I would not use this service for a…

I would not use this service for a Medallion signature for any work with a decease family member. After providing multiple proof of being related to the deceased they still would not give me a medallion signature. They are not accredited through the better business organization. The process also takes too long. After dealing with them for almost a month I asked for a refund. We will see if that even happens.

To clarify for anyone reading, a medallion signature guarantee makes us financially liable for the transfer, so we're required by law to verify legal authority over estate assets before we can stamp. We worked with Carrie to help her obtain the necessary documents, but she chose to discontinue. We wish her the best.

The transaction with eSignatureGuarantee.com began March 4, 2026. but all attempts to contact my representative resulted in radio silence. No response to numerous emails and voice messages left with the company, after she asked me a question in order to proceed! My next plan was going to be to contact the New York State Attorney General to inform them of what I believed to be fraudulent practices of this company, until I posted my complaint and was finally contacted regarding my case.

Update: Jess and Christina contacted me the morning after I wrote this review, and we were eventually able to resolve matters to my satisfaction. The stamp and documentation were delivered via courier May 5. I'm relieved to know that my transaction was completed, however having it take two months without any communication from eSignatureGuarantee.com until I posted this complaint wasn't good business practice. The reasons/excuses given for it having taken so long (my email address suddenly led to my emails to them to go to their unverified file) makes me wonder why others have difficulties communicating with this company, as it could end up being detrimental to their operation causing undo aggravation to customers, all at an elevated cost.

The apologies, phone conversations, and updates are appreciated, but it's up to you if you wish to sign on for this much bother, as my case appears to not be an isolated one.

Caveat emptor.

I would give ZERO stars if I could

I would give ZERO stars if I could. My Aunt’s spouse of 50 years died suddenly. She had no money so I paid for the service and had everything shipped FedEx overnight, So far I anm out almost $300 and it’s been over 60 days and still nothing!!!! No emails returned and there is no number to call. This when she is trying to survive on just over $1200 a month until she can get her spouse’s stock payout. SHAME ON YOU!

Nonexistent customer service, stay away

Their website method of signing up/paying for their service ($150) was not working, so they had to do it via email, which they charged me $250 for instead because "it was done via email." Ridiculous, but fine, I just wanted to get it done.

I paid, then started the process, sent my documents, and the rep requested one more item from me, which I sent, but then went radio silent. It has been 6 months since their last email back to me, they do not answer their phones, and their website "contact us" form "submit" button does not work. I am out $250 and have NO way of contacting them, and I cant even dispute the charge with my CC company anymore. Stay away from this company.

Edit 3/23/2026: Thank you Jess for your prompt reply, I will email you right now! Once resolved, I’ll update the review.

Response time lags!

This is the only company I can find to get a medallion guarantee with, so I don’t really have a choice. The first time I used them, the experience took longer than expected because I didn’t understand what documents they needed. The 2nd time around, it’s taking a lot longer than before, and the response time to email takes like a week! Apparently I missed a page on the document, but it is literally just the instructions page. Why do they need that? I still haven’t heard back. This is taking up so much of my time to close out my probate. My lawyer is not too thrilled.

Great experience, very efficient

I had a great experience with eSignatureGuarantee to obtain a Medallion Signature Guarantee to settle a Computershare account as part of estate succession. First I did my homework, both on Medallion Stamps (I wasn't familiar) as well as the documentation and forms required by Computershare to complete the transfer. I didn't get everything correct at first, but had no problem communicating with the eSignature Guarantee staff both by email and phone. The whole process was completed over the course of one week - super efficient.

Impossible

I need a "Medallion Signature Guarantee" to process an account from my mother's estate. The account is worth less than $100, and I'm doing this only to make sure there are no loose ends. So far I have paid $150 for this service and have provided a bunch of documents as listed on the website, but they keep asking me for yet more documents, some of which simply do not exist. Also, it will cost me still more for notary fees. This seems like an absurd and overly expensive and complex process for such a small account.
