EzyDog has been making dog gear from the Gold Coast since 1995. The business started with one product, the Cujo, the world's first shock-absorbing dog leash, built by founder Luke Hatcher from water ski rope and a shock cord in his garage. Thirty years later the range covers harnesses, leashes, collars, car restraints, lifejackets, beds, and outdoor gear. The engineering focus has not changed. Every product solves a specific problem: the Chest Plate Harness spreads load off the throat for dogs that pull; the Zero Shock leash absorbs sudden lunges so the walk stays comfortable; the DFD lifejacket keeps dogs visible and buoyant in the water. The gear is designed for Australian conditions and the people and dogs who use it here. EzyDog is family-owned, still run by the Hatcher family, and sells through independent pet specialty stores across Australia and globally.

The exchange process
I ordered the incorrect harness size for my dog, so I organised an exchange for the smaller size. Sending the harness back was easy enough, the disappointing part is that as they did not have the size/colour I'd selected in stock a refund was automatically issued. I would have rather been given the option to select a different colour, because I still need a harness, so now need to go through the purchase process again, to pay again for shipping that would have been included in the exchange process.

When the size and colour selected for an exchange is out of stock, our system automatically issues a refund so you're not left waiting on stock to arrive. Content overall
Ordering process was easy but communication could be better. Product is smaller than expected. My hound's name is short but it would've been nice to have had the velcro covered by the tag. The delivery service was slow with no communication. Content with the product.

These frisbies are amazing
These frisbies are amazing. I'm on my fourth now over a long period. They can take a beating and fly amazing, especially once wet. I've tried the round as well and also great but my kelpie loves the dogstar flyer, it travels straight and long which gives her a good chase. She loves to jump and show off catching it. Almost everyday I get asked where I got the frisbee from.

Love the harness
Love the harness, its the second one I have bought because my dog Abby has grown and needed the next size. I didn't get the name plate as I thought i could use the one on the old one, but you've changed to Velcro, now I wish I had.

Great quality and so convenient
Really happy with the EzyDog Road Runner Leash. The quality is excellent and it feels really well made. My favourite feature is being able to use it hands-free around my waist or over my shoulder, which makes walking so much easier and more convenient. It’s comfortable to use and I love having the flexibility to switch between hands-free and a regular lead. A really practical, good-quality leash that I’m very happy with.

I had some name tags made for my puppy…
I had some name tags made for my puppy harness. They look great on her and I’m very happy with the harness and name tags. Also postage was very fast. Would definitely purchase ezydog products again
