After years of suffering post pregnancy (son now 38 years old!) I discovered Exroid. Totally supportive and professional company from first contact 'till amazing one treatment result. Thank you Exroid.

This treatment is available to the majority, because even though it is private, it is available on zero interest finance, which for me made all the difference.

There are CQC recommended clinics all around the UK.

I had a Dr who is a leader in the field of research for the treatment of hemorroids, who made me feel very comfortable and relaxed for the duration of the 30 minute consultation, and the 30 minute treatment.
This treatment has individual results depending on the individual patients set of symptoms, how their body responds, and whether they have a positive calm mental attitude, so some may need further following lots of treatment.

I was in the 10% minority and did experience a high level of pain during and for four hours after the treatment, but I had no other after effects. The day after the treatment I was utterly exhausted and slept most of the day, which was a good thing because that gave my body an opportunity to heal.
I returned to work the afternoon of the next day, back to a physical job of cleaning.
After a week I was symptom free, and the symptoms never returned, so I did not need any further treatment.

Patients need to consider how much you are willing to afford.
I had two treatments.
After the first treatment, there was a rush to book me in for a second one. This was still only moderately successful, so I was told a third would be needed - and possibly more. At this stage I chose against proceding due to the escalating cost, and several more treatments were potentially required.
I did try to negotiate a reduced rate, and the reply was: "I bet you don't put on your review that you asked for a freebie." Rather unpleasant.
Consequently, I proceeded with my NHS booking and, on the positive side, my eXroid treatments had reduced the haemorrhoids' size enough that I was able to avoid having a full -ectomy and was finally treated with banding.

I absolutely recommend this treatment. Compared to the alternatives it’s well worth the cost. I needed a follow up treatment to resolve my symptoms but I know most people only need one treatment.
The procedure was slightly uncomfortable but definitely not painful. And after the treatment I felt fine to go straight back to normal with my activities.
I will also say they are an excellent company to deal with , very honest & straight forward & you genuinely feel they have your best interest at heart

I never leave reviews, but this treatment has had such a positive impact on I felt like I had to share my experience. I have been suffering for nearly twenty years and over the last few years it really hasn't been fun. Painful, bleeding and having to throw away boxer short on a weekly basis. I went to my GP about 5 years ago because the amount of bleeding during nearly every visit to the toilet was concerning, the GP didn't seem interested and didn't seem to really believe me. He suggested I carried on with the over-the-counter treatments. At that time, I did some research about other NHS treatments but they all sounded like big operations and based on my GP's response I thought I must be overreacting so I just carried on. 5 years past and the thought of going to the toilet would fill me with fear and could ruin the day. After very bowl moment I would have multiple prolapsed haemorrhoids, I have had them for several years and found it I applied pile cream and sat in a certain position they would go back in (probably too much information). Anyway, enough was enough and I started to research the NHS treatments again and that’s when I found eXroid, having someone rummaging around in places I really didn’t want things going was not high on my list of things to do, but something had to change so I booked into Harley Street, Mr Ayo Oshowo.
I was nervous and the staff did a good job of trying to keep my mind off what was going on, the procedure was not pain free but it was manageable, there was no sharp pains but you could feel something going on, after the treatment there was no pain but I was a little uncomfortable which lasted for a few hours. I had 3 grade 4 prolapsed internal haemorrhoids.
Four weeks past, the bleeding had completely stopped but I saw very little improvement. Bowel movement was a little bit less painful but I still had prolapsing haemorrhoids, they felt a bit smaller but nothing dramatic.
I was pretty disheartened, I spoke to the eXroid team and due to the size of my haemorrhoids they said another treatment might be needed (to be fair I was also told this during my first appointment and had read similar online). I was in too minds, it felt like I had not seen enough improvement to justify spending even more money, but I also felt like I should give it a fair go. I booked a follow up treatment, again at Harley Street, Mr Ayo Oshowo.
The experience was the same as the first treatment, it was uncomfortable but manageable and the team did a good job of talking to me about anything other than what was going on. This time they found 1 grade 4 and 2 grade 2 haemorrhoids.
A week after my second treatment and it happened, I went to the toilet and no signs of any haemorrhoids! I honestly could not believe it, I thought it was a one off but no, it's has now been just over 4 weeks since my 2nd treatment and have not had any prolapsing haemorrhoids!
I have lived with haemorrhoids for so long and they have caused me so much pain and stress, I can honestly say this treatment has changed my life. I wish I did this years ago, Thank you eXroid

My haemorrhoids had become so bad that I would fill several toilet bowls with blood during each time I passed a stool. In the end I was unable to stem the blood and ended up in A&E where I bled all over the chair I was sitting on waiting to be seen. I’d had a general anaesthetic some years earlier to undergo radio frequency ablation. I suffered almost four weeks of discomfort following the procedure. The surgeon told me he had not been able to get to one of the haemorrhoids and I’d likely have to return to be retreated. That was going to cost me £2000 on top of the £2000 I’d already paid. The problem was relieved for a while by the procedure but quickly deteriorated. With Exroid the procedure lasted around 20 minutes. I felt minimal discomfort during it. The surgeon, Mr Ahbi Sharma, told be that I had one “monster” grade 3 haemorrhoid as well as one smallish grade 3 and one grade 2. After the procedure I had no discomfort and it was obvious from my first toilet visit that there had been a transformation. There was no evidence of any haemorrhoids on the surface of my back passage and no blood in the toilet. Now over four months since the procedure and the tremendous improvement has remained. I can honestly say that I am delighted with the result. It has transformed the way I now live my life.

