Ik heb als klant van Ziggo, F -Secure op mijn pc gedownload. Dit was de gratis versie van Ziggo safe online.
De eerste 4 dagen ging het allemaal goed.
Maar daarna sloeg het noodlot toe.
Ik kon namelijk niet op mijn browser Firefox komen, die was versteend. Alleen Google werkte een beetje. Mail kon ik niet meer openen en als toetje, werkte mijn muis niet meer.
Ik heb het programma F-Secure van mij pc gehaald en alle problemen zijn opgelost.
Kortom echte rommel die F-Secure van Ziggo.

Je moet jezelf altijd ernstig afvragen of het digitaal bewaren van je wachtwoorden tot je meest persoonlijke en belangrijkste gegevens niet ongelovelijk stom is.
Alles wat digitaal staat opgeslagen 'zwerft' ergens rond of is bij een partij in handen / beheer. Hoe goed de bedoelingen ook zijn, sla je wachtwoorden gewoon nooit digitaal op en al helemaal niet bij derden (doe het enkel op een encrypted external drive) maar geef de voorkeur aan ouderwets op een papiertje en stop dat weg op een veilige plek. Oh en nee, er breekt ook heus niet 'zomaar' brand uit waardoor je alles ineens kwijt bent.. Die kans is kleiner dan dat je digitale gegevens gestolen worden.

Delta heeft ongevraagd een update van F-secure geïnstalleerd op de Macbook van echtgenote. Na +/- 6 uur wachten Macbook geforceerd moeten herstarten, blijkt vervolgens dat F-secure alle verbindingen naar iCloud verwijderd heeft. Dit is geen beveiliging, dit is actieve inbraak.

Wat er mis is ik heb een contract total via odido met mogelijkheid voor 5 toestellen allen krijg ik hem geinstalleerd op op mijn desktop en een op mijn mobiel maar op een levotablet doet hij het niet en op mobiel van mijn vrouw krijg ik hem niet geinstalleerd na een half uur aan de telfoon gezeten kreeg iemand die ik het probleem niet duidelijk kon maken waarop hij zijn kan dan niet op tst geinstalleerd worden maar je betaald er wel voor gisteren ook gebeld maar duurde erg lang en verbrak de verbindin wel kreeg ik daarop een enquette hoe ik tevreden was en vandaag toen ik belde of het om dosier gaat

Jatkavat määräaikaista sopimusta omaehtoisesti, lähettävät laskuja vaikka olet peruuttanut tilauksen, laskutus on ulkomailla ja asiointi englanniksi. Tilauksen peruutus on tehty erittäin vaikeaksi. Yhteyttä ei saa tähän F-Secureen sitten millään. Karttakaa tätä yritystä, mikäli vain mahdollista.

F-Secure changed there software which then locked me out of there password vault.
Continually chased my single point of contact customer care, who just kept telling me to be patient. Their sales pitch tells you to trust in them and rely upon the security of using their password vault, and then they fumble the software development and lock you out. Apparently they have now sorted the problem with a hot fix. No good to me mind as out of complete frustration after having to put my life on hold, I took matters into my own hands and inadvertently created a new password which then locked me out. They now tell me it has overwritten my original passwords. I might add in my defence that there was absolutely no support, or advice about not interacting with there interface in this situation. I asked five times to escalate the issue, this was ignored. And I was just told some waffle about no mechanism to talk to back room team? They are not to be trusted and all too keen in passing the buck on to the customer. How can a software security company expect a person to not need access to there passwords for over a month. Please beware this company does not care they operate in there own little bubble, the user is just an inconvenience. My only consulation is that they say there sorry!

Ik zit al jaren bij F-Secure vanwege hun veilige wachtwoord kluis die ook makkelijk is in het gebruik. Nu blijkt plotseling dat de hele kluis met wachtwoorden, pincodes, DigiD code etc. als sneeuw voor de zon verdwenen is. Je komt daar dan als klant pas bij het gebruik vanzelf achter en als je dan eindelijk telefonisch contact hebt met F-secure blijkt er "iets" mis gegaan te zijn. Wat er misgegaan is is onduidelijk en of het weer hersteld wordt is ook onduidelijk. Je moet het als klant maar afwachten (terwijl je alles kwijt bent). Er wordt hier verder vanuit F-Secure ook niets over gecommuniceerd. Echt zwaar teleurstellend en klantonvriendelijk. Het bedrijf neemt geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid voor de gevolgen die dit voor haar klanten heeft.

GOOD The basic virus/malware protection is fine, and there are few to no unnecessary popups. The product does not noticeably slow down the average PC. Scans are pretty quick.

ILLEGAL: Always difficulty with installing the provided "key" (which they do NOT properly send as promised, and which is unnecessarily processed through yet another 3rd party company). Must send emails back to to, begging for them to activate a product I've already paid for. And, like most companies these days, F-Secure forces you into automatic renewal when you buy the product; you WILL be charged each year, unless you jump through hoops to turn off the autorenewal.
This is a violation of EU and many US state laws, but F-Secure does not care, and breaks the law.

