The Mary Celeste of Event Organisers

I have a booking tomorrow and for days have had the need to log in to view the contact details to send to the organiser.

Zero response from emailing info@, jess@, gemma@ and called them on their number 02038805753.

The emails are never answered and all options on the phone line direct you back to the website and email addresses.

If no-one is contactable before the event, I am sure trying to get my £90 refund will be impossible.

There is no "invite to review" from reviews.io either so no idea how they are getting reviews on that site which are all suspiciously favourable

We are sorry to read this, especially with your booking due to take place tomorrow. We understand why this would be frustrating if you were trying to access organiser details and felt you were not getting a response in time.

We are not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong. That said, we do respond to all customer emails, and our usual response time is within around 4 to 5 hours, so it would not be normal for someone to receive no reply at all. It may be that there was an issue with delivery, timing, or how the enquiry came through, and we would be happy to check that for you.

While we handle a high volume of bookings each weekend, that does not change the fact that you should still be able to get the information you need ahead of your event. In relation to Reviews.io, we only use verified reviews, so we would not agree that the feedback there is suspiciously favourable.

NEVER book from this Company.

NEVER book from this Company.
Cancelled the event with 1hr Notice on the day, and I have yet to recived a refund on my deposit.
Everyone had travelled 2hrs to the event location for a No Show, terrible service and Company needs to be held accountable for false advertising services they clearly do nit provide, but happily take deposits for. Shambolic, DO NOT BOOK.

We are very sorry to read this and completely understand why you would be upset, especially with people having travelled a long distance only for the event not to go ahead. That is not the experience we want anyone to have.

We do occasionally get things wrong. While we handle a high number of bookings each weekend with a strong attendance rate overall, there are rare occasions where last-minute illness or an inability to source a suitable replacement can lead to a cancellation.

It is very simple: if no one attends, you receive a refund. Once a refund has been processed, UK banks can take around 3 to 7 working days for the funds to reach the account, with international payments sometimes taking longer. Unfortunately, that part is outside of our control.

Well well well…

Well well well…. Didn’t review before booking wish I had looks like the old “illness card”has been played again!!! Received email informing that the performer is ill the day before and offered a stripper instead 🤦🏻‍♂️ seems most of the reviews here are the same avoid this company at all costs. Now I’ll try and get my deposit back which by the sounds of it is difficult. Should be shutdown!!!

We are really sorry to read this and completely understand why you would feel so frustrated, especially with such short notice the day before your booking. We are not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong.

Illness is unfortunately one of the main reasons for cancellations, and while we handle around 100 of bookings each weekend with around a 95% - 98% attendance rate this year so far, there are occasions where we are unable to find a replacement in time. In some rural areas, we experience higher cancellation rates due to the limited availability of entertainers.

We can see from your comments that you were unhappy with the alternative offered, and we do understand why that would have added to your disappointment. We are sorry that this left you with such a poor impression of our service.

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service, organised an event months in advance, only to be let down by 2 of the 3 entertainers on the day they were ment to turn up, don’t order a midget or a Roly poly they don’t have any on the books despite having loads on the website they take your deposit and cancel last minute, causing unnecessary stress, and then refuse to refund deposits! Do not use this company it’s a waste of time.

Horrific service - DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS

Horrific service - if I could give this company a zero star rating I would. I wish I read the reviews beforehand. After booking and paying £90 deposit, I came here to check the reviews of the company. I was concerned so I reached out to the lady to confirm that I will not experience the same issues. Her reply was "Most of the negative reviews we receive tend to come from events in rural areas such as Aberdeenshire and Inverness-shire in Scotland" and therefore since my booking was in Oxford, I shouldn't have a problem. Lo and behold, the day of the booking I received an email telling me the midget I ordered was "ill". They will try and guide you to their sham website for fake reviews they have written themselves. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We are very sorry to read how frustrated you felt about your experience. We manage around 110–160 bookings each weekend and maintain an attendance rate of around 97%. Unfortunately, on rare occasions entertainers do fall ill on the day of an event, which is the most common reason a booking cannot go ahead as planned. When this happens, our team does everything possible to find a replacement, though this is not always possible at very short notice depending on availability in the area.

We also want to address the accusation that we are a “scam.” We strongly refute this. We are a legitimate booking service that handles thousands of events and our verified reviews reflect the experiences of genuine customers who have booked through us.

That said, we are not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong. We genuinely regret when a situation like this causes disappointment, especially when someone is looking forward to their event.

Avoid at all costs, this is the worst agency in the UK, they charge the biggest deposit and pay the entertainers hardly enough for their time, you never actually book an entertainer, it just goes on a site and they blag it last minute- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

We certainly don’t recognise ourselves as “the worst agency in the UK,” but we do understand that when expectations aren’t met, it can feel incredibly frustrating. We are not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong. However, the small percentage we can’t fulfil is usually due to genuine illness, and in some rural areas, we do experience higher cancellation rates because of the limited availability of entertainers.

Do not use!

Do not use! They emailed us 5 hours before our booking saying the stripper is unwell but they can get us another but we have to pay an extra £150 for them to get to us. I text the stripper and he said they told him to go to a different job and wasn’t unwell. SCAM

To be completely clear, we do not run scams — and we strongly refute that suggestion. If an entertainer becomes unavailable close to the booking time, we’ll always try to source a replacement, but depending on where the booking is located and how last-minute the change is, additional travel costs can sometimes apply. However, this should be explained clearly, handled professionally, and never feel like pressure or a surprise.

Because no town/city is mentioned in your review, it’s also worth noting that in some rural areas we experience higher cancellation rates due to the limited availability of entertainers — and that can make last-minute replacements more challenging and travel-heavy.

We’d really like to look into the exact booking, the messages sent, and what was said to you versus the entertainer, as that doesn’t sound right. Please email us with the booking name/date and any screenshots you have, and we’ll investigate properly and come back to you directly.

Same as all the other reviews, cancelled tonight when the booking is tomorrow due to illness. No offer of a refund just replacement services which aren’t of interest. I’m sure they will attempt to deny any knowledge of my booking but my booking number is 9874 & I have the emails. It’s a shame you can’t add photos to reviews so they can’t deny bookings are legit. Absolutely disgusting what they do, taking money & giving false hope & letting people down when it is too late to make other arrangements.