This treatment is a complete waste of time and money. I was told on first consultation (Oxford) that I had 2 x grade 2 internal and 1 x grad 3 internal. The doctor was happy to treat but expressed that the treatment doesn’t always work (disclaimer I think). I had signed up to a follow up treatment which I’m paying for in monthly instalments (wish I never entertained).
After first treatment I had excessive bleeding. I had a follow up call 4 weeks later after contacting the head office first and was told to carry on with treatments and sometime it can take upto 4 or five treatments to cure grade 3 haemorrhoids. I was also told a story by the caller who is the original founder of the company that one patient had to have 10 treatments but was cured in the end.
Long story short I’ve had 3 treatments and I would honestly say my situation is worse than it’s ever been.
My third treatment was carried out at a different surgery (Eastleigh), here the new doctor gave a different report of my symptoms and said that my worse haemorrhoid was external??? Needless to say this was another waste of time.
So to summarise, the procedure is very uncomfortable and hard to endure.
The assessments are poor and communication within the company is poor.
This treatment is a money drainer so please don’t invest too much interest.
They are confident they can solve you problems but can’t back it up.
I will be returning to the NHS.

After suffering with haemorrhoids for quite some time I decided enough was enough and I researched what treatment was available other than painful surgery.. I came across eXroid, watched the videos and read all the information surrounding the treatment. I then decided to book in to give it a go.. I’m so glad I did!
Communication from the company was excellent, very informative..
I won’t lie, the actual procedure was very uncomfortable, but I was reassured throughout by the doctor .. I was extremely relieved when it was finally over!
I am now haemorrhoid free and couldn’t be happier!
Follow up from the team has been super, I’ve received 2 phone calls checking on my progress..
All in all I would highly recommend this treatment - it’s definitely worked for me!

I am in a wheelchair due to MS, and for the last couple of years have found it extremely painful sitting on my bottom confined to the chair. after having looked online to find out the various options available my husband came across eXroid and suggested it might be worth a try as it sounded slightly less invasive than going down the NHS operation route.
after several phone calls with the eXroid representative who was understanding and informative I made my first appointment at the Manchester clinic.
before getting out of the car, I said to my husband that I really hoped I wasn’t uncomfortable on the journey back home. Immediately after the treatment I felt relief.
unfortunately, I required a follow-up procedure, which, because I live in the north-east of Scotland, and I didn’t want to drive the long journey to Manchester again, was arranged to be undergone in the Glasgow clinic.
Again the procedure was not uncomfortable and the surgeon, Tanvir Hussain, was very approachable and friendly, explaining in detail everything that was happening as it was going along.
he also explained that I had to be proactive and take regular stool softeners, which had never occurred to me before.
I was really impressed with his bedside manner, so to speak! I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Immediately afterwards, on the journey home I was comfortable with no pain.
I haven’t had any pain since , and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this procedure to anyone

The owner of the company has given me a couple of phone calls, and each time he was pleasant and understanding and couldn’t make me feel better about my, let’s face it, quite embarrassing situation!

After suffering so many years, I decided to go ahead with this treatment as it was non invasive. I had 3 grade 3 haemorrhoids that given me constant discomfort and regular bleeding.
I have seen an immediate improvement after the first treatment but much less frequent bleeding started 4 weeks after my treatment. I had my second treatment 5 weeks ago and so far it is better. Wish I had it done sooner.

I Was a bit dubious about the procedure but having given up on other treatments thought to give it a try. I couldn”t have been happier with the results. After 2 days the near constant bleeding that had been afflicting me for years had stopped and now, nearly 2 months later, i am symptom free. It”s not the most comfortable of procedures but in my experience it works. I am really grateful to extoid and their Dr for helping to sort out this problem

Having suffered for 50 years on and off after the birth of a pretty big baby, I had resigned myself to never being free of piles. I just couldn’t face the thought of the NHS options and had friends who had horrific experiences with banding and operations. Then I read an article in the paper about eXroid, I kept it for such a long time before looking at the online info and watching the videos. I found these really informative and phoned to enquire. I was given excellent advice and decided to go ahead in the Glasgow clinic with Susana Fernandez-Diaz. I was looked after very well from start to finish by everyone, I found the experience pretty uncomfortable but tolerable. Today, 4 weeks later I would say it has been a great success as the problem appears to be resolved. However if in the future I feel I need a 2nd treatment, I would consider it money well spent indeed.