UNACCEPTABLE/HUGE FAIL: F-Secure has NO firewall whatsoever (they purposely removed it over a decade ago, failing to listen to their upset users). You are entirely dependent on weak built-in Windows firewall if you use F-Secure. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

I made an attempt to delete my account, but it did not recognise my password so I tried to change password which was impossible. Took me to the same page so I deleted my subscription from Apple and deleted the app. There’s nothing I can do. I try to email them but the email was returned back to me. I have been with F secure since 2019 but it is completely useless.

Ich habe die Lizenz über die App meines Rechners verlängert. Ich habe eine Rechnung und eine Bestätigung erhalten, dass alle ordnungsgemäß erledigt wurde. Leider taucht in der App die Lizenz nicht auf und ist somit für mich nicht verfügbar. Also Kundendienst angerufen, Problem geschildert. Der Mitarbeiter versprach mir Hilfe. Ergebnis, jetzt ist der komplette Account gesperrt, kein Zugriff mehr möglich. Also wieder Kundendienst angechattet, wieder wurde mir eine Mail mit Hilfe versprochen. Ihr ahnt es, keine Reaktion! Ich habe jetzt schon 2 Stunden Zeit zugebracht eine von mir rechtmäßig gekaufte Lizenz zu aktivieren!!!! Was daran liebe F-Secure ist daran so schwierig? Es ist wie immer bei diesen Softwarebuden, der ehrliche Kunde ist immer der Dumme. Fazit, ich nutze privat als auch geschäftlich seit über 10 Jahren F Secure. Aber damit ist jetzt Schluss, tschüss F Secure....und auf nimmer wieder sehen. Mich habt ihr als Kunden erfolgreich vergrault.

F Secure have put a 2 step verification process on my account, which I cannot access. They will not remove it and therefore I cannot access my account or cancel my subscription. The customer service has been non-existent and they will not help in any way. I have never authorised this change to my account and am left helpless.

Terrible product ! The customer service is a joke only answer to the phone white any help . I have been customer for more than 15 years . In the last 2 years every time when a new update is caming the VPN and Banking protection is not working proprely . If I will get for free I will not continue my subscribsion .

Ich nutze F-Secure nun seit zwei Jahren auf meinen privaten Geräten und auch auf denen meiner Eltern. Im Vergleich zu meinem vorherigen Anbieter gefällt mir besonders der umfangreiche Funktionsumfang von F-Secure. Zwar nutze ich den integrierten Passwort-Manager nicht, da ich bereits einen anderen im Einsatz habe, aber ich schätze es sehr, dass man bis zu 20 Geräte mit einer Lizenz schützen kann – das ist viel mehr als bei vielen anderen Anbietern, die meist nur 1 bis maximal 10 Geräte zulassen.

Der Hauptgrund, warum ich zu F-Secure gewechselt bin, ist das Online Account Monitoring. Hier kann man deutlich mehr persönliche Daten hinterlegen und überwachen lassen als bei meinem vorherigen Anbieter – nicht nur E-Mail-Adressen und Handynummern, sondern auch Kreditkarten, Ausweise und andere wichtige Daten. Dies gibt mir ein viel besseres Gefühl von Sicherheit, da ich sofort informiert werde, falls meine Daten irgendwo kompromittiert werden.

Bis jetzt habe ich keine Probleme mit dem Produkt gehabt, daher kann ich den Support leider nicht bewerten. Für Freunde und Bekannte, die einen einfache Menüaufbau suchen, ist F-Secure sehr gut geeignet. Ich nutze es aktuell auf 10 Geräten.

Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass man nicht über eine Online-Konsole die Einstellungen der Geräte verwalten kann, sondern nur die Account-Verwaltung. Hier würde ich mir mehr Komfort und zentrale Steuerungsmöglichkeiten wünschen.

Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung und den Features von F-Secure und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

I had an issue with accessing my account tried password reset which did not rectify the situation. I contacted them late on a Sunday via remote conversation and the operator Muzakkir was brilliant it took a while as there was a tech issue but he found a solution and reset the account. Brilliant service.

Lief zwei Jahre, jetzt kommt eine Fehlermeldung der Virus-Datenbank, die sich nicht beheben lässt. Auch kein Support Seitens F-Secure. Abo wurde gekündigt.

das vpn ist eine Katastrophe geworden und es wird nicht repariert

Sinds kort ben ik van KPN overgestapt naar odido dus had ik ook geen virusbeveiliging meer. Omdat ik tevreden was over F-secure via KPN heb ik de proefversie uitgeprobeert.

Ineens kon ik allerlei sites niet meer bezoeken, oftewel F-secure bepaald voor ons wat wij wel of niet mogen zien. Niet de taak van een virusprogramma dus bye bye Fsecure.

What a horrible app. Blocks everything so your apps don't work properly. Not recommended for Mac users!
