The motorhome was perfect and i recommand this place to rent it for your next trip.

My family had a great experience with the room in the RV.

The RV was very clean and a newer model vs other rentals I've used before

This is the 4th time we rented an RV from El Monte RV and have been very satisfied and delighted with their Vehicles as much as their service.
Each one of their RV's were really good, spacious, in great condition , came with a fully stocked kitchen appliances & cutlery ( which saved us the hassle of packing kitchen wares with us). We rented a size 30 RV this time and it was in a very good condition , very spacious and with good amount of moving space ( even without the slide out expanded). There was a good amount of cabinets, drawers, storage space. The RV also came with a big TV ( which we used as a smart TV using our own HDMI cables and connections), spacious refrigerator, freezer, gas with burners and a microwave.
While giving us a demo of the RV, Mr Milan Gandhi was very helpful, went through each and every feature of the RV at length & very meticulously and also made sure to promptly resolve some minor functionality in the RV that was noticeable to us.

Overall, it has been a great and satisfying experience everytime we rented an RV from the business and will come back to them again !!

Terrible communication. No reply to emails or calling back after multiple missed calls because we had issues with the RV. We had gas leakage, mirrors that could not be adjusted, and dead batteries almost every day even after hook up it charging them all day by driving. Never again.

Only thing, the coach door had no striping or did not seal when shut leading to extremely loud freeway noise.

Vehicle was older than promised, ovem didn’t work, hot shower stopped working after 2 days. Very noisy during driving even in roads. Store manager very impolite when we returned the vehicle.

quick easy, great personnel helping all process. Specifically, "Milan" was very friendly, informative, patient and helpful in orienting us on functions on 2 RV's we picked up. Similar experience upon turn in. Thank you.

Never again. Avoid at all costs. We rented an RV (via Motorhome Republic / El Monte RV, in Aug 2025. The vehicle was advertised as a 2024 model — but a VIN check proves it is a 2022 model. That is false advertising.

The RV was in catastrophic condition: broken and detached armrests, ripped upholstery, torn panels, exterior lockers that don’t lock (we couldn’t secure our belongings), filthy dishes and outdoor furniture, defective outlets, non-working tank indicators, and automatic leveling that practically never worked. The central A/C died after three days; repairs failed and we were forced to pay for three motel nights (USD 628) because it was impossible to sleep in the RV. We found used earplugs and debris on the floor at pick-up.

We filed detailed complaints (with photos and emails) without receiving compensation.

This company’s advertising is misleading and the equipment provided is unacceptable. We strongly advise all travelers to avoid Motorhome Republic / El Monte RV for rentals — do not trust the model year or the photos; inspect, verify the VIN, and demand written proof before driving away.

ANSWER TO YOUR REPLY:

Thank you for your public reply, but it feels entirely generic and disconnected from the real situation. We have already sent three detailed emails (Aug 18, Sep 3 and Sep 23) with full photo evidence, VIN verification proving the RV was a 2022 model instead of the advertised 2024, and proof of the A/C failure after only three days, the filthy condition of the vehicle, and its overall poor state.

To date, no one has ever replied or followed up, neither from your “customer care” address nor from Motorhome Republic. If you truly wish to resolve this matter rather than issue standard apologies, please contact me directly and reference Reservation IM44549012-HXO861187/1.
