Its was very secured and fast transactions..

I recently sold an account to a buyer I found through Facebook ads. I was hesitant, but the buyer persistently followed up with calls and even suggested using Escrow Village as an escrow service to handle the transaction. The payment and account details were processed.

Shortly after, on the same day, I realized the buyer had taken advantage of the situation the amount I received was far below the actual market value of the account. I requested that the account and cash be returned via the same process, but the buyer refused.

I then contacted Escrow Village to request a reverse transaction, offering to refund the buyer and cover any extra escrow fees. They did not even bring the issue to the buyer in the group, which made it feel like they were complicit or at least indifferent.

Their response was disappointing. They claimed they could only act during the transaction, not after. I insisted this was fraudulent under Nigerian law, as the buyer knowingly misrepresented the value potentially constituting fraud or obtaining by false pretense, punishable under Sections 1–3 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act.

They asked me to fill out a report to forward to the EFCC, which I did carefully, but beyond that, there was no meaningful assistance, and my case went silent.

From my experience, Escrow Village does not provide real protection for your money. They act more as a facade of security. If something goes wrong, you are largely on your own, even after paying their service fees.

Even when they request NIN or ID verifications, it seems more about appearing official potentially for data collection than providing genuine protection.

Exercise extreme caution if you care about your money or property.
