are AWFUL. If I don't hear from them by the end of the month I will contact PayPal to see if they will refund me for the book!!! And for sure I will never order from them and I will tell everyone I know..... not to bother with them either!!! What a shame
I love my order. I just have 1 or a couple items damaged, which happens in large shipments. I’d like a refund or more sent. Please contact me… thank you!
Placed an order on October 10th, site stated 4-8 days. It is now November 7th, and my order has yet to be received! Facebook page looks sketchy. Originally found them on that site, and there were several positive comments posted on their page in response to the advertisement. Now, there are no comments- like they were deleted or turned off entirely. Very sketchy. Will not order from them ever again.
They say usps 2 day air,& haven't even re ieved tracking yet..
Regrettably I have to give Faith Gateway only one star ⭐️ because of their level of customer service which is pretty much nonexistent. I give the quality of product and assortment offered a 5 Star. I have spent a couple hundred dollars over the course of 4 months. Whether I spent $1 or $200+ a company’s ratings are not based on product alone but just as much their customer service, which turns a one time purchase to multiple purchases AND referrals. Harpercollins PLEASE DO BETTER…you’re turning off your customer!! PAY ATTENTION
I ordered books from faithgateway.com 2/8/22. Their website states that orders will be shipped within 48hours. Order was not shipped until 2/18/22. Order received 2/22/22. Called customer at least twice and received inadequate information regarding why my order was delayed. Poor customer service. Will not order from faith gateway again.

I was then Instructed that I HAD TO Create an "Online account" JUST TO READ IT at another website = "glose.com" which I did, I WAS NOT HAPPY TO HAVE YET ANOTHER "DAMN APP" just to READ AN EBOOK ??? but? OK ???
I get through THAT HASSLE = Then, I open the BOOK ONLINE & IT'S IN JIBBERISH !!! Completely UNREADABLE ??
SO I GO TO THE APPLE Store (online) where I SHOULD HAVE GONE FIRST I NOW REALIZE & I BUY THE SAME G-DAMN Book form the SAME G-Dam Publisher ??
EXCEPT for this time it works GREAT ?? GO FIGURE !!!
SO I send an Email ASKING FOR A REFUND OF THE 2X COPY ?? & I am told NO ?? NO REFUNDS >> HOW ABOUT FO RA EBOOK I CANNOT ACCESS = SCREWED OVER NICELY !!!
