Excellent quality cable, needed because the one supplied with the car was not comparable with the full 7kW capacity of my charger. The extra length (1 metre longer) than the original makes all the difference for plugging in because of the distance from the charger to the car.

Replaced type 1 tether
I've been unsuccessfully trying to get an electrician to replace the type 1 tether lead on my charger. I got one quote for over £400, which seemed excessive. The converter plug does what it says, solves the problem, no electricians needed. Couldnt be better.

Great value for money
Great value for money. This was the cheapest electric car charging cable I could find, but the quality is excellent—really solid and well-made. Delivery was quick to, arriving within 2 days. Overall, I’m really happy with the service and would definitely recommend 5🌟

Great quality cable
Quick and accurate advice in the web chat. Quick service and delivery. I wanted a shorter cable that is IP65 and this is exactly what i wanted. Cheaper cables around but can tell this is well made.

Really well-made cable.
Good communications / well-packaged and quick delivery. As good as the one that came with the car (3m) but I need 10-15m and a better colour. Very good price compared to rest of the market. Would happily buy from EV-Cables but I think this one will last longer than I need.

We have owned an EV for more than 5…
We have owned an EV for more than 5 years and used alot of equipment. So far these are the best EV Type2 cables you can buy. They have a clasp that allows you to clip a plug to the cable to tidy up your coil. The caps for the plugs are strong and durable. The colours are perfect for our needs and the case was large enough to not break when you put a 15m cable in them. All five star issues to consider when you are getting an EV Type 2 cable.

Great service
I had a conversation on line with EV- Cables about their adaptor plug to convert a Type one to a Type two as I wasn't sure it would work. Lee said he was sure it'd be ok but I could return it if it didn't.
It arrived on time and work well !

I was looking for an adapter to convert my old type 1 charging station cable for a type 2 car. The information provided on their website was clear and accurate. The adapter was delivered quickly and works well. It appears to be strongly made and a quality product.

I needed a bigger cable to charge in…
I needed a bigger cable to charge in the street outside my property. This one lets me charge even if someone is parked at my house in the street. The cable is robust and the yellow colour makes it stand out. Was delivered quickly and customer services also responded quickly to a query.

Brilliant company and great solid…
Brilliant company and great solid product. Ordered a 3m cable to keep in my car then a 10 m to use from garden to the street.
Product arrived really quickly and is a good, high quality coloured cable with excellent dust protectors too. The yellow cable makes it easy to see.
After my first order I emailed customer services a question and had a quick response.
If you need a new or spare charging cable I would definitely recommend this company.