Being in a medical profession myself, I found my consultant Susana Fernandez-Diaz absolutely amazing, put me at ease straight away, in fact, we had some great banter, while the treatment was being administered, the staff at the facility in Winchester are also amazing, I cannot fault the service or the treatment. Unfortunately, I do need to go back for a third treatment but things are getting better, I do also have to say that it’s a breath of fresh air when you phone up to make an appointment and the company owner actually picks the phone up we have a great conversation on the telephone I have no reservations about recommending this company for treatments. Please don’t suffer in silence and discomfort. Thank you all for the excellent treatment you have given me so far.

Found this company by chance and am super happy with the results

Over 50 years of sporadic flare ups came to a head (or bottom, sorry) in May 2023. Expensive holiday was in jeopardy (not actually jeopardy, France to be precise) due to miserable flare up again. Normal life was impossible.
Desperation drove me to speak with Graham the CEO of ExRoid. After a long chat he got me a next day urgent appointment at a clinic.
Trepidation abounded. But took courage and went to the clinic in Taunton, a fair way from home but needs must.
I had wrongly assumed that Grade 1-4 roids were a onestop shop, apparently not. Internal vs external prolapses etc.
Anyhoo, the procedure was commenced after a brief consult.
Fortunately there was a suitable coat rack in the corridor where ones dignity can be safely left!
The 'jump leads' were inserted and after a couple of 3-4 minute applications the internal roids had their fate sealed.
Uncomfortable? Yes. Painful? Depends on your threshold.

All done in less than 15 minutes.

I walked into town had a snack, drove 80 miles home. The following day drove to France for a 4 day car tour.

Did it work? I have to say that without this procedure I would have been in agony and cancelled the holiday.

In closing I would say the procedure had a knock on effect of causing the external roids to virtually disappear also. Not always the case I understand.

Recommended? Yes.

Experience will surely differ. I can only say that this 'weird' innovation actually worked and restored active life.

I almost opted to have my nails and eyebrows done instead (it's a beauty salon too) but glad I manned up!!

I’m a 72 year old man and after enduring a prolonged uncomfortable period with one grade 4 and one grade 3 pile I had the Exroid procedure around 8 weeks ago in Liverpool. The consultant was Dr Javid Arain assisted by his very helpful nurse.

Following the treatment the grade 3 pile quickly receded whilst the grade 4 pile remained stubbornly between a grade 3 and grade 2 for around 5 weeks. For my own financial reasons I decided against a follow up treatment and chose instead to trust that the intensity of the treatment I had would ultimately yield the result I prayed for.

Thankfully over the past 3 weeks or so it would seem my prayers have been answered and the treatment has indeed yielded the desired outcome, leaving me free from the awful discomfort that those of us who suffer from this sort of affliction are only too painfully aware of. My troublesome and extremely painful grade 4 pile is at the time of writing no more and life is so much more enjoyable thanks to its seeming eradication.

I realise that my case does not accord with the usual maximum Exroid efficacy period of 4 weeks which may be due to the slower healing process we find as we get older. However, the result in my case seems to have turned out the same and for that I am immensely thankful and grateful to the Exroid team

I regret to say that my experience with this company has been extremely unsatisfactory. Despite their claims of being informative and providing comprehensive support, I found myself in a challenging financial situation after falling for their promises. In order to undergo the procedure, I had to take on credit, hoping for a positive outcome.

During the procedure, I was assured that my mild haemorrhoids had a low chance of requiring further treatment. The company emphasized their use of advanced technology, leading me to believe that significant improvement was almost certain. However, I have not witnessed any improvement in my day-to-day life and continue to endure the same symptoms.

Upon following up with the company, I was suggested to undergo another procedure, which would only increase my already burdensome credit debt. This ongoing cycle feels never-ending and leaves me questioning the legitimacy of their practices. If the promised improvements and assistance were not delivered as expected, it is only fair that the company would arrange a follow-up treatment at no cost, especially considering the procedure takes just 30 minutes.

I strongly advise against raising your hopes with this company. Instead, I recommend seeking treatment at a reputable hospital where you can receive the proper care and guidance. Learn from my mistake and avoid falling into unnecessary debt for a treatment that offers no helpful results.

I can only say that I'm so happy that I found out about eXroid. I suffered for piles for years with frequent bleeding when on the toilet. I had tried banding with the NHS but this proved unhelpful. Dr Iqbal was knowledgeable, gentle and very efficient. I won't pretend that the procedure wasn't uncomfortable but it was only 20 mins out of my life. I walked out of the clinic and was immediately able to continue with my life with no painful after-effects. Thank you again eXroid.
