Save Your Money. Seriously.
Right, where to start with what can only be described as the most premium, world-class, utterly unforgettable driving experience of my life. And not in the way Everyman Racing's marketing team would hope.
I arrived having paid extra for a Porsche 911 Turbo. Fantastic car, the Turbo. Iconic. Legendary. So you can imagine my absolute delight when I was handed the keys to a Carrera 4 instead. Same number of wheels, I'll give them that.
Now, I don't know much about cars, but I'm fairly confident that when you climb into a Ferrari, a Porsche AND an Audi R8 and all three of them are lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights, that's perhaps not ideal. Call me old fashioned. Health and safety gone mad, probably.
The Ferrari experience in particular was truly something special. We tried to start it six times. Six! Most people struggle to get that many attempts at parallel parking. The brake was sticking and it stalled three times before we could even move. When I pointed this out to the instructor, he offered the deeply reassuring response of "ah, it's doing it again" – which tells you everything you need to know about how regularly this car is actually fit for purpose. Magnificent.
Once we did eventually get going – and I use the term "going" loosely – I was instructed to change gear before 4,000 RPM. In a Ferrari. On a racetrack. My top speed for the session was 68mph. I once did 70 in a hire car on the A303 on the way back from a funeral and felt more alive. I told the instructor halfway round that I wasn't enjoying myself, to which he explained he had to follow his manager's instructions. So somewhere in that building there is a manager who has made a conscious decision that customers should pootle around in a deteriorating Italian supercar like they're doing a school run. Visionary stuff.
The Audi R8 V10 – a car I know well – handled like it had four completely different opinions about which direction it wanted to go in. Malfunctioning suspension at a guess. But what do I know, I've only driven R8s my whole life.
The McLaren session rounded things off beautifully, with an instructor who spent the duration shouting, grabbing the wheel, and apparently trying to win the session himself. Lovely bloke, I'm sure, but absolutely dreadful. I'm 38. I've driven Radicals, a supercharged Lotus Exige, and an Audi R8. I do not need a man screaming at me in a car I'm not being allowed to actually drive.
I didn't bother with the hot lap at the end. Couldn't face it. Just wanted to leave, which I think speaks volumes.
I travelled from Somerset. Paid extra for Dunsfold. Took a full day off work. And the undisputed highlight of the entire experience was the drive home in my own car. My own, completely ordinary, not-a-Ferrari Audi S3. That's the review. That's where we've landed.
I have video evidence of all of it – the stalling, the warning lights, the suspension chaos – so don't even think about it.
I'd like my £500 back please. Cheers.

All of our vehicles are subject to ongoing maintenance and safety checks, and our instructors are required to operate within strict safety procedures during sessions. We were left cold, frustrated and disappointed
I bought my son (aged 13) a fast ride as a passenger in a Ferrari and Lambourghini. We were told to arrive at 10.30, which we did and were told that the Hurcan wasn't available. That was fine and we changed to a McClaren.
The issue came when waiting for the experience. Bearing in mind the first ride in the Ferrari was booked for 11am, my son did not get to go in it until 12.11pm. That's 1 hour and 40 minutes after arriving! Plus he only got to go in it when I asked one of the representatives how long it would be. When she guided my line of sight to the clipboard, I could see that lots of other people had bookings at a much later time than my son and they had already been given their turn. I was offered no explanation and I was told 'he would be the next one'. After his ride we were waiting again and I went to see the representative again at 12.35. She informed me she didn't even have my son's name on the list! She then had to add his name manually with a big arrow. Again, many other people with later time slots jumped ahead of my son. By this time it had been 2 hours since we had arrived. My son was so disappointed, cold and frustrated. He finally got a ride at 12.52 but only after I kept asking the representative to put him on the next ride. He was one of the last to ride despite us arriving at 10.30 and his original booking being at 11am and 11.30. We paid £180 in total - so disappointing.

Really disappointing
Booked the junior driving experience for a friends 8 year old as a gift.
It's advertised for up to 9 year old, but the car is tiny and my friends sons legs where up right by the steering wheel which made it hard for him to drive. My friends son is not tall for his age either.
Not only that, the 'track' was a few plastic cones laid out behind the sign in tent, it was not clear where the track was at all and he ended up just going backwards and forwards as even if you tried to do the 'track', the corners were far tighter than possible for the car to go round. Lastly, the pictures on the advertisement show a proper track with a proper small race car. Overall it was really disappointing and the lady doing it looked like she couldn't have been standing in a worse place.

Bought a high speed passenger…
Bought a high speed passenger experience for my father for his 80th and then purchased a flying lap for myself on the day at Lydden Racetrack on the 11th April.
Very well organised and most importantly my father had a great time in his chosen car, the Audi R8.
Very flexible on the day and allowed my father to switch his choice of cars to just the one he preferred for all his laps.
Special mentions to Harvey the driver both for my fathers laps and my flying lap for being good fun and a very competent driver and a lady called Sue at the arrivals desk for being very friendly and helpful.
I suspect we will be returning for another experience soon!

Paid for In-Car Footage, Didn’t Receive It | Very Disappointing Experience
I booked an Under-17s driving lesson along with a high-speed passenger run with Everyman Racing, and I also paid extra for in-car footage for both experiences. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
For the Under-17s lesson, I received the in-car footage, but it wasn’t even my session. I was given footage of someone else driving, which is incredibly frustrating considering I specifically paid for my own experience to be recorded.
It got worse during the high-speed run. Despite paying for in-car footage, I was told that they “didn’t do it,” even though the recording equipment was clearly installed in the car. I paid for something that simply wasn’t delivered.
Overall, this felt very disorganised and unprofessional. When you pay extra for add-ons like in-car footage, you expect to actually receive them, especially when they’re a big part of the experience.
Very poor experience overall. I ended up paying for features I didn’t even receive, which completely took away from what should have been an exciting day.
